Hi can anyone tell me about SAF for  solutiondatabase in icwc

Hi ,
Can anyone tell me about how to configure SAF  for the solution database in ICWC.What are the steps required to customize the enterprise intelligence for SAF for useing solution/knowledge  database in CRM.
Harish rentla

Hi
upon setting up SAF in the enterprise intelligence area you need to create the subject profile for the solution database for the maintanence of problems and solutions with the damage code location code and reasons codes and you need to do full indexing for the SDB for problems and solutions after pairing (joining)the 1 problem with one solution. you can access TREXADMIN transaction type for the trex config settings to view the index table status.
Trex RFC connectivity needs to be established between SAP and CRM systems then only you can use the wizard for the SAF tool to customise
please do reward points if helpful

  • Can anyone tell me about 5700 fan power

    i will upgrade my pc 5700.but everyone is talkin about heat sink and something about temp.so if the fan is not good enogh.what il do then or can anyone tell me about it plz im really pissed off and i dont know what to do.

    AOpen 250watts is simply too weak to handle a High End card like this, not even mentioning to handle a P4 2.4B GHz CPU and a NEO2 mobo with 1 stick of 512MB DDR 333 RAM stablely...
    I know that it's just simply too weak for the P4s now combo with a FX5600 series and above.
    Post your PSU specs which is labelled to the PSU for a better understanding.
    No Offence here, just stating the facts only .

  • Can anyone tell me about BAdi customizing in simple terms?

    Hi friends,
      Can anyone tell me about BAdi customizing in simple terms? I need it a bit urgently.
    Thanks in advance.
    cheers,
      Joy

    BADIs are known as Business Add-Ins. They are enhancements to the standard version of the SAP system. The application developer creates an interface for the add-in. From this, enhancement management creates an adapter class that implements the interface and thus provides the interface for implementation by the customer, partner, and so on. The developer then creates an instance of the adapter class in the application program and calls the corresponding method at the appropriate time. Enhancement gives SAP customers the ability to adapt SAP to suit specific requirements. It does not require a modification to standard code and code will not be overwritten during the upgrade.
    In SAP, Business Add-Ins, Customer Exits and User Exists are used for enhancements.
    Customer Exits provide predefined exit points from SAP source code, enabling you to insert your own code and locally enhance a standard application without having to get into SAP application logic.
    SAP creates user exits for specific programs, screens, and menus within standard R/3 applications. These exits do not contain any functionality.
    An application developer who wishes to have a Business Add-In in a particular program defines the interface for an enhancement in the Business Add-In Builder. In the following step, he or she programs the interface call in the application program at the appropriate place. Customers can then select the add-in and implement it according to their needs.
    The Business Add-In enhancement technique differentiates between enhancements that can only be implemented once and enhancements that can be used actively by any number of customers at the same time. In addition, Business Add-Ins can be defined according to filter values. This allows you to differentiate between Add-In implementations using the filter Country or other criteria.
    BADIs are Object Oriented techniques used for enhancements and nowadays they are widely used as a replacement for Customer exits. BADIs are predefined exit points in a source that allow developers to either insert their own logic during implementation or simply adopt one of the standard supplemental solutions provided by SAP.
    A single Business Add-In contains all of the interfaces necessary to implement a specific task implementation. All ABAP sources, screens, GUIs, and table interfaces created using this enhancement technique are defined in a manner that allows customers to include their own enhancements in the standard.
    Normally BADIs will be available within the standard programs and when we need some enhancements or if there is a change request made by the customer in the functionality, BADIs or Customer exits are used.
    Types of Business Add-Ins:
    u2022     Multiple use BADIs.
    u2022     Filter dependant BADIs.
    From SAP menu Tools-> ABAP Workbench-> Utilities-> Business Add-Ins-> SE18 u2013 Definition or else use SE18 (T-code).

  • Can anyone tell me about expiry dates for iTunes cards?

    I thought that they expired either one or two years after the most recent use. Since the update to the site, I am no longer able to find either the T&Cs for iTunes cards, or details of expiry dates in My Account. Can anyone tell me where to get this info?  Thanks.

    iTunes cards do not have an expiration date.  And, once you redeem them, they create a credit balance in your account, which also does not exprire.
    However, nobody can guarantee that this will be permanent, so it would be best not to let them sit around for years.

  • Can Anyone Tell Me About My Fe0/0 & 0/1 Ports please ?

    Hi ...
    I have been trying to set up my router for virgin broadband using Fe0/0 for the internet and 0/1 for the internal lan but the trouble i have is even though i have set up the ports and enabled them etc .. i still cant get the lan to work on the internet.
    One thing i have noticed is that Fe0/0 will work on dhcp and will get the ip adress from the modem my Fe0/1 will not do dhcp even though it has been set to dhcp.
    when you look at the interfaces it shows fe0/0 is dhcp but fe0/1 is nvram ??
    can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong here as i have set ip route etc and gateway is set but why no dhcp on fe 0/1 ?
    many thanks in advance

    Ok ... now i have figured it out .. maybe ??
    Both ports would operate dhcp if they was to receive an ip address from something providing one ...
    which i suppose is the reason why i got an ip from my cable modem ... so all is fine there ...
    The reason i am not getting the same from the fe0/1 port is because there is no dhcp server on my lan so it will not get one from anywhere ? im thinking ... so if im wrong please correct me
    Thus having to supply a static ip for the fe0/1 meaning any other device would also have to be static on that same lan ??
    And the problem of ip interface brief showing 0/0 on dhcp and 0/1 being nvram is due to the config not being saved and the router not being restarted for the settings to change ?
    All well and good ... but i need to make my lan on fe0/1 work with my internet on fe0/0 so does that mean i have to set up a Vlan between the two ports ?
    Thanks in advance

  • Can anyone tell me about the Training Function?

    Hi, friends
    I am a fresh man learning Siebel and I find very little information about the training function in Bookself. Can you tell me where I can find the related information?
    thanks.

    Hi,
    what kind of treinament you find? A techical/functional treinament, a user application treinament.
    If techinal treinament, the bookshelf is the better document to find information. You can use the forum, sites and Oracle Metalink to find you doubts.
    If user application treinament, where user use the application and find about how to execute a process, you can use IHelp or your company can use Oracle UPK (User Productivity Key). You can create treinament in this tool and your users can acess the treinaments.
    Regards.

  • OT- Can anyone tell me about these guitars (please own one!)

    I am interested in anyone's personal experience with the following guitars while using Logic Studio:
    TAYLOR T3
    GODIN Multiac Spectrum Series Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar (yes, I know that it also requires the Roland GI-20 interface)
    Of course, I am also interested the the technical issues, if any, when using the Godin with the Roland processor.
    Thank you very much.

    I have used the Godin with my GI-20 interface. I was very impressed with the way it handled all the Logic synths. The only reason I don't own one is that the fingerboard is designed for rock/folk guitarists & I am a classical, flamenco, lute player. Consequently I need a much wider fingerboard. That is why I had my electric/synth guitar made for me.
    If you can handle the Godin's fingerboard, buy one.

  • Can anyone tell me about Connection Pools???

    Hi,
    Is there a freely downloadable Connection Pool implementation available on the net? I need it specifically for Oracle databases... This is for a prod environment and am looking for a stable implementation... Any good information/links is most appreciated.
    Thanks
    Prowzen

    Hi,
    I actually implemented it long time back. This is a best case to implement the Singleton Pattern. Just to give an idea, here is how it goes. I'll try to post the code too but cannot guarantee it right now.
    Basically the Pool information like the database, userid, password, SID etc. should be configurable through a properties file as you are saying that it is a production environment.
    1. Implement your Connection Pool as a Singleton class that has methods like init, getConnection, releaseConnection, createConnection etc. Have private member - a java.util.Vector of java.sql.Connection objects.
    2. Anyone who wants to use the connection pool gets an instance with the getInstance method which will call init method.
    3. The init should read the properties file and get the necessary details. Then create required number of connections and put them in the Vector of connections (pool). You are good to go now. Ideally this should all be done at the startup of the whole Application.
    4. Each client will call the getConnection method of the Singleton. The getConnection should Synchronize the Vector and remove the connection at index 0 of the pool (vector) and return it.
    i.e. public java.sql.Connection getConnection ()
    //wait until someone notifies me after returning a connection back to the pool
    if(connectionPool_.size() == 0)
    wait();
    Connection con = null;
    synchronized(connectionPool_)
    con = (Connection)connectionPool_.elementAt(0);
    connectionPool_.removeElementAt(0);
    return con;
    5. Each client SHOULD call the releaseConnection method of the Singleton once it is done using the connection. The releaseConnection should Synchronize the Vector and add the connection back to the pool.
    So, basically the connections in the pool will be used in a Round-Robin Fashion.
    i.e. public void releaseConnection (java.util.Connection con)
    connectionPool_.addElement(con);
    //Notify all the waiting Clients. Let JVM decide who gets the connection.
    notifyAll();
    return con;
    This is the core logic of what I had written. But there are lot of other cases that you need to consider to write robust code like Lost Connections, when you need to throw that connection away from the pool and add a new one. This is more so significant in busy databases configured to timeout inactive connections. I used to have a low priority thread kicked off at the start along with this main pool that would wake up around 4 or 5 in the night and replenish all the connections in the pool so that it will be good to go for one more day before it gets replenished again. Of course, in such a case, the clients have to have a retry mechanism in case you don't respond in reasonable amount of time while replenishing the connection pool.
    Hope this helps.
    Amar.
