When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

I Have a new mac book pro with OS X 10.9.5 and now my CS4 is Not Working anymore. It tells me to Contact Adobe Support regarding the licence - but that Seems impossible. Any idea how to solve this?

GoLive wirste wohl gar nicht zum laufen kriegen. ohnehin würde man es nicht mehr verwenden, weil es noch nicht mal CSS2 voll unterstützt geschweige denn HTML 5 und andere moderne Webstandards. Wenn überhaupt, dann findeste vielleicht noch 'ne OEM CD von Strato oder 1und1 bei eBay. Die haben das damals mit jedem neuen Hostingvertrag rausgehauen. Aber wie gesagt, es ist den Aufwand nicht wert. Illustrator sollte sich durchaus installieren lassen. Eventuell einfach nochmal die Installer im Win XP Kompatibilitätsmodus laufen lassen...

Hi I have mac os x 10.6.6 and need to update however keep getting the message " software update server ( 172.22.13.4 ) is not responding". My internet connections are all working. Any ideas how to solve this?
If you have enough room on the boot drive, head to System Preferences > Accounts and create another Admin Account, log out and into it and try your Software Update again.
If this doesn't work, connect a Ethernet cable to the router or modem (power off/on) and try again.
If this doesn't work then run through this list of fixes.

Do you have a copy of it anywhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, or on a backup of your library ? If you have it on a backup then you should be prompted to authorise the account (and I think that the id will show) if you try to add it to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library. -

You may have t opurchase one. Some only do a limited number of transfers without paying.
- Make a backup of yur iPod by connecting the iPod to the computer and right clicking on the iPod under devices in iTunes and selecing Backup.
- Restore the iPod from that backup. -
Hello, I have transferred my Acrobat XI Pro from old MAC to the new one. After the transfer can not open any PDF file. Any idea how to solve this?

Could you please specify how exactly did you transfer Acrobat from one MAC to other.
You might need to deactivate the software from your old machine and then activate it on the new one with the same serial number (for Acrobat license) or Adobe credentials (for Acrobat subscription).
If you have done the same way, then let me know if you are able to open Acrobat itself.
Do you get any specific error message while opening a PDF?

People have posted a number of issues recently with HP printers and the TC.
Do the normal stuff.
1. Wireless name in the TC by default is not SMB compatible.. make it short no spaces pure alphanumeric.
2. Lock the channel.. the TC on auto can go crazy.. fix it to 1, 6, or 11 in turn.
3. Test without security.. if it will not join without security.. you can be pretty sure it never will join with.
4. If you get nowhere.. highly probable.. lock the wireless mode to a/n - b/g
This is reducing 2.4ghz to G compatibility. Much more likely to work than N.
If after all this you have started having ticks in your cheeks and approaching nevous breakdown levels.. give up.. the TC is not 100% compatible with the windows world.. and ALL HP belong to the windows world.
The solution is simple.. a cheap wireless router.. not apple.. your average garden day, netgear, dlink, even a belkin.. although that is the bottom of the barrel.. in wan bypass. ie fix the IP to same range as the TC.. turn off dhpc.. and plug LAN TC to LAN wireless router. Setup the wireless on this.. fixed channel.. G wireless will be fine.. suitable network name and security.. The HP printer will then be available to the network.. and you didn't even have to slit your wrists. -
My Bluetooth won't work automatically when I turn on my car radio unless I press "Not Connected" on my phone bluetooth even though it is on. Any ideas how I can make this an automatic function when the radio and bluetooth are on?

I have recently fully updated my mac to 10.8.2 and i am trying to install a small facebook application but every time i come to chose the disk it says ' OS X facebook developer preview can not be installed on this disk. thanksThat may be the new Mountain Lion "sandbox" protective software kicking in, possibly, because ML "thinks" that App doesn't meet ML's new strict security requirements. A common phenomena. If you feel the 3rd party App is really OK, you can override this feature and install the new App by holding down the Command key when you click to install the new App. That's one possibility for the error message appearing. If not, another possibility is that that Developer Preview software package requires some previous piece of software be installed prior to downloading this Preview. You would have to check the Facebbok websiste's Developer Forums for help if this is the case.
