Hi, friends:
I have a question:
I used EMCA to creat a new OMS repository for OEM on the server, also I can see the new repository is successfully created. but, when I try to login from my terminal OEM interface(ask about username and password), it says that I don't have right credentials???
when I creat the repository, I creat three user names: one is for OMS, one for SYS, one for SYSTEM.
I even tried all that, no one works.
It is so strange, is there any friend can help me something???

Ive just registered with this forum and have been reading all the messages and find everything very interesting. I know you probably have all heard the same questions before and I am really sorry for asking them again but I just need to clear some things up in my head. Before I ask the question I just need use all to know that Im far from a computer expert so pretty please dont go into to much technical detail. This is actually the 1st computer I built myself. (Everyone I come accross in the desing world is G5 Mac this and G5 Mac that, so thought I would build a system that matching the G5). My questions are:-
1) When I had finished building the comp I remember CoreCentre showing a reading of 3600 (the multiplier was sitting on 20 i think!!!) yet I can get nowhere near that now. The highest I can get is 1760, 220x8 mhz. Has anyone else experienced this?
2) If my processors are 1.6 ghz why is the lowest reading not 3600 mhz? This really confuses me and makes me believe that only 1 processor is doing its job. But I know that cant be it because at startup its states 2 cpu's and when I press ctr+alt+delete there are 2 cpu boxes. Is it a problem with corecentre?
3) Can i, and if so, where and how can i increase the multiplier? When I was installing something big(think is was final cut studio) the multiplier went upto x9 but that was it.
4) I think this is most important, I only have the BIOS version that came with instalation cd. I have ran LiveUpdate and doesnt show anything under the BIOS bitty. Where can I find out what bios version I have? Im quessing I have version 1.0 and from reading this forum for a week and working up enough courage to create my first post, I noticed people talking about version 1.4. the BIOS sound pretty important so can someone email me the newest version and a dummies guide to installing(if thats what its called lol) it. Hi,
You need to remove CoreCenter and install CoreCenterPro, those are different versions.
As for the multiplier, that can't be upped with Opterons and the current BIOS'ses won't even allow you to change it at all.
Maybe the upcomming 1.4 BIOS will change that, but I'm not sure as I didn't see the feature in BIOS 1.4B7.
Anyway, stay away from the 1.4x BIOS'ses at the moment, as most will render the board dead.
At the moment overclocking the Opterons on this board isn't possible.
I can't even do much with my FX-51 as the BIOS doesn't have those features.
It might change when MSI release the final 1.4 BIOS, but the latest beta still has many buggs.

Questions about a custom login page.

Could someone give me an example of a custom login page that does the error checking with
p_error_code. I can't seem to get one to work correctly. I don't ever get any info in
p_error_code when there is an error in login.

Question about discussion forum login

I don't know where else to post this, and I realize it is a dumb question, but here it is anyway.
When I log onto the discussion forum, I get an error message. I am able to continue, by just clicking on the "discussion" link at the top of the page, so it is not a major problem, but I'm curious why for the last month and a half I've been receiving this error message every time I sign on.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Yep, I get that too. After I login I go to my Bookmarks where I have 5 forums and then, at the bottom, I "open in tabs." They all come up logged in. :~) So use bookmark or history to go straight to where you want.

My sapscript have one page and next page is the same as the first page, the page have two window, a var window and a main window, in the main window there is a command at the top that is "/: BOX FRAME 10 TW". and when I preview the form there is two page and in page 1 there is frame but the next page doesn't have frame, I don't know why, can anyone tell me why? thank you in advance!

The box will not be carried by the main window to the other page this is because, the main window will be having the changing content, and as we define the main window only once the box appears only once. the remaining data in the main window will increase according to the content in it. so prepare your box in a variable window and define it in all the pages so your box will be coming in all the pages. overlay the variable window on the main window. with the same size..

Hi everyone ! Question about a magazine in Pages for Printing in press printing

Hello all Pages users !,
I am really strugling with trying to learn, comprehend and use InDesign CS5 for a future free give-away 60 or 62 pages magazine.
I do understand and manage quite well apple 's PAGES for normal regular brochures and flyers use.
I truly need some advices regarding my project, as while being at ease with the use of Pages, there are some specific points I need
to make sure will work out when finally sending a pre-press and final PDF to my printer's house.
1/ How to set the necessary margins, bleed, trim, gutter and middle flat squre binding spin ?
2/ Will there be problems if I import pre-vectorized images/texts with transparent background (i.e. in PNG format)
3/ Should I only import CMYK photos from my photoshop instead of RGB ?
4/ Is there a specific setting for all the facing pages (let/right) and numbering them ?
5/ Once done, can I export the final PDF file to any Abode reliable PDF handler to secure and ensure all settings, colors and trim areas
will be perfect for press printing, and what would you guys kindly recommend ?
I know these are various and complicated questions and issues, but before venturing into PAges for my magazine set up, layout and
complete work, I would preferably ensure that it is possible to get a correct nice color magazine done in Pages instead of venturing
in the Highly professional very complicated inDesign software .

The person as always best able to answer your questions is the printer who will be printing your magazine.
They may be an exception but I doubt they will be happy with you doing it in Pages.
Pages is designed for output to your desktop printer. There are a string of issues to do with preparing a print job for commercial printing that Pages is either ill-equiped or plain just unable to manage.
If you say you are struggling with Indesign which is designed to manage all aspects of commercial printing, what makes you think that choosing a program that isn't will improve matters?
1. Pages does not have crops, bleeds or slugs. You can however manually construct these yourself with sufficient work.
2. Pages has no tools to help you manage your output, ensure that black only text/objects are black only, that resolution is high enough, that its unique objects such as frames pass through the printer's RIP correctly.
3. By default Pages produces exceptionally low resolution transparency (only 72dpi) for shadows, reflections, 3d graphs, frames and transparency overlaying bitmaps in exported pdfs.
4. Ask your printer whether he can fix trapping in his RIP because Pages doesn't.
5. You can DL and install certain print workflows that will correct some of these but will still not get correct pdf-X3 that printers require.
6. You can not bypass output through Apple's problematic print engine, even though fruhulda's link thinks he has.
7. OSX can not make spot color objects, although spot color already in pdf objects brought into Pages should (not guarranteed) be honored.
8. I don't know what you mean by pre-vectorized images because png is rgb bitmap only and does not contain vectors nor text. I think you might mean pre-rasterised, not a good idea.
9. You will assume command of the Good Ship Pages and all who sail in her, the printer will probably hand all responsibility for output to you. You get to pay no matter what happens. Good luck.
In summary, if you are uncomfortable with and don't know how to handle pre-press settings and requirements, I suggest you do not, and instead hand the job over to a professional to produce and manage for you.
Finding out that you do not have what it takes to print commercially, can be a very expensive and salutory experience. Printers will find it hard to say no to you despite their apprehension, but then it will be your baby.

You don't. Email comes in either by push or when you invoke the email app. Ther is no password except when you first set up the account. If your iPad is not being used as your personal device and you need to shield emails from other users, then don't use the email app. Instead, use web mail if available from your provider.

Question about Everyone Group in SharePoint 2013

Hi,
I have couple of question about EVERYONE group below,
         - As per the best practice which Group we should use instead of EVERYONE group in Sharepoint ?
         - What is the difference between Everyone and All Authenticated Users Group
We have added Everyone Group in different sites, now the question is if we hide this group showing up in sharepoint people picker, is there any impact interms of current site?
         - Is there any way we can hide Everyone group showing up in the people picker only for the site / Site Collection level.

There is no functional difference between the Everyone group and All Authenticated Users (after Active Directory has been upgraded to Server 2003 native schema).
I'm not aware of any function to hide the group from the People Picker.

Question about repository

Hi
I have some questions about repositories and if anyone could answer IÂ´ll be very grateful.
What does it contains? Data or objects without data?
How does it works together with a database, I mean, when there is a DML sentence where are those changes apply? In the database, in the repository, both...
The first time you install a repository how can you insert data on it, I mean do you have to import objects from the schemas, you donÂ´t have to do it if both are in the same database...
And If any of you knows a good guide or any doc to learn more about the uses of a repository with an oracle database please tell me.

Oracle Designer is a CASE tool, that is, a tool for capturing and analysing requirements, designing a system and (optionally) generating it. This is all data, which is stored in the repository. Think of it as any other application.
Once analyzed, designed and modelled the deployed application will run against some other database not the repository.
I mean, do I have to do the changes on the database or in the designer toolsAs a DBA I would not expect you normally to touch the repository, except for the usual things (checking tablespace growth, etc). Are you also supposed to be the Repository administrator?
Anyway, the data model and integrity rules in the respository are very complicated and you do not want to tool around with SQL in the repository; use the Designer tools. Howvever, Oracle do provide a suite of PL/SQL packages - teh Repository API - which do allow us to manipulate the data programmatically. This can be very handy when we need to do reetitive tasks on a large number of elements.

:welcome:So As I've stated I'm new here, or at least got a new MSI notebook.
Ive got the new MSI gt60 0ND with 750GB HD and 675 Ge-Force GTX , anyways to the bottom line.
I would like to Upgrade my computer with SSD that I bought and install the win8 on it, in order to speed things up, but I have encountered a few problems..
1. there is no sticker on the back of the computer that gives information about the serial number of my windows 8...
2. lets say in some magical way I could get the serial number out, can I use it to reinstall ? because Ive heard that you cannot use this CD key anyways unless you got a special win8 installation CD key from MSI because its MSI branded windows 8.
am I screwed ? ?? ? I thought it is possible to upgrade with SSD but it seems like MSI made it very hard, I do not understand why they even putted the warranty void sticker on the expansion bay's .... WEIRD..

I think serial key of windows is in your bios which you cannot See however it should be automatically activates windows

OT: question about multiple root directories

ok, so on this website i just transferred to a new host, i
password
protected a directory, and for many people (possibly
everyone) it is
asking for the login info twice or three times before it lets
you in. i
contacted the host tech support, who gave me an explanation
that i don't
think makes sense. or maybe it does, but i don't think
applies to my
problem. and even if it does, they didn't offer any advice on
how to
solve the problem, just what might be causing it. bad tech
support.
anyway, i had a different idea about what the might be. there
are two
root directories on the server: public_html and www. they
both have the
same files, and therefore my protected directory is protected
in both
places. to me, that seems like it could be why it's asking
for login
info more than once.
so, i want to find out if this is the case by deleting the
one i'm not
uploading to. so basically, my question is, if i have chosen
public_html
as the directory that i upload to, is it safe to delete the
www
directory? or is there a reason that i need two root
directories and,
essentially, two copies of my site on the server?
i realize these are probably questions best suited for my
host, but i'm
unimpressed with their tech support so far (though i like
everything
else about them), and i'm confident that someone here will be
able to
answer this question for me.

at first i thought that didn't make any sense because i've
been using
the same url every time. but after paying closer attention
during the
login process, i see that he's right. i've been typing in the
url with
the www, but once you get logged in, there is no www. so i
tried typing
it in without the www, and i got right in with the first
attempt.
so, i suppose my question now is, can i make it so that
typing in the
url with the www, lets you in on the first login attempt? or
should i
just tell everyone to leave out the www?

Few common questions about Mobile Forms

I have a few questions about mobile forms:
Can a form be integrated with a portal, which is build NOT on Adobe CQ\AEM technology?
I've created a form and loaded it to the server repository via Form Manager. Now I can access it in my browser like this:

And the question is: what is the right way to share forms to users on a production environment (without integration in a portal pages on so on, let it be just a link to a form which users have to fill in)? I mean, should it be the same link, or it is only for developers need and to share forms to users some other way must be used?

For integrating on custom portal, you would need to integrate with form submit proxy for handling of submission as mentioned @ http://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/help/mobile-forms/mobile-forms-service-proxy.html.
As far as url of form is concerned, it’s really up you. You can choose to hide the request parameters as couple of other customers are doing. You can find more information about hiding form template and content root from request parameter @ http://blogs.adobe.com/foxes/hide-parameters-from-mobile-form-url/

OMS, Repository, Agent Grid upgrade

Newbie here and will try to explain as best as I can.
So I installed Grid 10.2.0.2 on Windows XP system. I have used the patchset 12.0.4.0 to upgrade OMS, repository and agent. I have followed the documentation on how to do this. First I patched OMS by setting the environment variable to C:\OracleHomes\OMS10g and then clicked on setup oui installed the patch. I did the same for the Agent and change the env var to the agent home and patched the agent. According to the documentation the OMS and repository are upgraded together. So after both homes were upgraded, I open a command prompt to see the status of the oms agent and the management agent using "emctl status agent" and I see the following information.
OMS
Agent Version : 10.1.0.5.0
OMS Version : Unknown
Agent
Agent Version : 10.2.0.4.0
OMS Version : 10.2.0.4.0
I have also updated the database to 10.2.0.1 (orginally 10.1.0.5) and then patched to 10.2.0.4 and it show this when I connect to SQLPlus, so that seemed to work.
So why is the OMS agent showing up as 10.1.0.5 even though I assumed it was patched. Is this normal or did something fail during upgrade.

OK, I guess that makes sense.
Yes, I installed 10.2.0.1 into a separate home and used DBUA to upgrade the repository DB from 10.1.0.5 to 10.2.0.1. I then patched it to 10.2.0.4 and again used DBUA and so I am assuming my repository would be at 10.2.0.4 and that's why I was asking why the command prompt see it as 10.1.0.5.
The home directories I have is
C:\OracleHomes\agent10g, oms10g, db10g, oradata- This is for grid
C:\Oracle\10.2.0\db_1- is the 10.2.0.4 database.
The other reason I am asking about this is that I am using the agentdownload.vbs to install the management agent on a few systems. Before the upgrade I was able to successful install it using the 10.2.0.1 and when I upgraded to 12.0.4.0, I noticed I now had three folders 10.2.0.1, 10.2.0.2 and 10.2.0.4 that the agentdownload.vbs reside in. Since I am at 10.2.0.4 I chose to use that vbs file. I tried it on one of systems, but it doesn't seem to work and is asking about securing the agent. I made the necessary changes with the env variable, but it seems to never makes a connection my management server. I then tried to use the 10.2.0.2 vbs file and it works just fine. So I am thinking during my all of trials of getting grid and DB upgraded to 10.2.0.4 that something is amiss. So that's why I am question the versioning on the command prompt.
