I need to download NVivo 10 for my studies. The MAC version at present does not have all the funstionalities that the PC version has. Does anyone know when the MAC version will be fully functional to match PC version? I am probably in the wrong section for this question so if you know where it would sit best let me know?

I have the same problem. After the upgrade, my wifi is greyed out, and the battery won't hold a charge long. I reset all the settings, tried all the things suggested by Apple, but it didn't work. I took the phone to Verizon, but they said they can't fix it, go to Apple
I made an appointment at the Genius bar, where the staff was incredibly rude and dismissive. A representative told me that the wi-fi is broken and I would need to buy a new phone for $200, because mine is out of warranty. I'm due for an upgrade in a few months, so I'm not going to pay $200 for another 4S now. I'm also not going to buy any more Apple products. Their upgrade caused this problem, and they are not standing behind their producet.

Does anyone know when Verizon will offer 5.0 for the 8330?

I'd really like to get away from 4.5. I have 4.7 on my company BB (T-Mobile 8900) and like it much better, but from reading about 5.0 I think I will like it even better yet. Unfortunately 4.5 is the only OS listed on Verizon's page for the 8330. Does anyone know when they will release 5.0? From everything I've read they are going to, but I'd like to know if I should expect a 6 week wait or a 2 year wait...

At the top, one of the stickies is a thread that Xandrex keeps updated with current versions of device OS's from each carrier (that he has information on, of course). I haven't waded through that thread (it's pretty long), but he might have a table for your model, which would guide you to where various carriers stand with release levels.
If you find that a carrier has sanctioned a device OS you want, you can usually get it from them via their DL site via this portal:
http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
Then you can use these instructions to use it (don't mind that the instructions are for the Storm -- the process is the same I think):

I assume you mean iOS 6. The only official statement has been that it is coming "later this fall". In the meantime, if you want to mass delete email you can always go to the webmail site for your email account and delete them there.

Does anyone know when Aperture will be able to provide RAW support for the Nikon 1 J3 ?

I have just bought Aperture to support my new camera, a Nikon 1 J3. I then discovered that this is not one of the Nikon camereas yet supported by Aperture for RAW format pictures.
Does anyone know when this may be addressed in a later version of Aperture?

Thanks very much for your help. I see from the discussion threads on this that I am not alone!
I will be visiting my local Apple Store today to see if they know when my camera will be fully supported.
I got it through Cutio in Germany and the instructions were in German which I learnt at school - which is great for travel and holidays but not for reading technical manuals!

Does anyone know when CS6 will be released for the rest of us?

There are a large group of people who STILL haven't got CS6 - even though we pre-ordered and prepaid for it. I'm referring to all the people who upgraded to CS5.5 to get CS6 when it came out.
At the time of ordering Adobe said that by purchasing CS5.5 we would get CS6 'when it became available'. That was a few weeks ago now. When nothing happened we went searching and found in the FAQs that we would be able to download it 'approximately 10 days after it was released'. No reason was given for having to wait. Adobe had our money so there was no reason to not let us download it.
Now, 14 days later, and there's still nothing from Adobe. So does anyone know what is going on at Adobe.
Adobe do not seem to understand the whole concept of pre-paying or pre-ordering something. People pre-pay/pre-order so that they can get something as soon as it is available. It should put you at the front of the line when something is released - but Adobe managed to completely screw that up by taking our money up front and then putting us right to the back of the line!
And in case anyone is wondering - no, none of us wanted CS5.5. It was just a way, offered by Adobe, of upgrading to CS6.

It has been almost six months now since the iPhone 5 and the iTouch 5th Generation were released and I am still unable to find new iHomes with the 8 pin docks. I refuse to buy the adaptor because it will be too unstable on my current iHome but I also refuse to buy a more stable iHome with the old dock. Does anyone know if/when they will be releasing iHomes explicitly for the iPhone 5 and the iTouch 5th generation?

Does anyone know when there will be Camera Raw Support in Lightroom 3 for the Olympus E-PL2?

Just bought the Olympus E-PL2, shot some test shots and came home to open my RAW files to view them and discovered that they won't open in lightroom because the .ORF files for the E-PL@ are not supported. I figured since the E-PL1 was supported this would be too.There are some minor differences between the two like base ISO, etc. I am new to RAW and notices that E-PL1 users experienced the same thing when it first came out. How long does it usually take for Adobe to get new cameras compatible with Camera Raw? The camera is very popular and I imagine people will want to use the program to process their files. Will that speed up Adobe's process? And in the mean time, does anyone have any suggestions on what program I can use to open my .ORF raw files?

It isn't a plug in. It is a tool that allows you to read and write to the Exif data. See the web site for how to use
Keep a copy of your original files. It doesn't cause any problems changing the camera maker name.Usually this is the only thing that has actually changed between each version of the same camera in the RAW file. However until this has been checked by ADobe and they have created a specific colour calibration it Adobe don't support the format. This does not prevent you hacking the format as long as you understand what you are doing and that you keep original copies to import once Adobe support it
If manufacturers used DNG there would be no problems, but until they do you may have to wait for up to three months for Adobe support. However Adobe do usually issue a RC of the next version of LR and ACR before the full update, that may be any time now. Certainly there is a beta version that includes support for this camera as it has been used by reviewers

Does anyone know when VERIZON will allow TELENAV for it's droid phones?

I've read that Blackberry users with Verizon are able to use Telenav. After experiencing Telenav with T-mobile, google nav is nothing in comparison. It has far less options and is far less user friendly. And don't suggest VZ Nav. Everyone knows how much that navigator sucks. Telenav costs the same as VZ Nav and is far superior. Is there a ray of hope in the future? Or do I need to go back to T-mobile? There's a reason all the other wireless providers have Telenav available.

HT5717 Our company had to remove this Java for OS 2013-004 upgrade because it broke all of our Java installers. Does anyone know when Apple will solve this new problem?

People at our company installed the latest Java for OSX 2013-004 1.0 Apple Update and all of our software installers failed to run anymore. The only way to kill the installer was Apple Menu -> Force Quit after that. We all had to downgrade to Java for OSX 2013-003 to work.

I have heard problems with that update. Unfortunately, we don't know when an update will be available. Apple often releases Java updates at the same time as Oracle, but we don't know more things

Does anyone know when Match will be available in Denmark?

According to KODA's facebook page KODA and Apple reached an agreement back in December 2012 so I am wondering why Match still isn't available in Denmark. Does anyone have a clue what's happening? Does anyone know when Orange will update firmware?

I've tried to speak to tech people at Orange a few times, most don't even know what firmware is. My N95 is still on V11 and compared to friends phones on other networks running V20 my phone is a poor relation. I just cannot get an answer out of Orange.

It depends on country and product code. v13 seems to be available for some UK product codes but not all. Orange are very inconsistent like that.
You could try to take the issue up with orange again but you will likely get nowhere and they will just blame nokia.
A nokia care point may be able to help you get a newer version but you will have to discuss it with them.
