Hi I am trying to download a previous version of cc through the creative cloud  desk top app. I should be able to do this through the whats new menu although this particular menu does not even show up on my creative cloud desktop app - this is very upsetting as I have deleted my previous version In hopes of reinstalling and now am in a bind - very bad news
Can I download previous versions from the website?

    I just purchased a new computer and synced my creative cloud account.  It didn't download the latest version of premiere and says that I am up to date (which I am not.)  Anyone know why this is? and how to access the update for version 6.0.2?

I tried to download a trial version of Pro, but the installer indicated that "it detected a more fully featured version of the product" - presumably my standard version? - and stopped installation. It is not clear to me what my options are for either upgrading to Pro, or selectively purchasing the "compare documents" plugin (if possible). I am using what is presumably an Enterprise version of acrobat (i.e. my employer owns it, not me) - so not sure what limitations that results in. I think this is a simple question, but would be grateful for advice.

    - You can't install Acrobat Pro alongside Acrobat Standard. You will need to remove Standard to be able to install Pro.
    - You (probably) can't upgrade your license if it's a part of an enterprise license. The entire license will need to be upgraded.
    - It's not possible to install just the "Compare Documents" function as a sort of add-on to Acrobat Standard.

    If you're a Windows user, you should have a Creative Cloud folder listed under your name in Windows Explorer. The image below shows where the folder is when I view Explorer.
    if you don't see this, open up the Creative Cloud application manager, click on the Assets tab, and then the Open Folder button. This will open the folder where you can place files to be synced across your Creative Cloud account on each computer that's actively logged in.

    Downloaded CS6 from the cloud on trial version a few weeks back. During instalation my computer crashed and left it kind of partially installed i think. I deleted the files i could find to try and re-instal. Have managed to get the creative cloud back but when i load it up im not given any options - no apps or home or anything just the shell.   • I have tried multiple times to download Media Encoder CC through the Creative Cloud without success. What can I do next?

    What do I have to do to fix this and get the Media Encoder downloaded. I clicked on the "Learn More" link in the Creative Cloud download utility and this is what is returned to me.

  • If i have deleted my local files, how can i download all my files at once from the creative cloud server?

    Hi,
    My creative cloud files have all been deleted on my machine, all put in the trash (not by me!) I've recovered some but I want to download everything from the creative cloud server before I sync again.  is there anyway to do this? or do I have to download every single file individually, which would take hours......
    I can see all my files on the cloud server but can't figure out why it has dumped all my local files in the trash.

    Just to add that, I had exactly the same issue this morning, so it is certainly a more widespread problem rather than an isolated case.
    For Adobe's benefit, here's a summary of what happened for me:
    All cloud files automatically moved to trash on turning my computer on and auto syncing. All folders remained, but empty.
    Files still existed online through the browser, in the Files section and had not been put into Archive.
    When I got home to my personal Mac, the exact same situation happened as above. Though I made sure to do a backup before connecting to wifi and allowing it to sync!
    Tried signing out and deleting the Creative Cloud files folder, then signing in again, hoping it would re-sync and create all my files again to match what was online, but it just created the directory of empty folders again.
    Was on a call with support for an hour which was painful, with them taking control of my screen but having no idea what to do to fix it.
    As with you guys, I'd like to download all my files again (not including Archive), but as a batch and not one by one online! Hopefully the sync will fix and download the lot again automatically.
    Have you worked out what's wrong yet Adobe?

  • When I go to download photoshop it just takes me to the creative cloud.

    I just got Adobe Creative cloud, and supposedly downloaded photoshop, but it is nowhere to be found. I have lightroom, but cannot find photo shop on my computer and when I press the download button it takes me to the creative cloud application. I paid for photoshop and lightroom adn I only have one, but maybe I'm just confused.

    Creative cloud does not normally just download the applications but also installs them.
    Did you check to see if a [Ps] tile appears in your Start screen?
    Do you have a folder C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit) with Photoshop.exe in it?
    Personally, with Windows 8 I prefer to add a Start Menu back in via a NICE piece of freeware called ClassicShell.  It's harder to lose things with a well-organized Start menu...

    Please try the following steps:
    Windows:
    Please go to C:\Users\(your own user)\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE and rename opm.db file.
    MAC:
    /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename opm.db
    Once you do that then it should ask you to sign in using a different e-mail address.

    I just finsihed downloading the new lightroom CC as apart of my CC subscription and I cannot seem to start it up.

    Log out of your creative cloud app (log out not quit it) and log in again. That fixes this problem for some people.

    How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
    Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
    Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
    Select Lion. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
    Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

    BTW, you will receive email confirmations when someone responds to your question from Apple Support Communities.
