Hi. I have rented and downloaded a film from the iTunes store but every time I try to play it I get the message: An unknown error occurred (-42110). Please try again later. I've been trying for two days!
Can anybody help me with the above question? There doesn't seem to be an email address for simple queries about services that don't work!

When responding to an e-mailed invitation to join a Photo Stream I eventually get to a message stating " A problem occurred. Please try again later" Havng tried several times I still get the same message. What am I doing wrong?
I have solved my problem although I do not understand why !!! I simply asked my son (who sent the original invitation) to send it again but to my iCloud address (which is known to iPhoto) and it worked. I don't know if this might be of use to anyone else but you never know. (Who said computers, even Apple, don't have a "magic" chip buried somewhere inside them ).

I keep getting this, "can not contact itunes server, check internet connection." every time I try to update itunes. Well, the connection is good.
A simple search of the forums would have revealed many similar threads with the same error and appropriate troubleshooting and resolution.

I have been trying for two days to download the new icloud 4 that was offered at the same time as the new iTunes just prior to iOS8 release.
I keep getting installer package error messages, I uninstalled the previous version to see if that was the problem to now find that I cant reinstall it as the new version is the only one available.
Im using Windows 7, I'm assuming Im not the only one with this problem.
Would a complete uninstall and reinstall of Apple software be of any benefit or is that just a cure all solution when nobody has an answer?@Dakotaep

Error 3 is usually associated to security software settings. The following Knowledge Base article provides some great information and links for troubleshooting the issue:

Configure your security software
Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.
Common errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.

I am unable to load my Facebook account to share using iPhoto. I continuously get the following error message when attempting to do so: "Unknown error occurred. Please try again later".
In iPHoto preferences ==> accounts delete your Facebook account and re-enter it

I have purchased and downloaded a movie but when I try to view it on my PC or my Apple TV it says that I haven't purchased anything, yet when I go into my iTunes account I can see my purchase.
Frustrating or what?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?Details, please. Purchased from where, the iTunes Store? If so, does the movie appear in iTunes, and if it does what happens when you select the movie and click Play?
It's really difficult to offer advice with so little information to go on, so please post back and give us the complete situation. We can then probably come up with suggestions.

So Migrating to a new Macbook pro (retina) has cause a few bugs.
I have the same version of Iphoto running on both my old MBP and new REtina MBP. The difference is that the Retina MBP is running mountain lion and the old MBP runs Snow Leopard.
The Snow Leopard Iphoto app can login to Facebook without a prob
The Moutain Lion Iphoto app give the: "Cannot login to Facebook: An Unknown error has occured. PLease try again later"
Iphoto app is allowed on Facebook.
Since Iphoto was the same on both macs: I copied over the entire library from the old computer to the new one.
The library loads up fine in the new MBP.
I tried deleting the Facebook account and re-adding it on Iphoto. It still gives the same error.
Can anyone help.?
Thanks in advanceI have the same issue, but its happened in the last week or so on my older MBP with Snow Leopard - I know its authorised on FB and my password is correct! Just thought I'd share as it may not be a ML issue alone.

I am trying to buy Logic Pro 9 from the app store, but every time I try I get an error
I just bought a brand new MacBook Pro 15" that runs OS X Lion and I am trying to download Logic Pro 9, but when I try to download it all I get is an error window that says "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (100)" I have tried again later. And later again. Still the same thing. My payment does not get processed and the download never starts. I also have no firewalls up or anything else that should be getting in the way. Not really sure what to do and was wondering if anybody is having this problem.
In PC/Mac iTunes left pane select iTunes Store and at the top select music.

but I would like to do a select on this result but do not want to use a create view as if more than one person access this page at a time then if the servlet tries to create the view an error will occur.
I would like to do the following select statement on the results of the query above..

Is this possible, im using postgres..

CS5 InDesign crashing when selecting text
