That is priceless!!! Thanks! I sure needed a good laugh after spending/wasting hours & days trying to either get my c6280 to give up on its Ink System Failure fixation, or find a decent replacement. Unfortunately I need the Smart Web Printing feature that I guess only HP has, or I'd try a different brand. And now even HP has very few models with that available.
My error msg is a little different from those previously stated, but close: 0xc18a0201. Even tho there were frustrations with my c6280, I did like several of its unique features which are hard to find now under $100. I hate how HP (& I suppose other brands also) are CONSTANTLY changing models & then of course ink cartridges.
Oh heavens, I've had the c6280 a whopping 2 1/2 years! I'm sure they want us poor slobs to have to buy a new one every year & a day! To say nothing of the exorbitant prices for ink. And now if this one is really dead in the water, I have SIX unused #02 ink cartridges which I cannot return---I got them in a combo pack, & for some reason have wound up with THREE lite pink & THREE lite blue cartridges, while having to buy extras of the other colors, that ran out before the others!!! Yeah, & what's with that not being able to print in BLACK if a color runs out????
Anyway I really loved your essay! It's a classic! And says it all! I hate that we have to be 'slaves' to the electronic 'wonders'!!!

Are you able to view the purchase history on the account that you've been using, and see what prices show on them (e.g. if the store's listed price or price plus tax) : Store > View Account menu option on a computer's iTunes, then 'see all' link next to the Purchase History section.

You can store pictures and documents in Dropbox or Google drive. These are cloud storage apps that keep your information stored off the phone, but available any time. You can send pages documents to either app in a different format for editing.
make sure you delete old messages, phone logs, email, as they take up space also. -
Please All. Am so scared to say I someone stole my Ipad and till now I haven't set my eyes on that ipad. I know quite sure that as I updated to iOS 7.0.2, I turned on my find my ipad feature. Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device) -
I purchased a book on one macbook in my itunes account. I tried to open it on another account while logging into itunes account. The book does not appear.
I have tried updating purchases, the bottom at the bottom-update purchases from another device. Still does not appear.If it's an audiobook then you will need to copy it over from the first computer to the second computer - audiobooks are currently one-time only downloads, so they won't appear under the Purchased link for re-downloading. If you copied it onto a device from the first computer then you should be able to copy it off that device to the second computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. If it's not on a device and both computers are on the same wifi network then you should be able to copy it over via home sharing (there are instructions on this page), or you can copy it to, for example, a flash drive (you can find it's location on the first computer by control-clicking it in your iTunes library and selecting 'Show In Finder') and then add it to the second computer's iTunes (File > Add To Library).
If it's an ibook then you should be able to re-download it from the store : re-downloading. -

Can i re-add my device to my icloud account from another device ?
i lost my iphone 4s ios 7.0.1 it was stolen . i signed in to my icloud from another device and tried find my iphone the mobile was offline but i requested erase my iphone then i knew that after erasing i wouldn't be able to locate it i read that no way to stop the erase request ( even if it isn't erased yet ) but i read that i can stop erasing by deleting my device from account . if i deleted it can i re-add it by any way or is there any way to stop erase request ?

Some have reported that removing the device from Find my phone stops the erase command, however I haven't verified this.
If you remove a device from Find my phone, there is no reason it can't be added back at a later date, but this must be done from the phone itself. -

I have always been very weary of fake emails and can easily spot the ones that get through the spam filters but for the first time in my 25 plus years memory of using email, I though a fake email was genuine.
Ok, granted the email was supposedly from Apple so there's an implied level of trust there and I had updated my Apple ID details hours before, but it was only after doing a double take at the url link in the email I realised it was fake. It was pointing to an IP address (http://104.145.233.95/..etc) and not the usual https://www.apple.com/..etc.
I just wandered how may Apple users, especially new ones would have unwittingly compromised their Apple ID details by this scam. I would love to see Apple doing more to make its users aware of scams directed at them.
