Hi, how do I get iPhoto set up to play avi files by double clicking them in Iphoto???

Hi,
I download photos and video shots from my digi camera into iPhoto 08 and it creates an event. All normal, all good....EXCEPT...for some reason today when I double click on the video file a .avi file, it wont play it unlesss i re-save it to the desktop and open via quicktime. surely there is a way to reset this back to the default so I can just double click on the file, right???

What version of the OS do you have? If it's 10.6 then add Quicktime 7.

I tried QuickTime plug-in but it does not support the auido codec so the media file was shown with no sound. After a little research I found "QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component" which supports MPEG Audio Layer 2. But it is not free... (I have not tried it, maybe it won't work...)
After that I wanted to try "VLC Web plugin for Intel Mac" but it did not work on my Safari. I heard that this project has not developed for 3 years...
Is there any way to get Safari to play MPEG files?

How do i get a fullstop when texting. I try to double click the space bar but its not working.

The fullstop was working when i first got the phone but now its not. I am new to the i phone and not sure what i am doing. Its the i phone 4s.

A couple of years ago I loaded all my music onto a Macbook Pro and used iTunes to load it to my iPhone. Now my computer has been stolen and so I have bought a new one with Mavericks. No matter what I do iTunes won't import and play my wma files. What do I have to do to get iTunes to recognise these files.

How do I get a movie clip to play fully in an iphoto slideshow. Right now it only plays for a few seconds, while the complete clip is 22 seconds.

Bring up the Settings pane for the slideshow and click on the movie clip in the tray at the top. Then in the Settings pane click on This Slide button and set the play time to the actual length of the movie clip.

For a simple example, say I have a table and want certain roles to see all columns (including address), and other roles can see only certain columns (no address). In a Java method, I want to test if a table's column visible attribute is true and if so, set it to false before rendering it.

this use case would be a perfect example for using seeded MDS customization. Instead of checking what users are allowed to see or not upon rendering time, you have a customization class and thus the framework doing this for you.
