Hi, I am using 10.7.4 and when I use Comand R my system freezes up. I can not repair my startup disk. any ideas?
I am using OnyX and it says I need to repair my startup Disk. When I do Comm +R my system freezes up and I can not do anything. Is there a way to get past this?
If you have a TM backup on an external drive, restart the computer and hold down the option key. You will get a selection of drives. The TM drive has a recovery drive also. I think it will be listed as Mac OSX. Select it and try booting from it. Your internal drive might be bad and not allowing you to start from that recovery drive.

i have my ipod attached to an old, out of date email and when i try to update from my ipod it says "your itunes store password is incorrect" Any ideas why/how to fix?
Try from a computer. You may have to reset your password. If you can't get the comfirmation email then you can use the secret question. Once you can log in then you change the the email address.

I have a IPad Air and when I download any game from Big Fish the game will not open to play . I have tried everything to get the games to work - reboot, delete, restart my IPad everything. I can download games from other places like G5 games play fine. I am using MAC os version of elements 12 with OS 10.9.4 (the latest). When I am importing pictures from a card elements freezes consistently and needs to be voce closed. When I then restart elements it continues to bring the pictures in but this is very tedious and I need to get the matter resolved,

I would do another rename to disable or just delete all the OldFilm.AEX and OldFilm.AEXOLD in that NewBlue Folder.
If you do, please let me know if that OldFilm.AEX regenerates itself the next time you open Premiere Elements 13.
Here is the strange story...at least from my Premiere Elements 13 Windows perspective...never had the No Disc error issue
Here are some details to sort through trying to figure out why you have 2 OldFilm.AEX file in the NewBlue Folder.
1. The original OldFilm.AEX file of Premiere Elements 13 has the date of 9/4/2014 (just before the version was released on 9/24/2014).
After the 13.1 update is done (whenever date), that OldFilm.AEX file has the date of 1/31/2015. I first saw notification of the 13.1 Update
release early in February 2015.
2. Now in Premiere Elements 13.1, if I take my OldFilm.AEX (date 1/31/2015) and disable it by renaming it to OldFilm.AEXOLD, close out of there, and reopen
the program, the OldFilm.AEX is not seen to regenerate. The OldFilm.AEXOLD remains there as its lone self.
3. So, I am thinking that your OldFilm.AEXOLD in the screenshoot is "original equipment" that you disabled to get rid of No disc error.
Why the OldFilm.AEX is there also is not clear, but the dating on it suggests that it came along with the 13.1 Update.
Bottom line: let us try the deletion or disabling one more time and see what happens.

Using Azul media player app on my ipad Apple tv will only display sound but not video from movies. Any ideas on a fix. I set mirroring to on but it still does not display video. It will display photos and video recorded from my iphone.
Here are the steps for AirPlay:
Before starting Azul from your (running iOS 5.x/6.x) home screen where have have all your apps we need to turn on mirroring
On your iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 2 or 3, double-click the Home Button to view your recently-used apps.
Swipe all the way to the right to until you see the icon.
Note: If the icon does not appear, go to the "If AirPlay Mirroring is not visible or available on your mobile iOS device" section.
Tap the icon to see the list of available AirPlay devices.
Enable AirPlay Mirroring in this menu by tapping on an available Apple TV, then sliding the Mirroring slider to ON.
Now you should be seeing your iPad/iPhone on your TV.
Start up Azul now and using the settings icon on the top right corner go to the option that say "TV out" ON.
When you do that you will see an Orange screen
Now click "Done" and play the video you want to watch and it will AirPlay -
After upgrading the new operating system on my Droid Razr M it seems some useful features no longer work such as when typing a message the text anticipates the next word and when trying to delete individual messages from a contact, you can no longer tap and hold to select multiple message you have to delete them individually or the entire thread. Just for the record, both type commands output "/usr/bin/startx" and pacman -Q gives "systemd 215-4".
