Hi brand new to apple and bought an ipad2 but can't sync with my itunes on a windows pc -- suggestions?
Day one of new Ipad2 and never used apple before (except ipod and itunes) and my new ipad2 is not syncing my music from a windows based pc with itunes - suggestions?

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one. Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

iv just bought a new laptop, i am trying to sync my songs on my iphone to my itunes, but it says it can only be sync with 1 itunes, any way around this?
The iPhone like all iDevices is not a storage device, it is merely a mirror of the content in the library to which it is synced.
If you wish to sync to a new computer, the first step is to copy or move the iTunes media library from the old computer to the new computer. This can be done via the network or by using an external hard drive.
Once the library has been moved, simply sync to the new computer. -
How Many devices can I sync with my iPhone? I own a Mac PRO and an iMAC. Depends on where I am, I will plug my iPhone to either of the machines. I haven't sync with either machine yet.

There's not much to explain. When a device is connected, you see the row of different categories across the top: Summary, Info, Apps, Tones, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Books, and Photos. For example, it is perfectly safe to sync one iOS device to the Music category on Computer A and no other computer, and the same device to Photos on Computer B and no other computer.
You might be confusing what I'm saying with one iOS device enabling sync to the Music library on multiple computers. That is a huge no-no and will result in the disaster being suggested. It turns out that exclusivity at the category level, not the computer level, is what really matters.

I will agree that it is something you should only do mindfully. But if you do make sure each category is syncing to only one device, there will be no data loss and no mess. -

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?
Have you successfully synced from this iTunes library/computer before?
If so have you done anything like update iTunes on the computer since it last successfully synced?
Do the songs play in iTunes?
Does any media now sync to the iPod?
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?

I had a iPhone 4 and then got a new computer, I installed iTunes to it but my new computer refused to sync with my phone, i backed up my phone via icloud and purchased tracks etc from iTunes, but now i have a new iPhone 5C and I backed it up via the icloud, not all data was transfered, music etc.
Again my computer will not sync with the new phone, it doesnt see the phone within my libary, doesn't give an option to do any thing with phone

Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
To save the photographs you may have to use third party software. Google is your friend. -
Why are all my songs greyed out on my I Phone after I recently ugraded to 5.0.1?

My iPod touch is no longer recording voice memos. It worked for a while, then I synced it with my computer. Now it no longer works. I bought this for the main purpose of recording, and it no longer does this. It responds like it is recording, i.e. the needle moves in response to sound, but nothing is saved, and when I try to see the list of memos on the iPod by touching the correct button, absolutely nothing happens.
Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

New computer, itunes picked up my music, but can't sync with my nano
Old computer died. We moved the old music to the new computer and downloaded itunes. It picked up all of the music/pod casts ect. no playlists though. Put my nano on and it picks it up but won't let me move my newly purchased songs to it or move my playlists from my nano to the my itunes?? Is it a syncing problem? I am not sure i really want to completely sync since my playlists are still nicely organized on my nano. anyone have any help?

New MBPro...airport connection established but can not connect to the internet...help! suggestions?
Hi all, trying to set up my MBPro...seems to be connecting to my AirPort Base Station w/out any troubles...but when I try to get online I'm getting a "can't connect to the Internet" message. I checked my network settings, restarted multiple times, etc. No luck. Seems to be a problem with the IP address (I think)...but not sure how to resolve it. I have an iMac and iPhone in the house that are able to connect and get online w/out issues. Any thoughts? TY!!
Are you asking the make/model of the computer or the AX base station?
Neither, I was interested in the make/model of the cable modem.
Our ethernet connection was fried in an electrical storm so we had to go wireless.
Electrical storms are never a good thing when it comes to electronics. What was/is your current network configuration? Is it something like the following?
Cable modem > (Ethernet cable) > AX > (wireless) > wireless devices
Is there another router, other than the AX, in the configuration? ... or an Ethernet switch? I'm just trying to understand your network to best advise you on how to configure the AX. -

My ipod and iphone 4s will not erase or sync with my new computer.
My phone was loaded from this computer when I got it replaced because the last one was defective. They will not load, unload, or anything. This is frustrating because before the most recent rounds of updates and "fixes," I never had problems and knew where everything was.
It is not a problem with my library being different, because I just moved the library over from my old computer to the new when I got it using my external hard drive and literally just took iTunes and the music, books, etc over at one time.
Edit: Checking or unchecking the manual management of the library, full sync, and/or partial sync has no effect either. When I work on trying to make them sync, the computer shows- under the "on this ipod" section- that there is nothing there, but the ipod/phone disagrees and still has everything.You can only sync with one computer. If all synced media like apps and music are already on the second computer then just backup the iPod to the second computer and restore from that backup

You can only sync with one iTunes library. If you sync with another one the iPod will be erased and its contents replaced with what is in the library of the second computer.
However, you can manage music among multiple computers. See:

I have done absalutely nothing to my 4g apple ipod touch, and it over heats, won't hold a charge, and the front camera will not work. I bought this brand new in december, and i've barely used it. I've tried restarting it and everything, I honestly think this is out raging because i spend over $200 on this. To have for music and instagram. I use it about an hour a day, but i've only been using it for about 3 months although i've had it since December. Any suggestions that may help me?
