I will use Barclays Card for 18 month free interest.
I wil ask Apple clerk to avoid LG monitor.
I will buy those in Apple store.
Which one will you recommend?

Tha's something you need to decide for yourself.
Do you think you need 16GB of memory or 8 will be enough?
Do you need to carry your macbook around with you more often? if so just get the 13" it's easier to carry.
Or maybe you enjoy watching media on a bigger screen?
As for word processing it shouldn't be a problem on both notebooks.
Also can you afford buying the 15"?
And what about the hard drive capacity?
So my advice is to consider these aspects, make a list of pros and cons and see what you come up with

You're both synchronizing Safari with iCloud while signed in with the same Apple ID. On one computer, sign out of iCloud in its preference pane and sign in with a different ID.

    paul dave,
to reïnstall Mavericks on your 13-inch Mid 2012 MacBook Pro, you can try booting into Recovery mode by holding down ⌘R as your MacBook Pro starts up. Eventually it will show an OS X Utilities menu on the desktop; select Reïnstall OS X from that menu, and follow the instructions which it provides to reïnstall it onto its internal disk.

Which material is better for Green Screen? Polyester or Muslin??

    woof
check this out...is same as my link above type material.. is not shiny..is matte...spongy...stretchy...nice. If you have worked an 18 hour day on job and don't wanna do the 10 hour turnaround for next call time...you can even "sleep on it ".

ps.. the 'comments' on that web site for pan am are from non pro's... silly ...
they are not comments that have a clue whats up in pro work...sorry..but is fact.
the DIT station ( live during shots ) could mix the background and live shots live...so you 'see' on monitor what you get at end of edit and keying.
trust me, this is very advanced.
dont worry about the small stuff.. just test and shoot and test and shoot and get what you need.. live ..no post work is good work.
dont know how else to say this.. guess you had to be there.
try to imagine live and keyed at same time...melt the pictures in link you see in your head...original with screen, end result with key...is fun

  • HT4505 I have 4 accounts on my Mac Pro running Mavericks.  From one account I can scan with my Epson NX420, but the other three accounts do not see the scanner.  Can print from all accounts.

Sorry, I was not given the option of posting to a Maverics community.  I have 4 accounts on my Mac Pro running Mavericks.  From one account I can scan with my Epson NX420, but the other three accounts do not see the scanner.  Can print from all accounts.

    Hi there Ira Fletcher,
I would recommend taking a look at the troubleshooting steps found in the article below. Note: While the article was written for printer issues, many of the same troubleshooting steps apply to scanners as well.

  • Which tool is better for ETL?

I want to transfer data from RLDB to Essbase, there are many method and tools, I don't know which tool is better for my case. Now, what I am doing now is:
    1. Create views in Oracle
    2. Export view to falt file
    3. Import flat file to Essbase using rule file and MaxL import script.
4.The data size: flat file rows 3-4 million, time used: 13 hours
I want to use more powerful ETL tools, such as: Informatica PowerCenter, OBIEE, FDM, EIS, ..., I have basic knowledge for the above tools, but don't know which tool is better for my case? Please advise?

First to streamline your existing process, you could get rid of step 2 and add a odbc connection to the server and Sql statement to the load rule to pull directly from your Oracle database. Of course with the number of rows you have, if you use the same extract multiple times, I would create a table to load into from the view and pull from that table.
As for using an etl (Elt) tool, Informatica is pretty powerful and there is a version of it (although not supported in the future called DIM). I might go the ELT route with ODI(Oracle Data Integrator). In the future I might use OBIEE, but I don't think it fully ready for Essbase until the next version and I don't think it will rank on the same level as a full ETL tool for conversions.

As for EIS, I would not use it, but might use Essbase Studio. (It can use OBIEE as a source) again this is not an etl tool, it would just take youe existing views and load them.

I'm pretty sure battery capacity doesn't related with power performance of your system.. (in a notebook)
well perhaps this is just another way of people to advertise their website.
anyway. go for the biggest capacity, make sure it's genuine, and you can unplug ur battery if you dont  have one

  • Which printer is better for a MacBook Pro: Epson 2540 or HP 5520?

Looking to purchase a MBP and so will my roommate. We were wondering if there is a significant advantage of one over the other. The only difference I noted was that the Epson was able to connect directly through an ethernet port but I don't know how useful that would be. If you know of any other printer that you think would work best (pref. something with Wi-Fi or the ability to print wirelessly) with a price range of $80-150 are welcomed as well. Thank You.

Even the least expensive Mac can do papers and Internet; those are pretty basic tasks. So you dont need to go overboard with a Pro model. The only reason for you to get a Pro is if you want it to last as long as possible, but now that you can't upgrade most MacBook Pros, a loaded 13" Air would probably last just as long.
You could buy a lower-end Mac to handle what you need to do, and to make it last longer you can order it with more RAM and storage since you can't upgrade it later.

The 15" anti-glare, you likely will have to run Windows too to run software only Windows has (as well as keeping up with your skills there), and it's easier to run it as a program in OS X (virtual machine) than using Bootcamp which a weaker Mac will have to do.
OK, a couple things here. I have the 15" antiglare so I sure do love it but...where do you buy one these days? I don't think it's an option because I don't think it can be ordered any more.
Also, lots of college students can get through their program without ever using Windows, I don't think it should be assumed. The need for Windows compatibility has gone down as more required apps now live on the Web, which is platform agnostic.

  • Which is much better for me, MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display or MacBook Air 13"?

Hi! I'm a High School Student, and I really need help in choosing the right MacBook. So which is which?
I'm really confused in choosing which MacBook suites. I have been researching about the specs of each MacBooks; some websites say "MacBook Pro is much better" while the others "MacBook Air is better than the Pro". I'm totally confused! And PLEASE HELP ME!
Here is what I need for a laptop:
*I will use it for Editing Videos and Photos
*sTORAGE for my Documents! (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe)
    *PRINTING documents and stuff
*Great Quality for Movies, Videos, and Music
    *GAMES!!! (Assasin's Creed, Sims, etc.)
    *Other Apllications
    *Storage for my stuff
*Best performance for INTERNET, SOCIAL SITES, & ENTERTAINMENT
    *Handy and Easy to use
*Lightweight ('cause I have to bring it to school for reports and I have to bring i to to different places for conventions or seminars)
*STORAGE for my Photographs, Music, Movies (edited and downloaded)
    *Long Lasting Batteries
    *FAST and  QUICK
I'm really confused, which shal I choose: MacBook Pro because it has the best performance or MacBook Air because it is very convenient.
I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IF YOU HELP ME.

Unfortunately, you mentioned "GAMES!!!" - no Mac notebook is a good gaming machine (sad but true). For everything else, however, I would recommend a MacBook Pro (Retina or non-Retina - whichever you prefer, although my preference is for the non-Retina: it lacks the portability of the Retina but is user upgradeable whereas the Retina 13" machine is limited to 8GB of RAM, soldered onto the logic board, and a 'fixed' storage space).
I haven't looked at the specs but I'm assuming that the Retina model would be only slightly heavier than the Air. But it would out-perform the Air should you desire to try games with it.
Good luck - we get these "what shall I buy" questions all the time but, in the end, it's your decision.
