The music icon will only access your purchased music. You need to go to the computer icon. It must be on and running iTunes, and home-sharing enabled in order for it to be accessible to Apple TV

Can't merge two apple IDs and can't download purchases from both onto the same iMac

Some time ago I discovered that I had inadvertently created two apple IDs. One that I had used many years ago as a student and then the other I created when I bought my first iPhone. These days I only use the newer account I created however I still own a few songs which were purchased on the older account back when I was a student. SO recently I logged into the older account to get those old songs that I'd purchased and download them onto my work iMac - GREAT! ...Right up until I wanted to now download some newer songs I'd recently purchased directly onto my iPhone using the new account - UH-OH! NOPE! I'm not allowed to download those songs for 90 days! Are you frickin kidding me?! They're both MY accounts! They're both linked to me - use the same details, same address, same credit card, same everything else!!! But apple won't let me download songs that I now own for 3 months onto my iMac because I happen to have two accounts. This is insanely ridiculous! I would happilly merge the two accounts if it was possible but of course there is no way to do this either. I understand that the intention is to stop people from sharing songs by linking to a friends apple ID and downloading their songs, however I am in no way trying to do this. I just want to have access to all the songs that I own on all my machines. I want to listen to songs that I have legitimately purchased on my work machine as well as on my iPhone, my iPad and my home iMac. Surely this is not too much to ask? C'mon apple!! Can't you find a way to either link/merge my two accounts or to verify that they both belong to the same person so I don't run into this problem? I don't think I should have to wait 3 months to get access to songs I have purchased!

You must setup a new account on a Mac or an iDevice, then you can sign in from a PC. You cannot create a new iCloud account using Windows.

Apple Mail and Address Book ?s from Eurdora

Just switching my wife to Apple Mail from Eudora (I still use Eudora so I'm not familiar with Eudora at all).
At any rate, after import her Eudora "Out" box is listed under "Import". Shouldn't those messages all be in "Sent" in Mail?
Also, can one get rid of Import and just have a listing of mailboxes or does one need a title for their mailboxes?
BTW, my wife uses POP.
Does it matter if email addresses from Eudora stay in one folder in the Address Book in the way they were imported?

No. Imported mailboxes appear as separate custom mailboxes under an Import folder and don’t overwrite any already existing mailboxes, as they should.

Yes. You can move any messages to any mailbox you wish and delete any mailbox that appears in Mail with a generic folder icon, but using the account’s Inbox and Sent mailboxes for archiving purposes is a bad idea — see Overstuffed mailbox is unexpectedly empty.

Yes, you can certainly create a new Apple ID at appleid.apple.com (which will have to be associated with a different email address from your current ID) and then change the various settings and applications on one of your iPhones to use this new ID.

His Apple ID doesnt work and cant be accessed as it now says it is disabled. I have tried the iforgot.apple.com website without success and have no idea how to rectify. I have requested a password change to his email address but that is not working either.

That sounds confusing. First off, don't be too worried. There's practically no way to actually delete an Apple ID or it's purchase history. You should be able to get to it back somehow. Secondly, that's likely something that you'll need to talk to a real person on the phone for since it likely requires you to explain that you need access on behalf of your son, (who probably just set some security questions or an email address that you didn't know he put in.) Just call the appropriate AppleCare phone line (800-APL-CARE in the USA, or see the link below for other countries) and tell them you want to talk about an iCloud account security question.

I took it off my ATT plan...but now in order for him to use it I have to know the apple id and password to remove it from the account. Sooo...I was able to get into the old email account by webmail...I changed the password and the email address. Now it still says its hooked to that old email address except now...that old email address is no long an apple ID. HELLLPPP!

If you have had unexpected charges on your Apple ID, you need to contact Apple. Your Apple ID has probably been hacked. Apple can reverse the charges.

Apple Script and MS Word Help needed for an AppleScript Newbie

I am a school teacher. I have to use a Windows program called Report Complete to write school reports on each child. After each report is written it is then exported from Report Complete into MS Word. However, after this process somehow the Language within Word is set to none, and the Spelling and Grammar check is switched off. Which is very inconvenient because it means that for each school report I have to set the language and turn on the S&G Check before I can proof read.
So...is there any way I can collect a batch of say 30 school reports (saved as Word97-2004 docs - not docx) into a folder, and run a script so that MS Word 2008 opens and the language and grammar check are set to English UK and on respectively? I would really appreciate it if someone could write the script for me!

Sorry, you have an Android based smartphone - not an iPhone. iPhones are made by Apple.
And no, itunes nor Apps from the Apple App store will work on your phone.
Find the Android marketplace on your phone to download apps. There are other music management programs that will work with Android.
