I am trying to add a new field by using the VO extension to a seeded OAF page used to search Repository contracts.
I get the following error on opening the page after I have compiled my code on server and bounced apache.
Message not found. Application: FND, Message Name: FND_VIEWOBJECT_NOT_FOUND. Tokens: VONAME =SSPN_AdvancedSearchAttributesPVO; APPLICATION_MODULE = oracle.apps.okc.repository.search.server.ContractsAdvSearchAM;
I extended the AM also after this to include the extended VO but still the error comes.
This page is a dynamic search page where the results change based on the different search criteria.

I extended the AM also after this to include the extended VO but still the error comes.There is no need to extend the AM for extending a VO. Hopefully the VO which u extending already attached to the AM oracle.apps.okc.repository.search.server.ContractsAdvSearchAM.

I have been struggling to add a new field to the (CRM 2007) user interface from available fields for a specific view.
I have maintained settings in BS__WD_CMPWBàRuntime Repository editoràComponentàViewàConfigurationàNew ConfigurationàAvailable FieldsàField Propertiesàand save.
But the field is only appearing in display mode in the Web UI, which doesnu2019t allows any user input.
I need your help to resolve the issue, I would be grateful if you could provide step-by-step documentation with screenshots or any other kind of documentation.

I think you added a new custom field using some method like EEWB etc.,
Then, you are adding the field onto the UI using UI Configuration Tool .. right ?
These are the steps to diagnose:
Method 1.Check the field properties in the model browser first.
It should be showing 'C' i.e., CHANGEABLE. If it is showing as 'R', it is only READABLE.
In such a case you need to find a BADI to change the field properties.
For example, in Marketing Applications OBJ BADI has a method CHANGE FIELD PROPERTIES for this purpose.
Method 2. Debug and check what is the value coming for RV_DISABLED parameter in the GET_I method in BSP_WD_CMPWB. This should be FALSE.
Method 3. Check what are the field properties in the UI Configuration tool.
Make sure it is not a display only field.

Need to Add a new Field to FamAddPG

Hi All,
We are trying to add a new field Start Reason Id field in to a view object FamilyMembersVO.
This field should be able to be entered and updated in the FamAddPG (oracle/apps/ben/selfservice/enrollment/webui/FamAddPG) .
We were able to identify VO and extend the VO and were able to personalize the page and add the field.
However there is no related Entity Object (EO).
When we try to enter the field it is erroring, we try to modify the related controller (CO) and Application module (AM), however didn’t work.
So our question in order to add a field to a VO, when there is no related EO what should we do.?.
What are the objects we need to extend and what all objects we need to modify? i.e VO, EO AM etc.
Any pointers help would be much appreciated.

Hi Kiran,
You didn't mention what error you got after extending the VO, there may be different errors, different reasons and hence different solutions.
Second Insert/Update/Delete happens in AM --> AM just handles the transaction but insert/Update/Delete happens through code written in AM is not true.
If VO is EO based then we enter the data on page and submit the page then this data will posted to EO and and on commit it will be saved in database automatically.
Please specify the error, then we will be able to suggest you something.

Add a new field on SRS (SAP Retail Store)

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to add a new field on the SRS(SAP Retail Store) screen for Purchase Order.
We identified the template - zwspo_entry/90/saplwspo_docdlg_2000.
We included a new field in the Internet Services => ZWSPO_DOCDLG under TOPIC_90.
Now we can see the field on the web output.
However the corresponding input value which is entered by user is not gettting updated in the structure WSPO_HEAD. So we are unable to save the value entered by user in the PO.
The code is as below :-

STG_LOC is a new field which we have appended to WSPO_HEAD.
We have created a enhancement in include LWSPO_BAPIF02 in subroutine BAPI_CRT_POHEADER_MAP_TO where we get the values of WSPO_HEAD. However for STG_LOC its coming blank though we are entering a value on the web.
Any pointers to resolve this would be extremely helpful.

Need to add a new field to the Schema for MDM Syndicator

We are running MDM 5.5 SP6.
We have a requirement to add a new field and syndicate the new field to the our Procurement System.
I was able to add the new field to the repository and schema in SAP MDM Console. However, when I went into the Syndicator to map the new field (which I do see) to the new Schema field, I don't see the new field to map in the Schema.
How can I change the existing syndication jobs (11 of them) to use the new Schema? Or do I have to recreate all of them?

Hi Janynne,
I hope you have modify the Syndication XSD(add new field) and then load it in XML Schema table of MDM Console, right ?
If you have done it, now open MDM Syndicator>Go to File>Open, select the required Remote system and Available map.
Now your existing map will be loaded which has not the required added field, Now again, go to file-->Export.
Give file name and save this syndication map on your Desktop. Once you have done this.
Go to File>New>Select respective remote system and Type as XML Schema if you have loaded this XSD in Console else select Type as XML Schema file and select the modified XSD (added new field XSD) from Desktop. Once it is loaded, import the existing syndication map(which you have exported as said above) which should have all the fields mapped, now in target side you will have here new added field too, map it with required source field in Item Mapping and then go to file>Save as>select the required Remote system and give new map name. Use this map for exporting files for future reference.
Also, if your are using Port Concept, you need to change the Properties Map and XML Schema in Port of MDM Console.

Thats not correct because one of the credit cards that I am trying to use, is a prepaid Visa gift card. I know that these work on I-tunes because I have used them before in the past. I am getting very frustrated with this whole process, I just want to clear up my account and buy some new music!! HELP!!

Why would you need to ADD a new Client. Unless the APE sytem is completely different then any other Wireless router the printer should get an IP address from the router. That is IF the printer is setup to get an IP from the LAN DHCP server.
Now you may want to make that IP it does get a Staticly assign IP address so it never changes, which will screw up printing if it does change. But i don't know if you can do that with APE routers.

Most of the music I've put on my ipod nano 5th gen in the last 2 years just vanished while I was trying to add four new tracks. Stuff from before that seems to be still there (I add stuff manually, not sync, and the ipod wasn't full). It was a bit glitchy as soon as I plugged it in to update - threw up a few error messages, decided to verify my ipod a couple of times, After that, once or twice itunes seemed to lose the ipod completely, although as far as the laptop was concerned it was definitely still connected, so i went for the 'safe to remove hardware' option and reconnected...
I'm guessing somewhere in the midst of whatever was going on there, something got confused or corrupted, but I have no way to tell what... Ipod seems to think it is using less of its capacity now, but I don't know whether to believe it or not!
Can I get this stuff back? It's not just stuff I bought from itunes, either - things I put on from cds have gone too. I have all the music either backed up or on cds, but I'm not in the same country as my cds right now - also rebuilding all of my playlists and trying to remember what went where is going to be a pain! Is there a quicker way than just doing it all over again?

If you are having an issue with Touch ID not functioning as expected, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -

I was trying to add a new object from central management console and I got the following error:

The report I am trying to add was running on a Linux box with the same version BusinessObjects Cyrstal 11 running. I want to move it to a Windows box... The report itself shouldn't have problems because it was running fine on the linux box...
Also want you let you know that I don't know too much about Crystal Report and our Crystal Report admin quited his job last week! I will be very appreciated if anybody can give me any advice. Thank you!

Creative cloud keeps crashing after trying to add a new font?

I recently tried to add a new font to my library with typekit. As soon as the download was complete, at the point where it should have synched, my creative cloud crashed.
Now, i can still start creative cloud, and i can even get to the primary menu, but 10 seconds after launching it, it crashes. What can i do?

How come Leopard let me use the WGM in standard mode?
While SA complains that it won't work in Standard Configuration, WGM does not. There is some fault in the logic of this for which I don't have an explanation.

If you wish to have complete control of all client settings, yes. There really is no disadvantage of using an Advanced configuration other than the learning curve.
So if I switch to advanced mode, there is good chance I won't get this error message anymore, right?
