HH3 vers the Bt Bus hub HGV 2701v

Hi All
IS the HH3 holding back the speeds
When the HH3 ver b is connected via infinity
Download speed is 65mb with upload of 8.91
just tried my BT infinity HGV2701 v
Got download speeds of 77.5 with upload of 17mb
tried the speedteat.net tester few time got the same results

@Travelusa. Do I just put my details into the business home hub page the same ones as my home connection details?. Do I just write them down of my home hub page now and then put them in when I have rigged up my business hub or are the details different?. Mine at the moment says this:- [email protected], do I just put that in with my password into the business home hub?, or what do I put in?. Is it username and password into the buisness hub settings not what is in my HH3 settings at the moment?.
I have a BT Business Hub 2701 HGV-C and a Black BT Buiness Hub 3.0. How can I get these working on my home infinity connection, has anyone got any ideas of how to rig them up?, I would like to try. I have heard BT Business modems are alot better for your connection with speeds etc..
Has anyone actually tested the bt Business hubs on a residential infinity connection?. Are they better modems?.
Please click on pink star to the left and say thanks if I have helped you at all!. Thank you. Home Hub Page- http://bthomehub.home/

  • Can an aftermarket display tax the USB bus?

I just had a very weird issue, I purchased a 22" samsung DVI display I got pretty cheap off of Ebay, I originally was using a 20" Cinema Display and love it, but I want like most of us I guess ,more real estate. The Samsung has no USB ports as the Apple display, which I guess for me is the first issue as I use a wireless keyboard connected to USB, A Digidesign MBox2 connected to USB a iLoc key and yeah, connected to USB AND my wireless USB aircard. I had to use my old Apple keyboard as a USB hub because I of course ran out of ports on the computer and no longer had any on the display, maybe that's my issue but I didn't think I had so much to load down the usb ports from the computer. My air card began acting erraically, my MBox2 died and upon reboot I got a message warning that USB device was no operational due to low power in the USB bus. Is my problem the fact that I don't have an additional powered USB hub anymore (cinema display)? or could the Samsung display be at fault? Going back to the 20" seems to have solved all my problems, so far. But I really want the larger size, However I don't want to spend on a USB hub unless I really have to.

    Hi-
Your Samsung is not at fault.
The hub in the Cinema Display has additional power, which helps with multiple devices.
Using the keyboard hub is no good with unpowered devices, as there is no additional power to the ports.
You just need a powered USB hub to connect all the other devices.

  • How can I output a digital value (0 or 1) directly with a VI on the RTSI-bus?

    The Device is a PCI-MIO-16XE10.
    Thanks.

The RTSI bus is designed for sharing timing and control signals between boards. By timing and control we mean clock signals, digital triggers, etc. RTSI is not meant to pass I/O signals, even digital I/O signals. Thus, it is not possible to connect one of the digital I/O lines on your board to a RTSI line. A way to accomplish what you would like to do might be to toggle GPCTR0's Output and connect that signal to the RTSI bus. You would do this by configuring the counter to perform event counting and counting down from a specified number of pulses on the source pin and configuring the counter's output to toggle on terminal count. You could also configure the counter to perform pulse train generation or single pulse generation. To connect the output to the RTSI bus, yo
u will need to call the Route Signal VI from the DAQ Calibration & Configuration Function Pallette with Signal Name set to RTSIn and Signal Source set to GPCTR0 Output.

  • Where can I find a driver for the SM bus? It is not available thru HP support.

I have a Compaq Presario V5120NR notebook. My operating system crashed and was not recoverable. I ourchased a copy of Windows XP Home Edition and installed it. This is the same operating system that came on the notebook. I downloaded all drivers available thru HP support and installed them. The Device Manager still shows that I have no driver installed for the SM bus. The notebook works, but has a few "quirks", such as the screen saver comes on, but then goes off for no apparent reason. No major problems, just little annoying things like that. Any idea where I can get the driver for the SM bus would be greatly appreciated,  :-)
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    You're very welcome.
Normally the SMBus controller with the chipset in your notebook is installed with the graphics driver.
I figured installing the generic AMD driver might contain the SMBus controller your notebook needs.
So, you can try that, or...
I have one other suggestion.  Try this driver and see if it works. You have to manually install it.
    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12...
Download and run the file.  It will extract to C:\SWSetup\sp33927.
Go to the device manager and click on the SMBus controller needing drivers.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the manual search method and browse to the above folder.
Select the SMBUSati.inf file and see if it installs the smbus controller.
This driver is from a dc5750 desktop with an AMD chipset. Maybe that is a generic ATI controller used by a lot of PC's.

  • What is the PCI bus performance of the 1422?

I'm currently using an IMAQ PCI-1422 to acquire images from a camera. The image size is 1280x1024 @ 8-bits a pixel. Currently the camera can only run freely at 20 fps. So this data rate is roughly 26 MB/s. The IMAQ card seems to be able to acquire these images at that rate. However, I need to be able to retrieve these images into system memory at the same rate. At this time, I've only managed to retrieve the images at around 12 fps which is about 16 MB/s. Is this all I can reasonably expect from this card? There is no other activity along the PCI bus except for perhaps minor updates to the video display.
I'm acquiring images using a Grab. I use a callback on the Buffer Done signal to trigger an acquisit
ion running in another thread. Actually, I'd prefer to the acquisition in the callback itself, but I am uncertain as to how the callback is implemented and what I can and can't do in a callback. Is there documentation somewhere that I'm missing?
Oh yeah. I'm using MSVC++ and Windows 98.
    Thanks

I tried the example and removed the clipping the ROI to the size of the canvas and also took out the image plot to make sure we would get accurate times. I get the same frame rate with that example as I did with my own code (around 12 fps). Also, I neglected to mention that for my own code I placed calls to timers just before and just after the call to imgGrab, and the time difference is what you would expect: about .083 seconds (average) to retrieve one frame.
I know nothing about the internal structure of the PCI-1422, but considering that we are retrieving images from the same SDRAM memory that is being used to acquire images, are we seeing some sort of bus contention on the PCI-1422 itself? Also, the camera I'm using is an evaluation board, and I have access
to the schematics and should soon have access to the CPLD design. So I can verify the design of the camera itself. I'm glad to hear that you expect to be able to transfer at 45MB/sec. That probably means that there is something not quite right either in the camera interface or perhaps in the computer system being used. But if you have any other ideas, I'd be glad to hear them.
    Thanks for the response.

  • How do i update the thunderbolt bus firmware of my iMac?

    Hi all
I am a beginner at working with OSX so please understand that i need specific information if you ask me to do anything. I have a specific problem with setting up thunderbolt display. I wish to set up my second iMac as a secondairy screen using target display mode. The situation is the following:
I have two mid 2011 iMac models and a thunderbolt cable. One of these iMacs has thunderbolt bus firmware version 22.1 and the other has 25.1. Both machines are running OSX Mavericks, with all no extra updates available in the app store (all updates have been installed). When i connect them via the thunderbolt cable, the status in system information > hardware > thunderbolt remains on "port: status: no device found". pressing cmd + f2 logically does nothing as long as the iMac does not recognize the other iMac.
When i connect the iMac with the 25.1 firmware version, to another iMac from a colleague, which also has firmware version 25.1 via the same thunderbolt cable, i could use it as a second screen.
From what i know there are two options now:
    - my second imac has a broken thunderbolt port
    - my second imac needs a firmware update to version 25.1
I have, however, no idea how to verify either of these things. Googling on how to update the thunderbolt bus firmware does not give any good results and the app store offers no thunderbolt firmware upgrades anymore (thunderblt firmware update 1.2 is already installed). hence i am trying to solve this via the community now.
Do any of you have any ideas on how to procede? i prefer to fix this issue without taking it to a service center.

There should be a Camera selector in Skypr's Audio/Videob preference.

  • 13-inch rMBP thunderbolt ports on the same bus?

    Hi,
I'm looking to run two Focusrite Saffire Pro 40' s in Dual Unit Mode, with both directly connected to my MBP via Thunderbolt firewire adapters.
Focusrite requires that in Dual Unit Mode, if not daisychained, the two firewire connections share the same bus.
Are the two Thunderbolt connections on the same bus?
    Thanks very much!

I don't have a retina MBP at my disposal to check with, but you can pretty easily figure this out if you have the computer in front of you.
Within the System Information program you can select Thunderbolt from the menu on the left and it will detail whether there are one or two busses.
To get to System Information, you can use Spotlight (the looking glass in the top right corner of the screen) or you can use the Apple logo in the top left, then click About this Mac > More Info > System Report.

  • Read all raw data out of the CAN bus

    Hello,
our company has purchased a complete CAN bus HW; chasis 9174 and module 9862. I am using NI-DAQmx 9.5.5, NI-XNET 1.5.
I have connected the module (CAN High, CAN Low, Vsupp 12V - Car battery, GND - Car battery) to the ABS CAN bus segment.
Using Osciloscope on CAN High and CAN Low wires I can see communication rolling when I start the car ignition.
I had no success using the Bus Monitor utility.
I made a very simple read VI hoping to monitor some traffic.
All VIs run without error, but the Read VI is returning same data (Ignition off or on), I do not know what am I supposed to recieve, what kind of data is the output.
I think it is wrong, since I get the same data out of it no matter what the CAN bus traffic is.
The array of frames is filled with two frames with message identifiers that should be transmitted. I added two frames into emopty database and no signals.
    1) From my understanding, the Bus Monitor utility monitors only those messages that I specify in the database, so that no messages/frames = no traffic monitored, is this correct ?
    2) Is there any way, how to read all raw data from the bus ? What VI palettes to use... ?

Problem solved, the company that was preparing the car made wrong labels (swapped CAN H with CAN L)

  • Synchronization of PCI devieces via the RTSI bus using the measurement studio for Viusual Basic 6

    Hi everyone,
I would like to synchronize a NI 4474 A/D card with a NI 6733 D/A card via the RTSI bus. Is there any way of sharing the timebase using the measurement studio for VB 6.0? It seems like it could be possible using the traditional NI-DAQ .DLL but I would prefer to do it with the ActiveX API.
I am quite desperate, since all my attempts to use the CWDAQTools1.RouteSignal and CWDAQTools1.RouteRTSI command failed miserably :-(
Thank you very much in advance!
    Federico

    Thank you very much indeed!
Unfortunately it doesn't really work... I cannot use the DI options since my A/D card (NI 4474) does not support DI/DO... When using the other option (CWDAQTools1.RouteRTSI) I keep getting an error message that this command is inapropriate for my device (even though it does have a RTSI bus and allegedly it also supports time sharing...)
    Looking forward to your answer!
    Kind regards
    Federico

  • Changing the system bus speed?

    Hello,
I have an overclocked 700MHz (now 900MHz) eMac, with a 100MHz system bus speed, and I am wondering, is the only way of messing with the processor speed overclocking it? And if you CAN change the bus speed, will it make the eMac feel any faster? Since the processor is at 900MHz, I would like the bus speed to be around 750-850MHz. Is that even possible? I've tried googling this kinda thing, but all I get is how to overclock it. (I got that part already, I just want to know if I can change the system bus speed too.)
    Regards.....
    Your fellow eMac User,
    Matthew Knice

I'm thinking that, with two months of viewing, it either isn't possible or offeres too much risk of turning the computer into an expensive doorstop.
The Beige G3's bus speed was controlled by jumpers, relatively easy to tweak. Newer Macs tend to be hardwired

  • Is the RTSI bus cable interface a direct 1 to 1 pin connection?

I am using a straight ribbon cable to connect the RTSI bus between two boards (AT-MIO-16E-1 and PCI-6602), but I am not able to receive the signal on the PCI board. (I am using RTSI0 as a gate for the counters on PCI-6602).

    yes,
for my understanding the RTSI bus is only as bus with a 1-1 connection usefull, also i build this cable in the past by myself (and it worked).
Have You checked the description of both cards, there might be a difference in using of RTSI and what is needed as source for gate?
    good luck

  • Register level programing of the 6601 counter to connect signals to the rtsi bus

I have need for more than 4 clocks and have several 6601 counter boards. I would like to use an additional board for the extra clock but need to send signals to the this board from the other. The most efficent way seems to be to use the rtsi bus to connect the 2 boards together. I am programing the counter boards at the register level  using a kernel module in linux. The register level porgramming manual explains how to connect different signals to the sourse pins of the clocks including the rtsi signals.  I have been successful in doing this but  can not find info on how to route the output signal of one clock  to the input of another using the rtsi bus. Using  web search I have seen ways to do this using labview and dqmx calls but nothing for programin at the register level. Thanks for any help on this problem.

  • Can we monitor the CAN bus load through a vi

Is there a way to monitor the CAN bus load through a vi? I am using USB 8473 to establish a CAN communication.
    Thank You,
    -Raghu

    Hi Raghu,
Are you referring to fuctionality similar to the percentage bus load the NI CAN Bus Monitor shows?
If so, there are no built-in LabVIEW VIs that access this information.  You would have to use the available CAN VIs and implement it yourself.
Alternativly, if you only need this for testing, you can use another NI CAN device on the bus to monitor the bus load and then simply remove this device for deployment.
    Hope this helps!
