Hi guru's what is check tabale , what is value table

hi guru's what is check tabale , what is value table

The Check Table is the dependent table to which the relationship is defined using foreign keys. The contents of the check table field are shown in the input help for the referenced field.
For example you have Employee master table & Employee Transaction table.
When ever an employee Transacts we need to check whether that employee exists , so we can refer to the employee master table.
This is nothing but a Parent & Child relationship . Here data can be maintained at client level , no development involved.
As per DBMS what we call foregin key table, is called as check table in SAP.
The Value table is the table attached to a field at the domain level, where the entry to the field can be only from the value table. They are not used in the Input Help.
This is maintained at Domain Level.
When ever you create a domain , you can entered allowed values. For example you go to Domain SHKZG - Debit/credit indicator. Here only allowed values is H or S.
When ever you use this Domain, the system will forces you to enter only these values.
This is a sort of master check . To be maintained as a customization object. This mean that if you want to enter values to this table you have to create a development request & transport the same.
There is 1 more important Difference in Value Table and Check Table is that:
1. The contents of the check will be used as an input help(F4 Help) for a particular field on which a check table is assigned.
But the contents of Value Table are never used in Input Help.
The Heirarchy which decides from where to used the Input Help is:
1. Input help defined explicitly in ABAP Program or Dialog Module.
2. Input Help Attached to the referenced Database Table field.
3. Using the contents of Check Table as an input help if neither (1) or (2) help are there.
4. Input help from Fixed value or Value range given in Domain.

  • My pic 3 has suddenly started draining the battery in only a few hours even when I am not using it. Might this mean something is running all the time? I recently downloaded Dropbox. How do I check? What do I do about it? Or is battery faulty? Tim

My ipad 3 has suddenly started draining battery in only a few hours. Even if not in use. Might this be because a programme is running in he background? I recently downloaded Dropbox. Might my photos still be downloading after a few days? How do I check? What do I do about it? Or might my battery be faulty? Thanks, Tim.

Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon.  The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use the wall-mount charger that came with the iPad and charge overnight.  Admittedly the labeling is hard to read but, if you use a magnifier and squint your eyes, you'll see "Output 5.1V, 2.1A."  The symbol between volts and amps is the symbol for DC.  Do NOT use an iPhone charger.  Do NOT use an iPod charger.  Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear).  An irony is that doing that test to determine the total operating time is also the exact procedure necessary to calibrate the battery level meter.
I'm not claiming that you do not have a problem.  I am stating, however, that we don't yet know whether or not a battery problem exists.
    According to Apple:
    Use Your iPad Regularly
For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
Elsewhere, Apple elaborates and explains that two half-discharges (or four quarter-discharges, etc.) equals one full discharge.

  • What to Check in AWR Report

    Hi All,
Not very much experienced in performance tunning that why need your help, i generate AWR report for different times what to check, i started with top 5 events and trying to understand the portion of the report. Can anyone help me to understand the same
In case if AWR requires for the 3 snap shot i will provide the same

    Hi,
If you have a performance issue on your system look for causes of that performance issue in the AWR. eg. compare the awr report for the period with bad performance with that of a one taken when performance was good. AWR taken during bad time would have "things" that weren't in the awr taken when performance was good or have "high values" for some "things". Start from that point and drill down.
If you don't have performance issues then confirm everything is running as it shoud be. Compare several awr reports and there shoulnd't me "anything" out of the ordinary.
    You can start with
    Instance Efficiency Percentages (Target 100%)
    Top 5 Timed Foreground Events
    Time Model Statistics
There are no hard and fast rules as to how you go about interpreting an awr. It depends on type of problem you have, your system, your applicaiton, time of day etc.

My imac screen display is unfocussed, odd coloured and blurred (caused by rogue cate walking over keyboard).  I have no idea what settings have changed or what to check.  Any ideas?!

It could be a number of keyboard shortcuts, here's a few.
If the screen is zoomed,  hold CNTL and scroll down with mouse or trackpad.
If screen looks like a negative,  hold down CNTL OPT CMD and click 8.
Let us know how what other symptoms are shown.

    - You can look here to help determine if it was stolen. Not 100%,
Online Stolen Property Database | Online Lost & Found Database | Stolen Lost & Found Online
    - Enter the SN here and see if it says anything strange like the SN does not exist.
Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage
    - Make sure it works, all buttons work. it connects to wifi. Screen is not cracked.

I cannot get my iMac with built-in airport wi-fi to allow internet connections to Nook and PS3. The devices access the network, but internet connection fails. Internet sharing is enabled, network security (WEP, WPA) is disabled.  What to check next?

On an additional note, I've purchased a wireless router and everything connected on the first attempt.  It just vexes me that the built-in wireless isn't working as a router.  Is this another example of "Mac only plays with Mac"?

  • Why is Metastream plug-in listed when I do a Plug-in Check on what plugins are up to date, I thought it was blocked?

MetaStream 3 Plugin is listed as a Plugin, Status Unknown when I click on "Check on what plugins are up to date" of the Add-ons Manager. (I think this has just recently started happening.) The three other plugins listed are active and none of the other supposed inactive or blocked ones are listed.
The Add-ons Manager does indicate Metastream has been disabled due to security issues.
Is this normal or of concern?

Regardless of if a plugin is disabled or enabled, it will still display on the plugin check.<br>
This is to ensure that if the plugin is enabled the user is running the most current and secure version of that plugin.

  • Hi gurus what is check and continue

hi gurus what is check and continue

    Hii!
      CHECK logexp.
    Effect
CHECK evaluates the subsequent logical expression. If it is true, the processing continues with the next statement.
CHECK with a negative outcome terminates the current loop pass and goes back to the beginning of the loop to start the next pass, if there is one. Examples of loop structures are:
    DO     ... ENDDO
    WHILE  ... ENDWHILE
    LOOP   ... ENDLOOP
    SELECT ... ENDSELECT
    Note
Outside loops, a CHECK with a negative outcome will cause you to exit the current processing block (event block, dialog module, procedure). During the reporting event GET, the system terminates the processing of the current entry, read by the logical database, and processes the next entry in the current node of the logical database. Nodes that are subordinate in the hierarchical structure of the logical database are not processed.
SAP recommends that you only use CHECK within loops. Use the RETURN statement to exit processing blocks.
You can use the REJECT statement to exit the reporting event GET conditionally.
    CONTINUE.
    Effect
    Within loop structures like
    DO     ... ENDDO
    WHILE ... ENDWHILE
    LOOP ... ENDLOOP
    SELECT ... ENDSELECT
CONTINUE terminates the current loop pass, returns the processing to the beginning of the loop and starts the next loop pass, if there is one.
    Example
DO loop: Omit an area (10 ... 20)
    DO 100 TIMES.
      IF SY-INDEX >= 10 AND SY-INDEX <= 20.
        CONTINUE.
      ENDIF.
    ENDDO.

  • What is 'Checking Playlist' -while burning a DVD- checking ?

I've started backing up iTunes files on DVD disks.
Made iTunes playlist with all files.
All (over 19.000) files are box-checked.
    Put in a Philps DVD+RW empty/new disk.
Burn Disc is shown and blinking.
    'Checking Playlist' is processed.
    Takes (almost I hope) forever...
Question : What is 'Checking Playlist' checking/doing ?
I need about 14 or 15 DVD's to do all my (first time, yes I live dangerous...) backing up on discs. So my second question is :
Will this 'Checking Playlist' be done everytime I insert another DVD disc ?
Hope that someone can answer these - maybe simple - questions !
    Thanks a lot !

    John hello,
What is 'Checking Playlist' checking/doing ? exactly that it is checking to see if all the songs in the play list can be burned in the format you have chosen and making sure all songs are ticked plus checking to see if protected songs are not included.... they should be burned in Data format...
I personally prefer to use the Finder for backing up music files and have never had a problem ... if iTunes does it for you and there is a power failure you will have to start again, not so with the Finder... I do it like this
    1. open iTunes Music folder in column view.
    2. select all folders beginning with letter 'A' and drag to 4.7GB DVD and Burn
    3. repeat step 2 but change the 'Letter' until all done.
    Some tips...
backup iTunes Library file as well on one of the DVD's
printout a library list of all albums and note DVD ref. # against the albums as you burn each one.
some letters of the alphabet will not have many files so you can fit some letters together... the reverse is also true, the letters 'T' & 'C' may need more than one DVD disk
by storing them this way it is very easy to put the right disk back and there you have the data files as they were in the Finder.
after you copy each selection to DVD use the get info window or contextual menu and change color on the folders from Red to Green will do... if you want to leave your backing up and come back later... very easy to know what has and has not been backed up.
the big plus is these DVD's can be viewed and played from within iTunes.... 1200 songs approx per DVD (print a album list for each DVD is a good idea)
to restore your total setup on another computer or where ever, drag all files back to an empty iTunes Music folder and replace library file with backup ... all done
for incremental backups just look for folder/s with no color and put on a DVD .... changing to 'Green' will indicate they are backed up.
NOTE: do not keep the DVD backups with you computer... put well away somewhere safe in case of fire, burglary or natural disasters.
I hope that helps you John ... take care .... TP
