I have an iPhone 3GS, it's on iOS 6.1.3 but I'm unable to download the podcasts app because it says it requires iOS 7 or later.because of this I cannot download any type of music or ringtone.apple has done very bad as they r now only dealing with the latest and forgot about the previous customers. Any easy solution??
It was not legitimately unlocked by the carrier it was originally locked to. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it.
In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple.

All downloads from iTunes are tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't re-download content via a different account. You checked the spam folder on yourr old account as well as the Inbox, and depending upon how long ago you did it, have you retried getting it reset : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' ?

i had the facebook app but i could never upgrade it and i was ok with using the outdated version but when i reset the ipod so i could gift it to a friend it obviously got rid of the app and now i cant downloaded because it says its not compatable, how can i download the version i had before i reset it?Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

Hi, not sure what you are asking about. Do you have speakers that use AirPlay and you can't connect your iPhone via AirPlay? That is most likely an issue with your wireless router. Sometimes it helps to switch the router off and on and let all devices connect again.
If the app asks for a sync cable (not sink I suppose) it means the white USB cable that came with you iPhone and syncs via iTunes. -
My iphone only sync's SOME of my ical events from my macbook. I only have 1 calendar. Am I doing something wrong? I'm not using the cloud.
With the exception of photo stream, iCloud doesn't sync your apps or photos between devices. You will continue to sync this content via iTunes in the same way as you do now.
Photo stream allows you to sync your most recent photos between all devices, you have the option to use photostream or not. -
I have an Iphone 3gs wi-fi problem. When I try to access my home wi-fi network the phone looks for the network, finds it, but cannot lock it in. The check mark flashes a few times then the phone tries again to connect. This only happens with my home wi-fi. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem. I have re-booted the phone and the router without any luck.

I've been suffering from this problem for a few months. I tried everything suggested by everyone, and then, today, I had a mad idea.
I used to work in a room in the house that's about 12 metres away from the router. It's on the next storey up and horizontally about 8 metres away. The problem started when I began to work in the same room as the router.
Today I became so frustrated that for some reason I walked into a room about 8 metres away on the same level - Guess what? I connected with no problem at all. Feeling full of joy I walked back to the room where the router is located - Dropped internet connection within a few minutes! Walked back to the the room that's 8 metres away and, hey presto! I have a connection. I now realise that the problem was that I moved too close to the router.
I can think of no logical explanation for my experience, but empirically it seems to work. Does anyone have the faintest idea of why this should be the case? In the absence of an answer I think I may have to start believing in fairies at the bottom of the garden - I'm just off to set a meal for them.
By the way, I don't know if it has any significance, but the router is a BT Infinity router that has replaced the incredibly unreliable Virgin Media cable connection -
Hi...I am new to this site and it looks like I posted the question in the subject box...my bad.
I have an Iphone 3G which is used as an ipod (phone service plans are too expensive).
I had some apps on it, Facebook being one of them. The device was goins soooo slow (not even 2G of the available 6 being used) so I did as instructed and backed it up, restored it and then put the info back into it. When I tried to download the Facebook app...it said that I had a 4.2.1 system and needed a 4.3 something system? Can anyone provide any help on this or am I doing something wrong?

You are attempting to use a device unsupported by Apple or iTunes with an app written by some other developer to emulate an Apple device. Talk to the app developer.
If you have an ATV, AirPort Express, or some other supported AirPlay receiver and the AirPlay icon is not appearring, then it is an issue that would be appropriate to be discussed here. -
How can How can I download the Podcasts app to my ipod touch
I have a iPod Touch with iOS 6.1.3. The podcast app was not working so I deleted it. I tried to download/reinstall from iTunes on my PC but it gives an error saying it "requires a newer version of iPod software" (odd since the app was on the device before with the same iOS version). I also tried going to the iTunes on the device but can't find the app there to down it and the iTunes app keeps crashing.
Is there a version of the Podcast app that works on an iPod Touch? If so, how can I get it downloaded?I am having the same issue and it is very aggravating. The only thing I use my Itouch for is podcast and now it is useless, so frustrated at the moment.

I tried using the Podcast App but found it didn't group non-itunes downloads correctly on the iPhone or iPad whereas with just the Music and Video apps previously, it did. I have been into the file settings and change every attribute but it still clumps them all into one groups. In itunes on the PC they do group correctly. Anyone else had this problem? Can it be corrected?
I was happy to delete Podcast app and go back to just Music & video apps but now I now fine that if I want, for example, to download TedTalk podcast I can't.I am dealing with the exact same issue.. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have just upgraded to iPhone 6 and having restored it from my iPhone 4S, the Podcasts app can not be downloaded. It is stuck on the Waiting status and occasionally a warning message pops up to notify me that it can not be downloaded successfully (screenshots below). Could you please help me reslove it?

Hello I noticed something strange today. FCPX sometimes integrates two video tracks in MP4-Files when exporting. Can anybody explain why this happens? I exported a bunch of MP4s with different lengths out of FCPX using "Share for Apple Devices 720p".

RAM utilization keeps increasing over time
Environment: SharePoint Server 2010 on a stand-alone server, total RAM: 24GB I noticed that on our server the RAM utilization keeps going up until it gets to about 94-97% at which point everything become extremely slow or completely non-responsive.
