Hi I am have difficulties with my I tunes and Sync ... Firstly i when starting up Itunes in windows 7 .. it tells me it is incompatible when trouble shoouting it does the same ... also when hooking up I pod classic .. it will not sync .. even when i do diagnostic... Help tried many thinks no good
Quit the game and restart the iPad.
To quit the game - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

I continue to have difficulties with Windows 8.1 and iTunes.
I continue to have difficulties getting iTunes to recognize an iPhone 5S or iPad following an upgrade to Windows 8.1... (which was the first mistake). This seems to all revolve around the driver, USBAPPL64. I have uninstalled, and re-installed, iTunes and all the other Apple products several times. I have tried extracting USBAPPL64 from the iTunes 64 bit installer but anytime this seemed to work the file was "corrupt". Was wondering if there was somewhere USBAPPL64 could be downloaded directly?
Tks.Well the quest continues - found the necessary driver so that is loaded and the USB port is now properly identified when the iPhone is connected. Do get the message, "trust this computer" on the iphone and it does show up on the computer device list, but not in iTunes. On the other hand, iTunes now shows an error saying Apple Device Services cannot be started. Also now, after several un-installs of iTunes and the Apple components, the Apply Mobile Device Services cannot be removed using "uninstall" from the Windows Control Panel.....the plot sickens....
So the next task is to get AMDS uninstalled and then start the whole iTunes install process again from scratch.....frustrating, to say the least, but I am learning the ins and outs of how Apple and Windows 8.1 interact.
Interesting that neither Apple nor Microsoft have much to say about this. Personally I think Microsoft should take the lead on this since clearly something changed between Windows 8 and 8.1 to cause the grief that everyone is experiencing. -
After upgrading to the new 8.0 I have difficulties with connection to wi fi.
Any suggestions to what I need to do ?

nowadays have many user have problem with update to ios7 and need active with apple id maybe in the future in order escape from these problems must be stop use these products else. Because of simple user don't know about this technology and sometime just hear from other user that it 's difficult to use then force they change phone that use to handle to another.
It is a feature to discourage the theft of iPhones by making them useless if resold. It's not going anywhere. It's simple: just don't buy a phone until you make sure that the activation lock has been disabled.

i cannot mirror from ipad or ipad air to a samsung smart tv via appletv.Any ideas please?
I have tried with an Ipad Air and Ipad using Op System 8.0.2 to mirror their contents to the screen of my Samsung Flat Screen Flat TV via the latest make of Appletv.I have spent over 2 hours going through all settings etc with Apple Customer Service Live Chat.They cannot find or replicate the problem and says it is all working fine.My TV screen displays, when i go into mirroring, "ready for connection - on your device launch Allshare Cast".Nothing happens although i have agreed with Apple Support that all settings are on and are correct.Can anyone help please, as Apple Support cannot?

Just got a new IPAD3, straight out of the box, but I cant charge it, I have tried with the power plug and cable out of the box that came with it but no joy, i have tried resetting the iPad but still no joy, have tried different mains plug sockets around the house with no joy, I have tried different USB mains plugs but again no joy, I tried using my new iPad cable into the USB port of my MacBook Pro laptop but still no joy, then, I tried using my old iPod classic cable into my MacBook Pro and that worked, so I have a way of charging my new iPad3 but its not practical as i have to take my MacBook Pro everywhere if I want to charge it which kind of defeats the object of having an iPad, has anybody experienced anything similar and how was it fixed? can anybody help me please...

Please note it did say at the store's discretion, but people have actually been able to return it to the on-line store. (I only saw a couple who tried.)
And given the outcry, I would think Apple might have other Apple stores join in. Just in case, though, if you can, you might bring it in today.
If it's an ARS, my guess is they can stick to their 14 day return. Apple cannot force them to do it. SO if it's not bought directly from Apple, and it's past the 14 day deal, I'd bring it in to the store today if you have one. When I gave people the cnet.com site, I gave it so people could read it and know only Apple had made the decision for Apple. And I suggested to some that an Apple reseller would probably stick with their own return policy.
Because Arnie had just bought his, he should be able to return it to Apple or an ARS because an ARS has to have some kind of full refund or at least return for credit within 7 or 14 days of purchase.

i have a Macbook Pro {retina}. I have a Maxtor One touch (Firewire that I have used with a Thunderbolt adapter and it has always worked well, uintil I upgraded to Mavericks. Now it crashes when I try to use it. What gives?
I suggets you contact the manufacturer. They may have a software update or a workaround.

My movies' audio isnt 5.1 as the description says. when I check out their info it says they are 2 channel. I have tried with two movies already and the audio description said Dolby 5.1
Actually, try this instead. On the apple tv, under settings > Audio > Dolby digital
Change it From AUTO (default) to ON
That worked for me. All my eyetv encodes have stereo and 5.1 tracks. For some reason the auto option forces stereo. Setting it to ON forces the 5.1.
Everything sounds nice again! It's just stupid that apple puts AUTO for the default and that setting results in stereo not 5.1. -
I have an iPhone 4S that won't charge. I have tried with 5 different cords and 2 wall plug but it won't connect. It will work if I plug and unplug my phone for 20 minutes. Please help me! Do I need a new phone or is this something that can be fixed?
Clean out the charging port--make sure there's no dust or debris in there. If that fails to solve the issue, bring the phone to Apple for evaluation.

My Computer broke and I bought a new one, re installed I tunes and synced my I Phone 4 but it only transfered 100 purchased songs into the library and I still have 400 songs on my I Phone, but when i try to re sync it wants to erase the 400 songs on my device and replace with the 100 songs in my library. I have authorized this computer with this device but I can't deauthorize the old computer because it's boken. I emailed tech support but they told me to manually transfer the files but it only transfers from the library to the device, and I need to transfer from the device to the library.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
The iphone is not a backup device.
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one. -
iTunes movies no longer sync from Dell laptop or MacBook Pros (both authorized devices) to iPhone 6s or iPad Air 2s after configured at Apple store yesterday. In the past I could see the movies in iTunes with the cover photo and sync to the other devices but now there is a listing a movies with no cover photos and in fact if I try to view the movie on the MacBook Pro it cannot be found unless I download it.
All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.
