i am unable to click on the 'Draw Inside' button at the bottom left to place a pattern into an image that i got off google, how can i place a pattern that i have made into my image?

It only works with a single vector object, not a raster image. My guess is that you have the latter.

I can't click on the icons at the top of a site. What's causing this?

I have firefox and it's having a strange problem today. When I'm on facebook, I can't click on the icons at the top. I can't click the message, friend request, notifications, home, profile icons and can't click the one that allows you to sign out. So i can't even sign out. What I mean by can't click is when I put the cursor over those icons, it doesn't change into the finger. When I left click it anyway, nothing happens. This doesn't happen in internet explorer, but I want to keep using firefox. What's causing this? I also noticed that this doesn't just happen on facebook. I've uninstalled and reinstalled firefox. I restarted the PC. It didn't help.

Move the com.apple.screencapture.plist file out of /username/Library/Preferences/ to the Desktop, log out and back in, and try again.
BTW, use the default 10 point setting for text. Your choice just wastes screen space.

Have you tried to disconnect from the Internet before launching Aperture? Then the MobileMe webpage should not be shown and you should be able to access the Aperture preferences and remove the MobileMe account from the "Preferences > Web" panel.
If this does not succeed, (Force) quit Aperture, log off and log on again, then remove the Aperture Preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist)
from the Preferences Folder in your User Library and try again to launch Aperture. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3805 on how to remove the Preferences.

Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy / paste: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go then move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store. Try purchasing Mountain Lion.

Can't click on the "Choose" button when trying to pick or upload a file

Hi. So I have been having this problem. On Safari when I try to attach a file in an email or change a picture on Facebook I can't click on the "Choose" button when the files come up. All it does is like freeze and have the wheel turn. I can't do anything but hit the force quit where it says Safari (Not Responding) I have upgraded programs, reset safari, cleared cache but I have no idea what else to do. I have also deleted a lot of my psd files and have deleted my Photoshop Program because I thought it was a big file and seems to have slowed down my computer. Can you help me figure out what I can do so I can choose and upload my files? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! Thanks.

Since March 2012 my iphoto 11 trash folder says that I have 13,346 photos in the iphoto trash, but there are no thumb nail copies in the viewer window. I can delete additional photos but clicking on the "empty trash" button. Any solutions?

My system trash finally emptied when I discovered "trash it!" is not longer supported by the most recent osx. Then I found an updated version of Onyx that did work with that trash emptying problem.
I have a total of 5,723 photos in my library. A macdevelopers group recently started suggesting a multi library manager for iphoto to overcome some kind of library quota limitations with iphoto as opposed to "more advanced" photo handling, storing and editing programs. If I went to a mult library manager for iphoto would that cure the apparent incongruent data retrieval problem in iphoto 11 regarding 13,346 phantom photos that will not securely delete?
Are there any other possible solutions out there?

1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).

Left clicking or right clicking on the new tab button does not open a new tab. Common fixes have been unsuccessful. I don't know what's wrong. It's a recent problem, and even though I'm using an older version of Firefox this hasn't been a problem before.

Try uninstalling the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and the current version of Firefox.
