i just bought an ipod touch and i cant fins facetime anywhere on it. how do i fix that
Three possible reasone:
- You just can't find it. Try using the Spotlight search feature on the iPod.
- It is hidden by restrictions. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions to check
- The iPod was officially sold in one of the middle eastern countries that prohibit FT. In that case there is nothing you can do to get FT to appear.

In the past, when I want to refresh a page, I've simply gone to the page reload icon on the toolbar. On the new version, I can't fin the reload icon. You could also benefit from the looking at the article on [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars customizing the tool bar]. That will show you not only how to verify that you have the refresh button, but give you options on where it lives as well.

The governments in some middle eastern countries have banned Facetime and it is disabled on iphones purchased in those countries. The countries include KAS, UAE and others. There is no way to get Facetime on such phones (for example it cannot be downloaded and installed) and taking the phone to another country does not cause Facetime to reappear on such phones. In support.apple.com/kb/ts3367 it says “Note: FaceTime may not be available, or may become unavailable, on devices purchased or used in certain countries, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Check your device's region of purchase for more information.” -

Check Settings>General>Restrictions. Make sure you don't have it disabled in restrictions.
If you don't have it disabled there, look at Settings>General>About. What does it say for Model?
If the phone originally came from some countries in the Middle East, there is no facetime. It is banned by law in UAE and KSA and may be restricted on phones from other countries in the Middle East if used outside the country of origin or with a foreign SIM. -

You have to have the Find My iPhone app installed on your touch, and you also have to have it turned on in the Location Services.

You've used the wrong name for the folder that holds the html page.

Is what it is trying to find (and it doesn't exist).
www.artworksforyouth.org redirects to www.artworksforyouth.com which then redirects to your iWeb page.

No, the SN will only help identify the iPod as yours IF it is recovered

My PC got a virus and I had to reinstall windows from scratch so I lost most of my music. I had a backup program that died in the middle of it so only half came back. the only place that I have all the songs is on the ipod. if I let it sinc it will loose the half that I do not have.
Any ideas on which direction I should go?If your iPod is set to update automatically you need to take care connecting to an empty iTunes. You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes installed hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys together. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. Here is help for the operating system:
If you are locked to iOS 3 then you have an iPod Touch 1st Gen.
If you are locked to iOS 4 then you have an iPod Touch 2nd Gen.
If you are locked to iOS 5 then you have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen.
If you are locked to iOS 6 then you have an iPod Touch 4th Gen.
If you can get iOS 7 and have an iPhone 5 sized screen [bigger] you have the current iPod Touch 5th Gen.
I assume since it says you have iOS 5.1.1 you have an iPod Touch 3rd Gen.
Also, you may want to sync it so iTunes can tell you or you can look at the model number on the back.

You should be able to recover the media with the tips in this post from forum regular Zevoneer but I'm not sure what the implications are for your application settings. You can probably transfer your purchases into a newly authorised library, backup the device, recover any other media using third party tools, then restore the device from the backup. That should switch the assocation of the device to the new library but it is not something I've personally tested.
When you get it all working, make a backup!
