Hi, I have a trouble with my icloud account, I can´t sign in
I can´t sign in to my icloud´s account
I, and it seems many others from earlier posts, are having the same problem too. For a couple of days now I cannot sign into icloud using the icloud control panel. I just get the spinning icon next to the sign in button and nothing happens. I know my user names and passwords are correct as I can access icloud via internet explorer (not Firefox) but I need to do it via the control panel to get it to sync with Outlook Calendar, which it suddenly stopped doing a few days ago. Iphone and ipad still sync to icloud no problems. It's just the sign in via PC that's the problem.
Is it server side - an Apple issue? Reinstalling makes no difference.
Any suggestions?

You cannot. This is the new security feature of iOS 7, so stolen iPhones are rendered useless. Go to Apple Store or contact Apple Support for help.

The calender on my iPhone 4 with iOS 6 no longer syncs with iCal 4.0.4 on my mac OS 10.6.8. However it is syncing with my iCloud account. Can someone help me with this?
FYI: It seems it was a network problem with my WinXP PC. After complete deletion and new installation of XP and iTunes my iPhone will be recognized correctly, Wifi synchronization works (mostly) fine.

Does Handoff work with only iCloud accounts or can I use my personal email address?
Im trying to use the Handoff feature but i don't get the option to. I have set it up on my phone to work and on Mac, I can receive calls from my phone onto my MacBook Air but I can't use it for my mail. Im using a NTL world account if that makes a difference.

Have a Mini with "Default User" account. Can an admin account be created instead of using that?
I purchased an Early 2009 Mini on eBay. The seller reinstalled Leopard on it (that's what it came with) after erasing his stuff on it. He put "Default User" as the user name, but no password. He said for security that I should make an account with a password.
When I upgraded to Snow Leopard, I thought it would have an option to create a user name and password. It didn't. Can I make up another user account as the administration account; then use a third user account for documents, pics, etc. (not to disturb the admin account) and forget using the "Default User" account?
I really hate to take the time to erase and reinstall Leopard and Snow Leopard just to remove the "Default User" account.

silverado93In order to create another account the account you are using needs to have admin privileges. Does it? If so you unlock the Accounts prefpane by clicking the lock in the lower left and entering the admin password (hence the reason the account you're using needs to be an administrator). Then you can create other accounts and click the checkbox for an account that says "Allow user to administer this computer".
Not you can change the admin password for an account by using booting from your installer disk.
Now having said all that are you currently in a state where you have a single account that is not an admin account? -
My wife is cruising me everyday about her email not being sync with her MacBook and iPhone. I can't seem to match/sync them up. Any suggestion? I am using a none Mac.com, iCloud.com email address, is this allowable?

You can only "downgrade" if you wipe (erase) your hard drive. So, if you made a bootable clone or have an up to date Time Machine backup with 10.7.3, you can boot from the bootable clone, erase the internal drive, and clone your old system back. Not 100% sure about the steps using Time Machine since I don't use it,but there are excellent articles available which I can link to.
As far as I know, the problem with installing an earlier version would be that once you check Software Update, you can no longer choose to download a Combo update of a different/earlier version since Lion is only available through MAS. So, if you check it, it will most likely only offer you the current/latest version. -

When i bought my iphone 4 last year i set it up with a icloud account that i do not remeber...or it's been erased!
Since then i used another mail account and everything was ok until my i updated my iphone with ios 7.2 and when it restarted it asks for the account that i first set it up with.
I can't seem to find a way around it...it drives me nuts i spent a whole day on this thing and nothing seems to work!
Anybody ???You have to delete the old account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

That sounds like a settings issue to me. Check with your IT depatment to make sure you have it configured properly.

No it is not possible. Content purchased from the iTunes Store is permanently tied to the account from which it was originally purchased, and Apple does not provide a way to change it.

So, apparently I have two Apple IDs associated with my iPhone. One is an old aol address that got hacked and was shut down. Even aol doesn't recognize the email address anymore, and the password doesn't work. It's associated with my iCloud account, so now I can't access that account. My other Apple ID is with everything associated with my iPhone and everything works just fine. But now I can't get to my iCloud stuff. Has this ever happened to anyone else. The guy at the Apple store says he's never heard of it.
Does the alert refer to "Local Items?"

A bit later I discovered that Photo Stream was not working on my Windows 7 PC either. If I opened the iCloud control panel and put a check in the box to turn on Photo Stream, and then closed and reopened the control panel, the check mark was gone again. Also, nothing happened when I clicked on the options button beside the Photo Stream check box. I already had version 2 of the iCloud control panel so I could not upgrade further.
I ended up uninstalling the iCloud control panel, rebooting, downloading a fresh copy from Apple, and reinstalling it. This worked and I now have photo stream working on my Windows 7 system as well. -
my iphone is connected to a old account that i have used in a while i have a new icloud i tried reseting my phone but now i can get in becuase it linked in with my old account how can i fix this so i can log in with my new account i reset my phone but i did it before on my new phone but this old is link to a account that i set up when i was so much younger can you advise what to do?
ThanksGo into Settings App and turn OFF Find My iPhone. It will ask for your old password, but in the future you can use your new Apple ID account. First step is re-start the finder
1. Press command-option-esc simultaneously
2. Select Finder
