You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)

HT201401 have you ever had a problem with a foggy lens - blurry pictures?

Looks like the lens in the back has a film over it. It is blurry!

Does it happen with pictures you take with the front-facing and the back-facing camera? Or just one of them?

One side of the space key is stuck

I just bought the new macbook pro, and one side of the space key is lower than the left side. I have no idea what it might be, but i will be taking it to an apple shop if i dont find an answer or some help to fix this problem. Your help is greatly appreciated.

I am still wondering why iTunes tries to confuse me every time I try to make changes in my preferences, telling me that I "don't have enough permissions", although I am the administrator.
That's clearly a fault. Whether it's an iTunes problem or a Windows problem I can't say at this time. If you search the Using iTunes for Windows forum for "permissions", you should find threads that can help you sort out this problem.
Then, changes to the format are not obvious, and I get no notice that I am burning music files as data.
If you click on a playlist and look at the lower-right of the iTunes window, it says right there what format it will use to burn the playlist.

I'm going to make a full version of an application, but I would really like a way to upload resumes and CV's.

IPhone 4s iOS 8? One side of the headphones no longer work

Sometime over the last few weeks, I noticed one side of my headphones was dramatically quieter than the other on my iPhone 4S. I cannot figure out how to make each side play at the same volume again. I have not made any changes, but I feel it might have coincided with one of the iOS 8 (8.1, 8.1.1) installs. Here is what I have tested:
It is not the headphones because:
I have tested other sets of headphones and they have the same problem
It is not the jack because:
I plugged in my aux jack cord to connect my phone through the jack to my car. Using the cord in my car did not produce the same audio imbalance. Both sides were of equal volume
It is not the L/R slider because:
I checked the Settings>General>Accessibility slider and it is right in the middle of the L/R
Any ideas on how to fix this?

By default, Firefox will attempt to use your graphics card processor to improve font rendering. But, due to incompatibility with some graphic card driver software, this can look worse than a plainer rendering. To see whether this is the problem, you can turn off this feature.
That may require changes to one or both of these settings.
(1) General hardware acceleration setting
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
That takes effect the next time you exit and restart Firefox.
(2) Azure setting
(a) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(b) In the search box above the list, type or paste '''gfx''' and pause while the list is filtered
(c) Double-click the '''gfx.content.azure.enabled''' preference to switch it from true to false.
I don't know whether that kicks in right away or the next time you exit and restart Firefox.

How do I get my printer to print only on one side of the paper?

I want to print only on one side of the papger. But machine prints out on both sides. When I remove the duplexer at back of machine, the paper flies out the back and printing error says no paper. I'm going nuts. I am a writer and can only submit material on one side of the paper. I just got this machine and hate that it has no manual and the manual on line is beyond me. I need simple easy to understand instructions for my simple brain. thanks

Follow these steps to disable two sided printing:
Open the file you would like to print. From the File menu select Print. The Print window appears.
NOTE: The Print window might be minimized. Click the Show Details button to see all available settings.
Click the settings drop down, it will usually appear as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.
Select Layout from the drop-down menu.
Set the Two-Sided option as Off.
You may save the settings as a preset by clicking Presets > Save Current Settings as Preset...
By doing so and completing the print job these settings will remain default till another preset will be used in the future.

You should have been syncing your contact with your computer all along. Just sync them from the computer to the new iphone.
