Hi, i am not able to download PDF document from email in the ibook in both iphone 4s and ipad 1 mini. The received PDF document appears as image. This matter is experienced only from week. Appreciate your help

I am not being able since last week to download PDF document from email to ibooks. Once the PDF document in the email open it is shown as image document and cannot be downloaded to ibooks. This recent problem is also experienced in my ipad mini. Currently, i have to download the PDF document to my ibooks via the itunes only

I am grateful for any advice.A hard drive if it has failed will sometimes allow you to boot into windows but may not work completely (Eg: In a scenario, where system partition ;where windows is installed works fine but logical partition of hard drive has gone bad).
On certain conditions, if the hard drive is on verge of failure may/may not respond completely. I would suggest you to run a diagnostics using Seagate Seatools which works on any hard drive irrespective of manufacturer to actually confirm if your hard drive has failed.
Also, any hard drive can fail in spite of it been 1yr old or 1day old as its all manufactured in bulk and most of it comes from China

Okay , you should only delete EMPTY DUPLICATED folders, not preview folders or any others. I would put them all back. Then just delete any DUPLICATED EMPTY folders, do not disturb any other folders. On iOS switch off DOCUMENTS AND DATA under ICLOUD in SETTINGS. Do this on all iOS devices not just the one. Once deleted DUPLICATE FOLDERS on the mac in MOBILE FOLDERS then exit the LIBRARY. Open PAGES on your MAC and view folders on icloud. Check everything is all there as expected. If okay then DELETE and re-install PAGES app on iOS - THEN switch on DATA and DOCUMENTS in ICLOUD. Now open PAGES. If you have Time Machine on you can recover any 'lost' doc files and restore them from your mac from pages application. Try the process again and do not disturb any folders other than ones I mentioned as this is the system files LIBRARY. It is not a place to be over zealous in moving, altering and deleting folders and files. Take care please.

Having purchased a Bluray of Les Mis with a digital download, I am unable to download the film through iTunes with each time I try it stops at 1.43GBytes. I have attempted both Win8 PC and iPad with the same result. Any ideas?

after updating iPhone 6 and iPad mini to iOS 8.02 neither of them will charge on my Bose Soundock Portable using a genuine Apple 30 pin to Lightning adapter however, my 5S running 8.0 still charges
Upgraded to 8.1 still not charging with official adapter however the one I bought from poundland works fine

I can't get mirroring to work from any of my iOS devices (Ipad2, iPhone 5 and iPad air). I click on airplay, and select mirroring, but nothing appears on the tv screen and the connection with the Apple TV drops off after 5 seconds. Any ideas why
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
1. Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
2. Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
3. Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
4. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
5. Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
6. Restart your mobile device. -
Verizon iPhone 5, 64GB black - is anyone having issues with a very choppy conversation while talking on the phone? Both my wife and I have the same phones and are both having the same issue. We can only hear every other word of the person we are talking to. This happens at home, on the road and in the downtown area while calling both cellphones and landlines. It is intermittent, so we don't know exactly when it will reoccur. Absolutely no problem with data. The data speed is great.

We have two iphones, an ipad2 and ipad mini. The iphones have no difficulity discovering the air printers on our network. However the ipads cannot locate air printers. If the ipads are switched off/on they can find the printers but only for a one time use. Then they can no longer find printers. Any suggestions?

Try turning it on from iMessage on your Mac and see if the code entry window pops up on your phone.
All I had to do was start Messages on my Mac and it told me SMS forwarding was available and gave me the code to enter on my iPhone.
Also, Apple requires that iMessage/Messages (for SMS forwarding) and FaceTime (for voice call relays) have both your phone number and email available as contacts, so make sure both are selected on both your iPhone and Mac.
As far as the Settings badge, some people have reported that issue but there's no general case fix as of yet:

Go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive at>You can be reached by iMessages at>check (select) your iPhone number in there - if it is appearing. If the phone number does not appear, try turning Messages off on both the iPhone and the iPad. Restart both devices. Turn Messages on the iPhone first and activate it. Then do the same on the iPad and hopefully the phone number will be accessible again.

Xperia transfer error ios 8.02 from iPhone 5 and iPad mini retina to Z3
I can't for the life of me get my Z3 to transfer data from my iOS devices. After successful pairing an error occurs after a few kbits of the app evaluating what can be transferred. I've tried different cables, resets and uninstalling the app etc. Nothing works. No wifi transfer for iOS 8 yet neither. Frustrating!!

Iphone 5C and Ipad Mini Retina icloud tabs do not sync?
I have icloud for safari turned on on my iphone 5c and my ipad mini. When I open a website on my iphone 5c I can not see that website on my ipad mini when I hit the icloud icon. Also when I open a website on my ipad mini in safari it wont show that website on my 5c but instead show a website that I opened on my ipad mini a week ago. I tried rebooting the iphone and ipad, I tried signing out of icloud on both devices and signing back in, I turned off icloud and then turned it back on on both devices and nothing seems to be working to get them to sync. Is this a common problem with the new iOS update or am I just going crazy over something stupid?
If you are talking about iCloud tabs, check to make sure you haven't inadvertently turned on private browsing on one or both of your devices. When you do, they will stop syncing iCloud tabs until private browsing is turned off again.
