Hi well let me be clear.last year the iPhone was bought from someone traveling to honkong.i did not get it cheap it was a new phone and what is the use of getting a phone after 1 year six months.thats when the iPhone came to India.I paid more than what u selling the iPhones in India.now I have bought the iPad in India now.we are ready to pay for the repair charges.my phone work excellent it's just the home button.please don't say I was saving some buck I paid from my hard earned salary.it was nearly 800$ in Indian rupees.i love ur products.i offen make people buy ur products in Istore talking Good about them.if I new this phone would have problem I would wait for it to com to India.i work when i was 18years in one of the best handbag stores in India as a managelabor 20 years and I know how important is customer satisfaction and service as till date I give it to them at there door step.i even buy ur expensive softwares.i never had a problem with my 3G and 3GS iPhone in the past.regards vijay

There may be a defect in the phone. As you bought it in the US the only place you can get it looked at is in the US.
When you say you bought it new, unlocked did you buy it directly from an Apple store? If you did not it was hacked to unlock it, which could also be your problem. Apple stores are the only place in the US that sells legitimately unlocked iPhones.

I bought macbook pro last year July and i had lot of issue and problems start just after 2 months of my purchase
apple care re-install OS 4-5 times, replace RAM 3 times and they replace Kernel Logic Board 2 times but still my laptop is not working it's hanged and sometime it response very late (seems hang for fer seconds) the funny thing is when i check all repair cost it's almost 70% of new MacBook Pro. I really don;t know why they not give me new unit. Can some please tell me what is the return policy of apple because i really ****** off every week i went to apple store to solve the same issue and when i said i am not satisfied with this unit i want another new laptop then store manager said we can't give you new unit we can repair it.
This is my first apple laptop and i really not like it.

We are all users here trying to help other users by exchanging troubleshooting tips.
Other than suggesting to contact Apple again, what response can we give?

I live in Canada and bought a prepaid phone last year in Rancho Mirage Ca. I cannot add any money to the phone now and have lost serviceWill not take my Visa

My prepaid phone ran out on Nov. 16 and the web site is out of order so I cannot add funds on line.
I phoned the 1 888 number but was told they cannot take my Canadian Visa number even though I used it to purchase the phone last year.
I think because I am in Canada the chat service doesn't work for me either.
Would love to give Verizon an other $100.00 for another year of prepaid service but so far no luck.
Any ideas short of having to drive to the USA to a Verizon store?

• An international credit card with numeric ZIP/postal codes can make payments via Express Services options such as IVR, #PMT, My Verizon, and My Verizon handset.
• Canadian credit cards:
• With alphanumeric ZIP codes are accepted via My Verizon.
• Can be used for Automatic Payment Option (APO).
• Can be used for payment on My Verizon Handset.
• User must first enter the Canadian credit card into the wallet section of My Verizon Online, they can then choose to pay using their wallet on the handset.
• My Verizon can process payment from an international credit card with alphanumeric ZIP/postal codes.
• Only international credit cards with ZIP/postal codes of 9 digits or less are accepted in My Verizon.

You will have to find the person that you bought it from, he is the only person that can remove the phone their account : Find My iPhone Activation Lock: Removing a device from a previous owner’s account - Apple Support
If you can't find him then you won't be able to reactivate the phone.

ITunes will not let me authorize to play music. Claims I already authorized 5 computers. I have not (to my knowledge). Bug? My computer crached last year and a new HD was installed. Computer is Mac from 06 with Mac OS X10.5.8

Have a Mac Power Book bought 2005 when living in the US. Installed iTunes and set up an account. Have since dowloaded music, videos etc worth $1000s to my computer.... Last year 2012 my HD crashed and I had a new installed with operating system OS X 10.5.8. Can't upgrade to later systems. Before the crash I had long since moved out of the US and forgotten my old user ID and password for iTunes as I hardly ever purchased any music or used the program. Luckily I had my library saved on external HD and on my iPod. I just bought an iPod Nano this Xmas and when I was going to download music to it I realized I had problems. iTunes claims being the latest version (10.6.5) but the Ipod Nano want 10.7 to be able to work with iTunes. I then started to try to access my music and iTunes that I had not been using since the crash. It was an upgraded version and had new unfamiliar functions. I tried, to the best of my ability, to set up the account but to my frustration I can no longer access the $1000s worth of purchased music and music videos. ITunes just give me " I have already authorized this computer Including this one, you have authorized one computer out of your available 5". I only have this computer with iTunes! Is it a bug and how can I access my music?? I undestand I most likely will have to purchase a brand new computer to be able to use my iPod Nano I allways loved Mac and it's programs for its simplicity as I am no computer vizard but I am now desperate and at my wits end HELP!!

In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first.

The accessibilty setting that was mentioned is:
* Enable AssistiveTouch

You will need to connect the powered off device either to a PC's USB port or an external charger to power the device back on.

There is no "unfair trade" in releasing the next version soon after the last version. No "unfair trade" in releasing the new version the day after the last version. No one made any statement or guarantee that a new version would be a year away. Yes, most people who bought the "iPad 3" expected it would be a year before another release and, yes, some (or many) were not happy about the iPad 4 coming out so soon. There may have been some trust or love lost beween those consumers and Apple but there is nothing illegal or improper about it.

It takes a lot of time to start up the imac. Sometimes more than 5 minutes.

this won't answer the slowness of your mac but i would like to suggest something for you if i may. i was also frustrated at how slow my late 2012 21.5" imac was from the box, this is what i did.
didnt want to tear my mac apart to swap the int. hdd so i purchased a lacie rugged ssd and connected via thunderbolt, the difference was amazing, from powering up to surfing the net.......8 seconds!
from the "gong" to desktop 4 seconds! there is no cog while it loads!
my advice, get an external thunderbolt enclosure, it doesnt have to be lacie, there are loads out there, and bang a ssd in it.

Your MBP should have been given to you with the original installation disks and OS. The Lion OS is licensed to the person who sold it to you. You will have create your own account and purchase Lion if you wish to use it. Those are the stipulations in the licensing agreements.

I bought all the music and i have problems now with "too many accounts" - but i will use my music only on 1-2 ipods and on 1-2 macs - but i use some old apple hardware before and so I´m over the "5" maximum pieces. what can I do... thanks!!!!!
