Define storage. Disk, Random Access memory or a combination. Installing software consumes some disk space but does not disable or remove RAM.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back. -

I'm having the same problem. Had to restore it yesterday, and now it's this problem again.
Seems to happend over night. Maybe a sync/backup gone wrong.

i have an iphone 4 and after updating it to the ios5 software, it will not allow me to activate nor allow me to leave the setup page. i plugged it into itunes and it is stuck there too... i cannot even restore it. does anyone know what to do?
I have had this same issue but thankfully fixed it. Follow he steps below:
Sync your iPhone with you iTunes therefore your info is backed up. Unplug your phone.
Go to Settings > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
Once your phone has reset and come back on answer the question until it asks if you want to back up from itunes Click this then plug your phone in.
After everything has sync'd back to your phone everything should work fine.

Recently when I connect my iphone 4 to my Mac for normal synchronising i found after a few minutes all my purchased apps were deleted and gone ? I have no problem to retrieve them back but that is exhausting and I am feeling sick ? what is the problem ? please help me and thank you
Make sure Sync Apps is checked on the Apps tab of your iTunes sync settings and that all the apps are checked that you want on your phone. Also be sure that your computer is authorized for all Apple IDs used to purchase your apps (and other media) in Store>Authorize this Computer.

Ok, it sounds like you are getting to the final step. (i.e., Your on your iPhone, showing a good Wi-Fi connection, you are using the App Store and have selected the App you want. The small Icon for your App is showing a bar at the bottom that has an open "fill bar" that is going to track the download and installation of the App. But at this point you get an Error Message. The Error Message Says, "?????" Try again latter? What?
Just for fun, try downloading the App while you and your iPhone are as close to the Wi-Fi Router as possible. Lets see if you are just experiencing a weak Wi-Fi signal. This can cause App Downloads to fail. -
But it can auto sync when i connect it to my old laptop. what's the problem that it can't auto sync and when i did a backup in my new laptop, it was corrupted the next day and i was forced to use back a backup which i did in my old laptop 4 months ago. do i have to reinstall the itunes? will my backups be corrupted after i sync again? pls guide.
P.S/ its the latest version of the itunes whenever i did the backups.iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

My Ipod touch is frozen. The screen shows only USB cable with arrow point to the word Itunes. What is the problem? This is the second touch I have had that has this same problem. HELP!
This time try restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod instead of from backup. You may have some corruption that is causing the problem and it may now be in the backup. If the problem persists after restoring to factory defaults/new iPod. then you likely have a hardware problem and ana ppointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

When I start mozilla firefox web browser, sometimes I see a message saying that "a Mozilla Firefox is already running, please close it or restart your system". As a matter of fact, there is no firefox browser running at that time. Since I cannot do anything about it, I have to restart my computer before I can use the web browser, which bothers me dearly. I have lost my itunes library after updating it. Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling it and it gets so far then tells me that it cannot be installed because MSVCR80.dll is not installed on my pc. I have no idea what this is and have googled it, followed links to sites that say they can fix it, only for them to scan, tell me I have 3 thousand issues and then want me to pay $30 dollars to fix it for me. This message also appears on firing up my pc too.

When you go to Manage Storage, does it have something at the top like "19.1 GB of 25 GB available"? I only have a Mail account with 5.3 GB in it and a Backups account with 553 MB in it. Obviously, these don't add up to 19.1 GB. There was no change in any of these numbers when I deleted all the same files you mention. With the free Mobile Me storage expiring next month, this is something I'm pretty concerned about.

I have installed firefox 3.2.64. When i click on the desktop icon nothing happens. The windows task manager says mozilla firefox is running but I can't see it anywhere. What might the problem be?A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I bought iphone 3gs in singapore last year,I had no problem to use it in Singapore & Malaysia but after i upgrade to ios5,i can't use it in malaysia.It will automatic restart my phone itself. If it automatically restarts the phone firmware is corrupt. Restore the phone with iTunes and set up as a new phone, do not restore your backup, which is likely where the corruption is. If it then works you can try restoring just the backup. If that breaks it again you know where the problem is; you will have to start over and manually reinstall your content.
To restore just the backup, right click on the phone's name in iTunes and select "restore from backup" -
The battery of my iPhone 5 easily discharges even when not in use. The unit was tested by Apple and passed the Battery Health Test although the performance showed otherwise. The battery deterioration started 11 months after purchase and is not covered by Apple warranty. What is the problem of the iPhone5 and would appreciate suggestions on how to address this problem. By the way, I have a 2 year old iphone 4S with a battery performance as good as when it was bought two years ago.
