HH 2.0 Phone and Bt Softphone Software
Not sure if this is the right part of the forum for tihs but here goes.
Later in the year i will be going away for 2 months, i will have access to the internet but not any other phones, my question is can i use the BT Softphone software on my laptop to call the HH 2.0 phone and not be charged for calls as this will be over the internet, i only ask this cos its BT.
I could use skype etc but i mat as well use the hub phone for something.
This test mode has cropped up before.
You could type test mode in to the search box and look for posts refering to the hub phone.
It does seem odd that you can't navigate away from this though.
You could try taking the batteries out for 10 mins or so - to see if it clears it.

I have to hit my home button a half dozen times to make it work. I've tried to reset the phone and update the sorfware. Is this a hardware problem? Where do I go to get it fixed?
At Apple Store this is handled with Replacement iPhone exactly like yours. If there is AppleCare or Warranty it will be covered, otherwise there will be a charge of $150 - $199 depending on iPhone model. If iPhone 5 it will be covered. If you want to try Virtual Home Button. Settings App > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > ON > tap new white screen button > Home.

Error when trying to configure sync between Outlook 2003 and Blackberry Desktop Software 4.6
I am unable to configure the Blackberry Desktop Software (version 4.6) to sync with my Outlook 2003. I used to have an older version of the desktop software and it worked just fine. I got a new phone and updated the software and am unable to configure the sync. I get the following message when I try to configure it: "Runtime Error: folder is no longer part of the system data source or the folder could not be found."
Please help. I need these to sync.HI and Welcome to the Forums!
I suggest trying a clean DTM uninstall:
KB02206 How to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software
followed by reinstalling from scratch. You should be able to go to the latest v5.0 with Outlook 2003...it's available here:

Touch screen on Iphone slowly, over a few days stopped responding. Went to Genius Bar and was given a new 3GS because they didn't know how to fix the issue. Cool. Went home synced with Macbook Pro (new-12/2010), two days later same issue. This time when I went to Genius Bar they restored the phone to factory settings and instructed me to load as a new phone in Itunes instead of restoring information of the previous phone, which is an option good for when your replacing phone not fixing one Anywho, did everything they told me to do. SAME ISSUE A FEW DAYS LATER. This time I was told the software issue is with my Macbook and I thought this made sense, so I took it in along with the phone. That was yesterday. Phone working intermittently since leaving Apple. I was given instructions that if their "daily" fix didn't work to erase hard-drive and reinstall software that came with the macbook and start fresh. This would definately fix the issue. Extreme yes, but I need use of my phone, especially since we got rid of the house phone and all use cell phones. So last night I did the required erase of hard-drive and re-loaded all software that came with it and Microsoft Office for Mac. Plugged in the phone to set up in itunes and thought that was it. My phone is still not working. Can't answer when I try, can't make calls, etc. What the heck do I do? I'm starting to feel like a major lamo having to keep going back to Genius Bar, but I know enough to know these issues should have been resolved with the steps I've taken. I even went as far as to restore through my husbands computer and same thing. Could there be a problem with Itunes? Could the magnetic stripe in my debit card be hurting the device somehow, although that's a long shot since I have had the same or similar case since getting the phone. Frustrated beyond belief. Apple support not open at this hour so I'm trying my luck here.....

I downloaded latest software on iphone 4 and installed new software on my imac (snow leopard 8.6)and now phone not synching with new itunes. Itunes does recognize the phone but the itunes is totally different now. It doesn't look anything like the previous vesions. I can't even find a tab for synching. very strange. any help is appriciated.

My MacBook Pro does not recognize my Android Incrdible 2 cell phone and therefore I can not transfer any photos from my cell phone to my Mac. I was able to do this in the past, but can not do so now. I have not upgraded to any new software. My USB cable is plugged in properly and I just get an error message -- "No Android Device Found". What could be the problem?
I had the same issue with the Galaxy S4 trying to see what the hype was about and was my first and last android phone. With that being said unfortunately it is a hit or miss with the Mac recognizing an android device or not. It worked perfectly fine the first time around and then it stopped working for no apparent reason. Through trial and error nothing I did solved the issue. I did however plug it in my Mac and left it connected for about 30-40 min to charge for a bit and all of the sudden it recognizes the phone. So I just launched Android File Transfer and everything else became fluid after that. I have no explanation as to why it happened that way, but what I gathered from this is maybe you just have to let it sit for a minute while plugged in before the Mac recognizes it, after all they are opposing software. On a side note this is why I will always be an apple user, Iphones and the like never have this problem

I have just upgraded to Windows 8 and my scyning and upgrading my phone with new apple software fails, Itunes looses connection with the device (phone), cant backup the phone or download new software, is this an issues with Windows

Im trying to update my iphone 4s as i can't dowload alot of thing as it says i need to update to IOS 5 i have googgled how to do it but my phone does not have software update option on it. does anyonw know how to fix this problem or had this problem? if so how did you go around fixing it and updating the phone. thanks in advance.

The next tech admitted this had happened to ssomeone else and stated it was a problem with my phone triggered by the software update, and because I was 57 days out of warrently, it would cost me $199 for replacement phone. So basically, anyone that chooses to upgrade their software, risk messing up their access to wifi and have to pay the developer of the software to fix the problem, their program caused. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this. Why wasn't I informed of the risks that could occur if I updated my device. I hNave reset, restored my device with no change. I have even reset to original with all my data deleted. Now what??
You are correct. This is a very bad hardware error of the WiFi Chip on the Logic Board. The Chip malfunctioned or was previously damaged, but the initialization error was not detected until you Update/Restore the iPhone recently. The Problem was there, just not detected yet. The repair or replacement of the WiFi Chip is very difficult. Because Apple does not repair iPhone 4S, they only replace iPhone 4S, it costs $199.

Try the following:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network settings
If the Wi-Fi is still not working, basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
The vast majority of users upgrade with absolutely no issues. -

You should have been sycning them with your computer all along. Sync them from your computer back to the iphone.

Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Restore the iPhone.
