Hi. I have order a seconhand CS6 Master Collection MAC.

I have used an insurance from Blocket/Schenker so I have 24-hours to test my goods. Is where anything that I should look out for?
Is Serial / Registrationskey on the dvd or in the packed? Has Adobe anywhere were i can check the serial?
The seller says that it is unused. But I really want to be safe!
I hope you all could give me some tips

Language change cs6 master collection mac (cc application manager)

hello there,
in order to follow some tutorials on the web i want to change the language of my (german) master collection (mac) - at least for after effects.
for that it usually used to work by just renaming the de_DE file to en_US in package content/ressources/amtlanguages or just by placing a ae_force_english.txt to the documents folder. but since my application manager updated to cc, adobe checks the license every time i open the apps. now those "hacks" leads automatically to the situation, that it starts as a trial version. when i try to enter my license key it says something like "your license is only for german language". i really searched the internet for that issue - but i could hardly find something.
so please - could someone tell me if it's still possible to change the language at least for after effects with cc application manager? yes, i read about the possibility to swap my whole license to english by contacting the adobe support. but really? it's almost 2015 - and i can't choose english as the primary language like i can in every other app on my mac? don't want to wait 2 days for response and then download and install a new version. above that it's not very practical that all programs are in english then - photoshop for example is alright for me in german.

I have a trial of CS6 Master Collection that has ran out and I bought a CS6 Production Pro do I have to uninstall Master collection first with all its scripts or can I just put the license in for Production Pro activating only those programes?

The question is in the topic sorry.

Suite licensing is specific and unlike with single programs just inputting the serial number won't cut it. You will have to uninstall the Master Collection and then install the Production Premium package.

Many people use a font manager to organize a large collection of fonts, and sometimes these cause problems in ID. You might not realize that the font manager has installed a plugin in ID, but I think you would know if you added any other program extensions to help you work.
Can you show us a new crash report since the 8.0.2 update?
What happens if you start the Mac with the Shift key held down to prevent extensions from loading? What happens if you go to the System settings and create a new user, then restart the Mac and log in with the new user?

CS6 Master Collection invalid registration

After registering and using the CS6 Master Collection (Mac) for most of a year, today it thinks it's a trial version and needs a valid serial number. But, it isn't accepting the serial number I originally registered with. It says it's an invalid number. So, now, nothing opens.
I double-checked my Products and Services, and it shows Master Collection 6 Mac, Registered April 3, 2013. I used the serial number shown on the page, and it doesn't work.
Any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated.

I have to ammend my original post. It appears that the problem is entirely with Adobe Application Manager. When I launch an Adobe CS6 app, Application Manager interrupts the launch telling me I have to register the trial version of CS6 (it's registered already). When I quit Application Manager, the CS6 app I want still launches and works fine.
So, I guess what I really need is help convincing Application Manager that my copy of CS6 Master Collection was registered back in April.

Yes installing only the Illustrator trial would use the trial for Illustrator. If you have installed the Master Collection though then your trial of Master Collection has already begun. I would recommend using the remainder of your Master Collection trial for the moment.

Ich habe den kompletten Download der CS6 Master Collection (MAC) zuhause. Nun bin ich im Internet immer wieder über Angebote für eine englische Version von CS6 MC gestolpert. Und ich frage mich, ob ich meine deutsche Version mit einem englischen Key aktivieren kann.
Leider konnte ich zu diesem Thema keine allgemein gültige Aussage im WWW gefunden. Auch die Seiten von Adobe lassen sich dazu nicht aus...
Manche sagen es geht, andere sagen wiederrum, dasses nicht geht, weil die Lizenz sprachgebunden ist. Diese Aussagen sind aber alle relativ alt gewesen (2009) und bezogen sich auf andere Adobe Produkte.

Tasc_redleader which update exactly are you trying to apply? Your screen shot indicates an update to Photoshop CS6 but your installation log appears to be for Extension Manager CS6.

Your CS6 must have been purchased as an upgrade. What it is asking you to select/provide is the name/serial number of the previous version you purchased that qualifies you to install and activate the CS6 upgrade version... this would be likely be one of CS3 thru CS5.5.

start at the top and work your way down applying applicable fixes until your problem is resolved.

"Installer failed to initialize. File not found." or "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing files."
first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

I have just re-installed CS6 Master and it would only doewnload 1gb of the 3gb of updates before it refused to download the remaing 2.2gb because it couldn't update the Application Manager. WHY? It was updating okay before I re-installed it.

Further, it sends you top the Analyser which is no longer supported and it sends you to a page for CS6 which refers you back to it at the bottom. THere was no reference to Application Manager in the log file, only Extension, Restart and Font managers.

Eventually found the patch on Google Search. Its in CC and includes the CS versions.ApplicationManager8.0_all.exe
