Hi Experts,
i am facing one problem while developing one interface from SOAP to ABAP Proxy with attachment.
the sender system is sending empty soap message but with all its content in the attachment.
we need to parse the attachment and send the data to ECC system through proxy.
we made some research on SDN and found out that in sender soap adapter PayloadSwapBean is not supported.
however in receiver XI adapter the module tab is not editable.
could you suggest any solution to handle this interface?

Can you just try to use SOAP with Servlet(Axis) protocol, since standard SOAP sender does not allow modules to be used.

ABAP Proxies to send the data to PI

I have a scenario to send some data from ECC to Legacy system in flatfile format. I would like to use ABAP client proxies on the ECC side and File receiver adapter to tranmit the data to Legacy system.
I tried various sample scenarios and know how to send simple data using ABAP report program(which triggers the client proxy from ECC).
But the question is if I have to read SAP data files and send the data conditionally based on certain criteria to the other Legacy system. How do we write the ABAP code with in the ABAP Proxie program? Can any body share the real time coding procedure to achieve this. I am not good at ABAP.
I absolutely have good idea how we can configure on the receiver side.

If I want to transfer only specific data from various SAP database files from ECC and then triggering the ABAP client proxy in the ABAP report program
There are various ways to do this. Create a class that can call reports(forms) for various legacy system say L1, L2 and L3. now create 3 reports each for the systems .
In XI create a generic structure which can satisfy L1, L2 & L3 and generate the proxy for this structure.
now in reports for L1 pass the data from ERP tables specific to L1 and use the client proxy report to pass the data to XI and deliver the flat file. Similarly for others you can do
now at XI you do conditional receiver determination. Identify the condition from the payload that can distinguish L1, L2 & L3. based on this you can pass the data to defined receiver.

How to create an ABAP Query with OR logical expression in the select-where

In trying to create an ABAP query with parameters. So it will select data where fields are equal to the parameters entered. The default logical expression is SELECT.. WHERE... AND.. However I want to have an OR logical expression instead of AND.. how can I attain this??

You cannot just replace AND with OR in an ABAP QUERY. ABAP QUERY is a self generated SAP code. You'll just declare the tables, input parameters and output fields to be displayed and it will create a SAP standard code. If you'll try to change the code and replace the AND with OR in the SAP standard code, the system will require you to enter access key/object key for that particular query.

I have already tried to insert a code in the ABAP query (there's a part there wherein you can have extra code) but that didn't work. Can anybody help me on this.

Could anybody tell me what the functionality "DDIC Preferences", where you can enter a R/3-System with user & password, is being used for?
I couldn' t find any docs on that, but in ABAP Dictionary I found a checkbox "Exclusive Use For Java" in SE11.
Is there a possibility to create db-tables in ABAP and use them in Java in this way. And - if so - how exactly does it work?

You can import the dictionary data type that you create in Abap Dictioanry SE11 using the adaptive RFC model in a webdynpro application in NW04S.
You can specify the model name,package,specify default logical names,provide the R/3 system logon information and the function modules for importing the data.
Once this is done,the R/3 data types get imported into the logical dictionary which is visible in your application nodes.

What tables are available for me to use ABAP queries with t-code in SRM as we currently use this for MM.

Publishing a Web ABAP Service with ABAP stack

Hi,
We are only running ABAP Stack (we don't have Java Stack) in a SAP ECC 6.0 version.
We have a RFC (or BAPI), for instance BAPI_CUSTOMER_GETDETAIL.
How could we publish a Web ABAP Service?

Problem with the active version of the transfer rule ABAP program with sour

Hi,
I have a problem with the active version of the transfer rule ABAP program with source system EXCEL.
The system does not react to changes done in the transfer rule coding. For FISCPER I have hardcoded the result 'BABABA' and still the results delivered are those from the CSV.
Resetting the system buffers does not help. The problem is systematic in combination with source system EXCEL (i.e. not only 1 InfoSource). Checking the active program Extras->Display Program shows the coding (result='BABABA') being there, but
as stated, the system does not produce the result BABABA, but instead the result of the CSV.
It seems as if the original version from the very first activation of the transfer rule program remains somewhere and continues to be used. Does anybody know how to flush it out and get the system to actually use the coding appearing as the active program.
I have posted an OSS note, but SAP takes it time to answer and I am under time pressure so I figured that maybe one of you know who to solve it before SAP does.
