Batteries do have a finite life span.
That said there have been some users reporting battery issues but but there's no way to know what or why or how it happens.
You can try a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. Let it reboot and see if that helps.
If you have spares, you can try to swap out your charger and cable, just to see if there's any difference with them changed.
Another thing you can try is a restore. That's basically where you back it up and then restore it from a backup. (something to do a bit more research into if you plan to do it).
if you don't want to do that then you can make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out.

I have recently purchased a Panasonic Digital GX1 camera and cannot import images into iPhoto as I could previously from either a compactflash or SD card using RAW. The GX1 uses a SDHC card. When I attempt to import the taken RAW images iPhoto informs me that the images are not in a readable format yet they are RAW images. Has anyone else experienced this problem with a Panasonic DX1 camera?

What version of the OS and of iPhoto?

There are several ways
Shoot JPEG rather than RAW
Use the Canon software (or other third party software like Adobe) to convert images prior to importing to iPhoto
Wait until your camera is supported

There have been similar reports, yes. You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

My iPad4 lives in a smart case, it never even goes out of the house. I baby it to be honest. So why, I ask you, did the volume button suddenly stop working?
