I know how to read the text elements, For the FM you said, i have to pass each langu (form t002) for each text element and check if it is maintained in that langu or not.
that was not my question, i should first know all the langu, so that i can use the READ statement for only those langu to get the texts.
checking for all the langu causes redundancy is what i feel.

i created selection screen lik this:-
S_BEGDA FOR P2001-BEGDA,
S_ENDDA FOR P2001-ENDDA,
S_BTRTL FOR P0001-BTRTL.
ZWSOABS is a table having only one field " ABSTYP ".
CAN ANYONE SEND THE CODE FOR THIS:-
1. Get Date(P2001- BEGDA and P2001- ENDDA) using selection criteria from selection screen
2. Get Personnel sub area from the table PA0001
3. Number of Occurrence is the Total number of Absences, which were recorded, in the specific period.
4. Get all the Absences from the table ZWSOABS which were recorded in the specific period (P2001- BEGDA and P2001- ENDDA).
5. Number of Workers is the Average number of workers who worked in the recording period excluding those persons who were absent from work on paid/unpaid leave for the entire period.
6. Get the Number of Workers from PA0000 using the following:
- Select Count (*) from PA0000 where PA0000-ENDDA = 31/12/9999 and PA0000-STAT2 = 3
7. Perform the report
I WANT TO DISPLAY THIS FIELD (INCIDENT RATE) where
incident rate = Number of Occurrences in the period / Number of Workers * 100

Abap fresher's doubt

SELECT distinct vbeln vbtyp vkorg vtweg spart vkgrp kunnr kostl
      FROM vbak
      INTO TABLE gt_vbak
      WHERE vbeln in s_vbeln-
      or vkorg = p_vkorg or
       vtweg = p_vtweg or
        spart = p_spart.
here: s_vbeln is select-option for vbak-vbeln.
problem with above query is that:
   if i enter only '5000' in s_vbeln then also it is giving additional fields like '50000011'

hi all
when i write WRITE statement in initialization and in top-of-page event, the top-of-page event write data comes first on screen and then initialization write data comes later i.e.
initialization.
write 'abc'.
top-of-page.
write 'xyz'.
and execute.
the o/p is
xyz
abc
this shows that top-of-page triggers first and then initialization.
question: what is the sequence in which all events in report execute.

There is no such sequence for this steps.
TOP-OF-PAGE will be triggered first and will write the o/p on top of page.
Reporting events

START-OF-SELECTION
GET
END-OF-SELECTION
List events
TOP-OF-PAGE
END-OF-PAGE
AT LINE-SELECTION
AT PF<nn>
AT USER-COMMAND
The process is as follows:
1. The runtime environment creates the INITIALIZATION event and calls the corresponding event block (if it has been defined in the ABAP program).
2. If there is a selection screen defined in the program, control returns to the selection screen processor. This generates the corresponding events and calls their event blocks.
3. Control then passes to the reporting processor. It creates the START-OF-SELECTION event and calls the corresponding event block (if it has been defined in the ABAP program).
4. The logical database, if you are using one, calls further event blocks at this point.
5. The reporting processor creates the END-OF-SELECTION event and calls the corresponding event block (if it has been defined in the ABAP program).
6. If the program contains a list description, control now passes to the list processor. The list processor displays the list defined in the ABAP program. It converts user actions on the list into events and calls the corresponding event blocks.

you can do this in two ways
1) In the select Query itself you mention under where clause
indicator = 'N'. i.e select * from db
                                      into table itab
                                       where indicator = 'N'.
2) in the loop include the same where clause like this.
   loop at itab into wa where indicator = 'N'.
     write : / fl1,
                fl2,
                fl3.
    endloop.
do it anyways your problem will be solved.

My name is Rohit Prakash, I had done my certification from ATOS Bangalore in june 2012. After Struggling a lot I was able to find a contract to hire position for one of the MNC's in Bangalore. Abap report103 movement type is done and 105 is NOT done.

HI,
Requirement need materials for which 103 movement type is done and 105 is NOT done.
Scenario: - Material comes in company means we do movement 103 for that. after that we do movt. type 105 for that material. I want those material document list that had 103 but not 105.
Means material has enters in company but movt. type 105 not done.
Please advice am abap fresher

Check the table content with BWART = 105
Get the EBELN Nos.
Pass the EBELN into EKKO Table, Get the value of Field FRGKE.
if FRGKE <> 'G'.
ie. Document not yet released.

use transaction ST22 to analyze the error type. There you have the detail of the error message, the program and the line of the ABAP code where the dump was triggered.

How to get proper breakthrough in SAP ABAP

i was going through different threads that getting job as SAP ABAP fresher is very tough .If i consider my profile i have only 3.5 years of software development experience .If i do ABAP then i will be fresher in SAP .
1)so how should i proceed to get a proper break through in this domain.
2)When is the Peak time for doing this course.
3)Is Master Degree Essential to get a break through in SAP ABAP.I have B.Sc IT
4)is Genovate /Bangalore / Mumbai is a proper place to get a breakthrough in SAP ABAP

Welcome to the world of SAP ABAP! There is plenty of work at the moment, so you've chosen a good time to start.
I've been doing it for over 10 years, and I would recommend it to anybody.
As for your questions:
1) The best way to break into ABAP is do the courses BC400 and BC401. Then try to find a job where you can gain experience
2) These courses are held all the time
3) No special degree is required, you just need to know how to program BEFORE you try to learn ABAP
4) SAP is used all over the world, so don't worry about specific locations
Once you have done the training and have some on-the-job experience, then you should try to achieve certification.
