The downloaded Captivate files has 2 parts - One with .7z extension and the other with .exe extension.
Please run the .exe file to initiate the installation.
Alternatively can try re-downloading both the files from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-captivate-7-free-trial-direct-download -links.html
Please make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download. -
2960 does not start on every first attempt

I have a Cisco 2960 PoE-24 that every time I connect the power cable for the first time (after a long pause) it freezes with the System Light on and not blinking and not giving anything in the console.

I am afraid this is a hardware fault. It could be many things - a faulty power supply, a cold solder joint, a capacitor at the end of its lifetime, an IC slowly dying... I do not think this is a software issue, as even with totally removed IOS, the switch would at least end up sitting in the bootloader prompt. If you say that the switch remains completely silent on its console since the very moment it is plugged into mains then it means that even the bootloader code is not executed properly.
I am sorry to disappoint you. Perhaps someone else would have an idea what else to try out but as far as I can tell, the switch does not behave reliably and is probably due to be replaced.

Adobe Muse Hide Adobe Muse Does Not Work
I have noticed that choosing Adobe Muse > Hide Adobe Muse does not hide the program. The program remains but goes in the background and another program comes forward.
Okay, I just checked and the issue seems reproducible at our end as well on version 10.8.x.
We have logged a Bug for same and you might see it fixed in future releases of Adobe Muse or an AIR update if theissue is related to Adobe AIR.
Unfortunately we do not have a good workaround for you as of now. However I would suggest you to use Command+Tab key cobination to browse through the running applications so that you can use the other applications with Muse.

Been using an Avastor HDX-800 for storage and backup, also a SUPERDISK for smaller stuff; recently the SUPERDISK does not appear on the screen, and the light blinks while you hear it spin, also the Avastor has started to have the same problem, both USB conncected, both worked well before, but both now spinning, blinking, and not showing up on the screen as before,
Interestingly they both appear in the System Profiler, but just not working the same as before
I have tried other USB ports, but the same responce,yes I did reset the PRAM, but no benefit, still the same problem
my usb devices are: keyboard, mouse, printer, SD-USB-M3, and LaCie d2 DVDRW:

You have to update AA XI to work with AA 2013. You may also have to open the OFFICE tools and enable the add-ons. There is no tool in some of the OFFICE applications. You can check the list in the PDF Maker folder in Acrobat.

For pop ups. From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab.
Select: Block pop-up windows
safari starts always with top page even I have apple.com as a starting window
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the General tab. You can reset your homepage from there.

That icon represents your Bookmarks not history.
To view history, from your Safari menu bar click History > Show History

But I was havingproblems and sudden blackouts System 32. Try several times to install theoperating system but the pc turned off suddenly and restarted until I stop working completely. Now it does nothing and no light. I hope it can help me I need torespect and love very much this notebook.

[email protected]Turn off your laptop, unplug all wires, remove the battery, and hold the power button for thirty seconds. Afterwards, reattach the battery and connections. If it still won't start, remove the battery and start with just the AC power. Next try without the AC power and just the battery.

i just update my iphone 4s to ios 7.0.4 and update my macbook pro to ios maveric. I just received a new laptop running windows 7 home premium and wanted to install Firefox on it. I tried to install the most recent version. When i installed 6.0.2, the icon did not appear on my desktop (it was a hidden file in my desktop folder) and the program group does not appear in the start menu's All Programs list. The program *does* run though, at least it did a few times. This happened whether i installed as administrator or not. Installing firefox 3.6.22, though, DID create the program group and desktop icon, and upgrading from there removed them again. installing other programs (e.g. vlc, trillian, etc.) did not cause this behavior. I also tried this both with and without McAfee's realtime protection running.
Some people have found that an app (usually iBooks for some reason) hasn't appeared on a homescreen until after the iPad has been reset and has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Also depending on what the app is have you got an age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding it ? -

I installed trial version of Adobe muse (latest version). I click on "effect" link on top. But I can only see 3 option Shadow, Bevel, Glow. 4th option "Motion scroll" is missing. Can some tell me what's wrong with it? I tried to re-install it around 5 times, but it is still same. Please help me.Scroll effect is same "Scroll motion" just renamed & added some more features.
