I Can not open App Store on my iPad mini ISO 8.1

    Have you tried:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store
Otherwise what exactly happens when you try to open the app?
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and sign out and sign back in
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • How can i access app store funds on ipad with different apple id to purchase app for iphone?

would like to have one, rather than two, apple id for both ipad and iphone. can't figure out how to delete id for iphone and assign same one as ipad.
want to purchase app on iphone. can't access funds available on ipad.

Singin into iCloud setting with tha same ID to sync infos (contacts, calendar etc...) if you want. Do the same for Message, facetime and iTunes&App Stores (that is what you ask for) settings.

  • Can not get App Store icon my Ipad front display

    Thanks for your support,
till i can not find out the App Store icon in my ipad home screen,
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that you didn't disable installing apps.
    i check it On,
if i want to enter then need to enter passcode, but i do not know the passcode.
    please give me a solution.
then i try by Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
this ok, but in my ipad no icon for Apps Store.
    awaiting your confirmation reply.

I don't think you understand. You only needed to check restrictions in case you had been using restrictions. If you we're not using restrictions, then you could not have disabled installing of apps. There is no need to turn it on, IF it was turned on and you were not using it.
If you were not using restrictions and you reset the home screen layout, and neither of those worked for you, something is wrong. What you are saying doesn't make sense.

My iPod touch 4th gen. Keeps giving me the error message "cannot connect to the app store when I sign in. I can open the app store and browse it but I can't download anything. I have full signal strength with my wi-fi and safari is working perfect. I turned it off and restarted it 3 times now. I have an iPad 2 and the app store works flawlessly with it. What is going on?

Same here on my lpad2. Can access the web just fine from browsers but cannot install new apps or updates in appl store.  Seeing a few others reporting same issue tonight so likely an apple server issue and staff will notice it in network monitors and fix it...sometime this weekend.

  • How can i re-download the app store on my ipad 2?

My friend deleted the app store on my ipad 2, i tried restoring it but didnt seem to work, does anyone know how to redownload it?

The App Store can't be deleted. The icon may have been moved to another page or placed in an App folder. Do a search for the icon.
It's also possible that a restriction on the App Store has been created. See Settings > General > Restrictions.

  • Can not open app store in iPad 3

why I can not open app store in iPad 3

IF you get app update notifications, are you able to use the App Store from the Updates Tab? Try closing the App Store and reset your iPad. You will not lose any data.
In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • I am running 10.7.5 on an imac and I want to upgrade to Yosemite but I have no app store on my computer. Is there a way I can get the app store on my imac?

I am running 10.7.5 on an imac and I want to upgrade to Yosemite but I have no app store on my computer. Is there a way I can get the app store on my imac?

If you don't have it then you will have to reinstall Lion:
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite without erasing drive
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks, or Yosemite
OS X Yosemite- Reinstall OS X
OS X Mavericks- Reinstall OS X
OS X Mountain Lion- Reinstall OS X
OS X Lion- Reinstall Mac OS X
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
if possible because it isthree times faster than wireless.
Then you can download and install Yosemite if your computer meets the system requirements:
    Upgrading to Yosemite
You can upgrade to Yosemite from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Yosemite can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for FREE.
    Upgrading to Yosemite
To upgrade to Yosemite you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Download Yosemite from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Yosemite is free. The file is quite large, over 5 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
        OS X Mavericks/Yosemite - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Yosemite
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
         Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.

  • Os x mavericks 10.9 can't open app store

I have updated to OS X 10.9 last night as of this morning I can not accsses app store. I did all updates from the app store after the 10.9 update and left the system over night. Today I tried to open app store and nothing, I have rebooted the system 2 times with no luck. Any help would be great.

I have the very same issues after upgrading to Mavericks. Mail, Terminal, AppStore, Preview, Calendar, Contacts, Facetime, FontBook, Image Capture, Messages, TextEdit, and who knows what else, are not working. Mail is opening if i disable all the accounts in System Preferences -> Internet Accounts, but as soon as i click anywhere in the program it crashes. I made the upgrade without worries since i never had any issues getting an upgrade like this but it seems there are too many people with problems to be just isolated cases. We gonna have to wait and see what Apple has to say about all this.

As far as I can see there are no facilities in Sri Lanka.   You may have to use India.
Call or eMail the India help section for advice.   080 2574 4646
Incidentally, the one retailer in Sri Lanka does not have the best of reputations according to the WOT guide.
