HH5 - DNS filters non-existent domains

Hello,
New HH5 user, and I have noticed that something is filtering out DNS queries. If I try and resolve a non-existent domain, I get a 'NOERROR' reply with an A record (IP address) answer of 92.242.132.15. The reverse entry shows this to be 'unallocated.barefruit.co.uk.'
Can someone tell me how I can remove this filtering please? I want to know if a domain exists or not, not to have my DNS queries filtered to always indicate that the domain exists.
I have had a look at the hub-manager, but can see nothing about the DNS in there.

Opt out of web address help, its as simple as that, which is what the link says. Then you will get no reply for non-existent domains.

This is the error message I get whenever I try to connect to my servers domain which I just set up earlier today. I have read through a bunch of other threads on the same error message
but each of them has had different solutions and none of them have helped me.
The one thing that I suspect is related to my problem is that I can't ping my domain on the W7 computer I'm trying to connect. I can ping the server, but not the domain. the domain
i'm using is set up like "domain.local" .
Other things that might be relevant.
I'v already set up user accounts and a computer under the Server 2012 active domain administrator settings.
I'v port forwarded ports 80 and 443 on the server.
The server has a static IPv4 IP adress. I haven't done anything with IPv6
The W7 computer has a dynamic IP adress, but I don't think it changes. I believe my router is set up to keep it constant, not 100% sure though.
Thanks for any help with this, I'm pretty much out of ideas on this.

Firstly, would you please let us know the outputs of ipconfig /all both of the clients and the DC.
Also, if you run nslookup FQDN of your DC from your clients, what will you receive?

This is my first post here.
My exchange server of late is facing a peculiar problem. I get the error message that I have posted below when sending mails to any outside domain. However when I restart the server the mails can be resend to the address without any issue. After a certain
time again the issue pops up upon which I am forced to restart the server again. I am running 2007 Exchange on Windows 2003.

Sure, but it's necessary to ask a lot of questions since none of us
know how your organization is set up.
I see you also have "Use the External DNS Lookup settings on the
transport server" box checked. How have you configured the "External
DNS Lookups" on the HT server's property page? Is there any good
reason why you aren't just using your internal DNS servers? If the
internal DNS servers are configured to resolve (or forward) queries
for "external" domains then there's no reason to use that checkbox. In
most cases checking that box is a mistake.

The behavior you describe (it works for a while and then fails;
restarting the server returns it to a working state) sure sounds like
some sort of DNS problem.

Exchange Server 2013 SP1 - Readiness Check Failing - Detected Non-existent Exchange 2007 Servers

For development purposes, I needed to install Exchange Server 2013 in our environment. Our current environment includes a couple Domain Controllers, a Sharepoint Server, and a SQL Server. So, it's got a very simple topology. The one thing
our environment does NOT have are current Exchange servers.
During the "Prerequisite Analysis" phase of the install it complained that two servers, that I can find nowhere in our active directory domain, are running Exchange 2007. Obviously, this presents some unique problems. Perhaps as a test
many years ago, someone installed Exchange 2007 to "play" with, but we've never run Exchange for any length of time.
So, this is quite the conundrum, given the above does anyone have any suggestions as to a potential solution? Ideally, I'd like to be able to "lift the covers" and cleanup the references to the non-existent servers somehow, but ANY suggestions
for fixes are MUCH appreciated.

Here is the thing I would do (Only if I am not going to have any exchange 2007 ever in the environment).
On any of windows server 2008 download
Exchange 2010 SP3
Extract the file and run the below command:
Setup.com /ps
This will make Exchange 2013 install. Also Deleting Exchange Administrator Group wouldn't help as Setup will look for the information about schema into AD.

Can't add Server 2012 to existing domain

I'm getting this error:
"Verification of replica failed. The forest functional level is Windows 2000. To install Windows Server 2012 domain or domain controller, the forest functional level must be Windows Server 2003."
My forest level is set at 2008R2, per AD Domains and Trusts (on both the 08 servers and 2012). The forest was set at 2003 before, so I demoted the old 2003 server and raised it to 2008 with no luck, then went ahead and went to 2008R2.
The 2012 server (clean install, no upgrades) is already a member of the domain.
adprep /forestprep reports "forest wide information has already been updated"
Connectivity seems to be fine (ping, no firewalls) between the 2 08R2 DCs and the new 2012 server. Weird thing is all the AD tools are installed in 2012, and I can even create new domain users from it.

You dont need manual schema upgarde for adding a new windows 2012 Domain controller. That is integrated with dcpromotion. Also you dont required the DCPROMO.
Set DFL & FFL minimum 2003.

As with previous versions of Windows Server, automated domain preparation for domain controllers that run Windows server 2012 does not run GPPREP. Run
adprep.exe /gpprep manually for all domains that were not previously prepared for Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, or Windows Server 2008 R2. You should run GPPrep only once in the history of a domain, not with every upgrade. Adprep.exe
does not run /gpprep automatically because its operation can cause all files and folders in the SYSVOL folder to re-replicate on all domain controllers.

Adding a domain controller to an existing Domain inside server 2012

I have created a domain contoso.com with an administrator account.Then i moved to 2nd server which i want to add in this existing domain.Being logged in at the 2nd server with administrator account, i added the role of ADDS and then i tried to promote
this to DC.While do so, i selected the option "Add a domain controller to existing domain".When i finally recah this the Installation wizard , it shows like "creating NDTS settings objects fo this ADDS on remote ADDC(domain name)..........This
page remains in progress for ages and process never finishes.
When i check at the first(main domain) , there is no NDTS object for the added DC although i can see the server but nothing inside it.NDTS object should be there.Y
1) NDTS object is not created ?
2) The process is taking hours?
Both can ping each other

1. IP of DNS setting on second server points to first DC.
2. Add second computer to domain. Make sure that second server is part of AD (member).
3. Add role ADDS on second server that is member of AD.
In summary: You should add second server to domain first before promoting it to DC role.

OSD Across a Non-Trusted Domain

Hello All,
Thank you in advance for the help. I am trying to validate a configuration I would like to put in place for a client.
The client has Configuration Manager 2012 set up to manage computers in a non-trusted domain with no MPs in the non-trusted domain. There are DPs in the non-trusted domain. The site runs in an https configuration for these clients. We have configured a subordinate
CA in their forest that trusts the CA in the forest that hosts the ConfigMgr site servers and all certs are working fine.
My question: Will OSD function correctly for computers in the non-trusted domain? Or so I need to have an MP in the non-trusted domain as well?

Yes, you are correct - there are multiple HTTP MPs that are reachable from the non-trusted forest's computers on the Intranet. There is also an HTTPS MP in the DMZ which is reachable from the internal network as well (we use split-brain DNS for this). The
DMZ MP in HTTPS mode can handle the requests from the non-trusted forest's clients and I envision DPs being configured in the non-trusted forest's domain in HTTPS mode to provide the DP service for the non-trusted domain's clients.
One of the other respondants indicated that they believed this config would work as long as the client could reach a PXE enabled DP. I don't see a reason this won't work as well with a boot image with a cert on it or via Software Center, right?
Does this configuration sound kosher?

Exchange 2007 when sending a calendar invite, a non-existent delegate shows up in an undeliverable message

I had a test user that was removed. When it was removed, it was still listed as a delegate on someone's email. Now, whenever a Calendar invite is sent to the existing user, the sender receives an undeliverable message. The existing user does not receive
notification of a calendar event, but the event does show up in the calendar.

If the delegate user account or mailbox has been removed from domain or Exchange server, please also remove the delegate settings with this account.
If a user is set as a delegate for a manager, the meeting request which is send to the Manager would be forwarded to the delegate automatically and ask for approving in the delegate side.
Please do the following steps in the Manager’s Outlook client to remove the delegate settings for this non-existent delegate:
1. Open the Manager’s Outlook.
2. Click File > Account Settings > Delegate Access.
3. In the Delegate list, click the non-existent delegate, click Remove.
4. Click OK to save the settings.
Then check whether the issue persists.

Issue with sales order stock that is referencing a non-existing sales order

We have an issue with sale order stock.
Due to user error we have ended up with a negative quant of sales order stock in a bin. Further the error was due to mis-keying of sales order number. Hence this negative quant is referencing a sales order that does not exist.
We need to get rid of this quant.
I thought of cycling this quant off as a solution. And hence replicated the scenario in the test system. I was able to create a TO to cycle it off but cannot clear the differences from 999 . The error I get while trying to do this is "SD document not in database or has been archived" . This error is true since the sales order actually does not exist. So cycling it off did not work.
Can anyone suggest how we can get rid of this negative quant of sales order stock ?

You said that your user mistyped the SO number and it resulted in a -quant. In which transaction was it possible? If I give a non existing no. SAP doesn't allow me to book.
If I were you I would check both in WM & IM what the user had done...step-by-step...
Negative quant comes to existance in interim storage type if we book e.g. a GI. It should have started in IM...how was your user be able to do that??? If it was possible cannot you reverse the IM booking?
(...if all else fails...cannot you create a SO document with external number assignment with the same number?...)

My iPhone 5S prompts me for my password to an Apple ID email that no longer exists as an account. How do I change my Apple ID address without having to change the primary address to a non-existent email account?

How can I change my Apple ID without having to change the primary email address to this non-existent account? If I did so, I wouldn't be able to access the account to receive the verification email. To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I keep getting calls from non existing area codes and phone numbers. They are never the same number twice. How do I stop this?

About a week ago I started getting phone calls on my cell phone from numbers that do not exist, including the area codes. I can not report these to the Do Not Call list because the area code is non existent. I'm getting these calls all the time now and never from the same number twice so there's no point in blocking them. If I answer I may or may not get a person who has an accent from India so heavy that I can't understand what they are saying. This is getting to the point where I just want to cry I'm so frustrated. Anyone else having this issue or does anyone know how to stop it?

Add "Targets" attribute to the connection pool. You may
get an idea how it looks like by searching config.xml
for "targets". If target servers are not set, the pool won't be
deployed and can not be used to a create datasource.

Is anybody could help me with DCPROMO install on RODC 2008 R2 ? I wanna join to an Existing forest. "Create a new RODC in an existing domain". If you could write me step by step cmd would be nice.

by cmd you mean from command promt?
If, use something like this:
dcpromo /unattend:c:\ua.txt
The file should contain at least this info:
