what can I do ?

if you set up your mac woth your apple id and your mac is running lion or newer you can reset it with your apple id. if you enter your password incorrectly 3 times you should a message saying "if you forgot your password, you can reset it using your apple id". click the arrow-in-a-circle icon to bring up the reset passsword dialog. enter your apple id password and click reset password to proceed.

I was told that I can reset the password by opening and using password utility from OSX recovery and that there is an article on Apple support that will tell me how. I looked and can't find the article. Can anyone suggest how to do this? Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Reset Password. After resetting the password use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for startup and restart.

Be sure to read the If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer section of the article kb195 posted.
If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device.

The time zone must be correct for your location.
Make sure you know your ID (an email address) and password. The password should be in your keychain, which you access in the Keychain Access application.
Sign out of iMessage:

Then sign back in with your verified credentials.
If you get the same error, try resetting the NVRAM.

In July 2013, I upgraded my MacBook Pro to OS X 8.5, bought an iPod Touch and set up an iCloud account.
I forgot my .mac password and I want to open an email message sent to my .mac email account.
When I attempt to log into my .mac account using Apple Mail, my password attempts are rejected by a .me mail server.
Is there any way I can restore my access to my .mac or .me email?

First, make sure caps lock is not on.
You must back up all data before continuing, unless you've already done so. If you need to back up but can't log in, ask for instructions.
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select
Utilities ▹ Terminal
from the menu bar.
In the Terminal window, type this:
res
Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens.
Select your boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name) if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.
Select
 ▹ Restart
from the menu bar.
You should now be able to log in with the new password, but your Keychain will be reset (empty.) If you've forgotten the Keychain password (which is ordinarily the same as your login password), there's no way to recover it.

You have to buy the application. It does not come with the computer. There are other ways to access another computer depending on what you are trying to accomplish and whether or not they are on the same network. I'm not too familiar on doing this, but I have used screen sharing in the past.
