Hi I have an Ipod Touch and I tried to use Imessage and it wouldnt let me send the message

I have an Ipod Touch and it wont let me send a message in Imessage. And do u have to send it to another Ipod touch or can u send it to a normal phone?

The Messages app will only send Messages to other Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPod touch or iPad) that have iOS 5 and have activated the Messages app.

How come my iMessages aren't sending anymore I have a iPod touch 5th gen. It was working and then like 5 minutes later it would not send any messages it always said not delivered even when I press retry and it doesn't send at all I even updated my iOS.

If you previous synced to the computer then you may be able to recovery use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:
Disabled Recovery-must use syncing computer.
Otherwise y have to erase the iPod
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Depends on where the device was purchased.
If it was purchased in Israel, take it to an authorized service center in Israel.
If it was purchased elsewhere, you'll need to take it back to the country it was purchased in for support.

Help. I have an iPod touch 3 which will no longer sync properly with my iTunes library. The iPod will sync a small proportion of the music in my library but not all of the checked songs. Also the capacity keeps going from half full to completely full.

I have an iPod touch which no longer syncs normally. It will let me have a small proportion of my music library even though I have 2000 songs checked. Says its syncing but doesn't add the rest of my music. It lets me have my podcasts but only let's me have one movie, I appear to have only used half the capacity but if I check even one movie the capacity suddenly shoots up to full. I have tried restoring, resetting and have checked all my settings. I'm hoping someone out there has some ideas.

I have an ipod touch 4 version ios 6.1.6 and I do not see outlook as an email choice to add on my ipod. How do I fix this?

When I go to add my outlook email it is not listed as a choice so I click add new account and then once I enter my information, It says incorrect and I used the information settings off of here. I am using ios6

Brought a second hand ipod touch 4th gen, tried to restore it and the battery died now it will not charge or switch on

Hello everyone I brought a second hand ipod touch 4th gen and it all worked fab except it wouldn't let me put any new apps on it so my friend suggested I restore it which I did but while it was restoring the battery died. Now it doesn't seem to be charging and I have left it for ages through the laptop and tried it through a geniune apple plug in charger but its not working. When you plug in the cable to the laptop or plug the little grey apple comes up on the screen but only stays on for about 5 maybe 6 seconds. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried all the trouble shooting suggestions on apple but none of its worked, Shall we just bin it and learn from our mistakes.

ITunes stops responding when sign in on laptop, but not on iPod touch. It tries to start downloads and then freezes???

I bought an album from the store in iTunes, and it froze, every time i now open iTunes it works fine, untill i sign in to my account, at which point the 'wheel of doom' appears, and iTunes stops responding. However i can (and have) access my store account from my ipod touch, and have downloaded the material, but this has not cleared the downloads through for my laptop, and the same problem occurrs every time i sign in.
Any help would be much appreciated, i have checked my connection and firewall settings, and made sure that all the software is up to date too ???
