Hi, I'm new to JavaFX, do we have any textmate bundle of JavaFX?
coz i like using textmate instead of netbeans. But i can't find one from google, JavaFX is really quite young
There was only one thing I could find on this topic: A forum post, where the autor states, that he has created a textmate bundle for JavaFX. He has added his E-Mail to that post, so you might be able to contact him. Look here:

Anyways, JavaFX is very young, and it will take some time until Editors and IDEs support it. Personally, I'm still hoping for the JavaFX Eclipse Plugin to be better than the current Netbeans one.

My new iphone 5s doesn't have any volume when I call someone. I can see from the screen that it is calling them, but I cannot hear anything. Also when they answer my call, I cannot hear them.
Turn the volume up... in call volume and sounds (ring, notifications, etc) are seperate volume controls.

My songs that I purchased on my itunes account from my dad's computer will not play on my new computer, I have access to my entire account but can only play songs purchased using my new computer. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you authorized the Computer to your Apple ID?
If not, sign on to iTunes.
Then got to the Store menu option at the top of the screen (CTL+B if it is not showing), and click on it to display the dropdown, and select Authorize this computer.
If that doesn't work, then sign on your Dad's iTunes ID and repeat the Authorization process.

Installed new update but don't have any new features
Besides having to install/restore on another computer before I could actually do anything... I've now FINALLY got my iPhone 3G working again BUT I don't have any of the new features that come with the iOS4 update except for the folders feature. How do I fix this?
I'm really looking forward to the homescreen background wallpaper feature...A lot of the updates (wallpaper, multitasking) sadly weren't released for the 3G due to Apple not being satisfied with the performance on the 3G's slower hardware.

Installed new itunes and no longer have any music files
when I installed the new itunes version, everything went well - no error messages and itunes definetly looks different....
but now I have no music files in my itunes when I open itunes....is there a step I missed?Your iPod can only be synced with one computer at a time. If you try to sync it with a new computer/iTunes library, it will replace the contents of the iPod with whatever is in the new library. You should probably disable the autosync functionality first by going to Edit -> Preferences, clicking the Devices tab, and enabling the prevent iPods,iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing option.
Before doing anything else, authorize the new computer with your iTunes Account. In iTunes, choose Store -> Authorize This Computer and enter in the correct credentials. Either copy a backup file from your old computer to your new one or create a new backup of your iPod in iTunes before letting it sync.
Then right->click on your iPod Touch from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes and choose Backup. You might also want to take a look at this article to see what it all included in the backup.

Now onto synced content such as music, videos, photos, etc. For iTunes purchases you can copy them back into iTunes by choosing File -> Transfer Purchases. For all other nonpurchased iTunes content, see this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
Once the backup has been made and all other synced content such as music, videos, and photos are back in your iTunes library, restore your iPod from that backup you made earlier. Here is more on backing up and restoring your iPod.

I changed jobs and bought a new phone. I would like to get my iBooks info on my new phone but it is under my old account. When I try to log in under the old account i get a message that I will not be able to log back onto my new account for a period of time. HOw do i get the information from my old account over to my new account?
You can't currently transfer purchases/downloads from one account to another account.

Have you got the ibooks already on your computer and/or on a backup so that you can sync them to your new iPhone ? If not then have you bought anything on your new account yet - could you go back to just using the old account ? -
I just got a new white iphone 4. When I try to take a video using the camera app, there is only a muffled sound. I never had this problem with my old iphone. I tried to restore it and that didn't help. I checked over all of the settings. Does anyone know how to fix this?? Thanks for any help you can offer!
There is a good possibility that your trimming of the SIM card could have damaged it some way. If the SIM was working in the old phone, then you cut it and the first new phone didn't work and now this phone doesn't work, it leads me to believe it has to do with the SIM card or the account. You are sure there is no problem with the account. Did you check with the provider when you got the iPhone 4 to make sure there was no problem with the account when you could not send or receive SMS? Why can't you just get a micro-sim? The iPhone should have come with one when you purchased it.The iPhone 4 is designed for a micro-sim. I don't believe this is a hardware problem unless the phone has been hacked or modified in some manner.

I just received a new macbook pro. I am looking for a usb3 external storage 500 GB drive. Some manufacturers of drives aren't for sure their drive will work with the new system. Does anybody have any suggestions for drives that will workw
There seems to be a problem, just now, with the USB 3 ports on the new MBP's supporting eternal USB 3 drives. Some people have no luck at all - can't even recognize the drive - and some are reporting USB 2 speeds (those who drives are recognized). I'd call a dealer such as LaCie or OWC to see if they have USB 3 drives that actually work with MBP's with USB 3 ports. You may have to wait for a software/firmware update.

I have a new computer that will not have any web browser installed when I acquire it. So, I cannot download Firefox, say, using Internet Explorer. Can I get a copy of Firefox on a CD and use that instead.
Easiest is to download the full Firefox installer and copy that file to an USB stick.

I need some help on being able to sync my computer with my Iphone. It says I can do up to 5 computers and that I already have my limit. Well I have a new computer and don't have any of those 5 computers any more. What can I do?
If you don't have any of those computers you will have to email iTunes store support to reset your account. If you have just one of them, open iTunes, go to the Store menu, and choose to deauthorize all computers on the account.

I don't know what I downloaded that caused the problem, but now when I try to make a new folder on the desktop of my new Windows 7 computer, I have only the following choices: Shortcut, Bitmap Image, Contact, Microsoft Word Document, Journal Document, Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation, Text Document, Microsoft Excel Worksheet, and Briefcase. No new folder choice. Anyone have any ideas how I can correct the problem?

New to JavaFX--Calling Java objects from JavaFX
Hello,
I am a Java developer who is new to JavaFX. I am having no luck in finding a tutorial that exhibits more than just fun effects. I need to be able to call existing classes from a JavaFX GUI. Can anyone offer any assistance on this? It's very frustrating because this should be a simple task. If we are faced with having to rewrite existing code, we will probably be forced to abandon JavaFX. I hope this is not the case.

If you have classes that you keep as library classes that you intend for use irrespective of the platform, then I suspect that you have already written them with no view content. For those, including them in your JavaFX is not really different to using them in Java. I am just learning JavaFX too and the most important lesson for us to learn is that 'JavaFX is Java with FX on the end of it'. I know the strickly come dancing set will say 'oh but what about types'. Well I have found no trouble at all with types, basic or my own, we are in object world so long as the compiler has the class object and we have all stuck to the rules then it has all it needs to act on your objects.
So your non-View classes can be used as you always use them -

It is then just a matter of arranging a FX trigger of some kind (trigger/event/timer/bind) to call the function in your library.
Which triggers and when are the part I am still finding difficult. The basic GUI events are fine (onMouseClick etc), it is 'bind' that is troublesome.
Binding something in your code to a 'property' of the display element is easy enough, but binding where you have no external variable that relates to 'Property' value is less clear. For example you may have to change a form contents due to a trigger sent from a remote database.
You have some in the forum talking of 'resize your window a few pixels to force a redraw so that your code can be retriggered'. Others are using timers at high tick frequency to for an update. such as changing a property that you can't see.
That is utter nonsense, if you look up the proper description of bind then it becomes obvious. Bind can be a two way thing, you can change a value in your element from outside, but you can also change a value outside of your element from within your element.
Equally that trigger can be your own code. There is no need of trickery to update Scenes, the writters of JavaFX already have it sussed.
The Sun web site has some great tutirials, but as a personal favourite that cleared up som of the junk about JavaFX that was building up in my mind I reccommend you spend a bit of time here [JavaFX Refference|http://openjfx.java.sun.com/current-build/doc/reference/JavaFXReference.html]
Not the best layout you will ever see, but it is the best source I have found, then if you use that along side [Master Index|http://java.sun.com/javafx/1.2/docs/api/javafx.stage/javafx.stage.Stage.html] hopefully you will find, as I did, that you do not have to think differently to make use of the FX on the end of Java. -
How do I get messages to go back to an AIM account? It's only seeing the iPad's Facetime email address and not seeing the old AIM account name that is on my desktop. I am using my iMac using iChat to talk to a newer iMac that doesn't have iChat. We had this working using Messages and Facetime (on the new machine) talking to my existing iChat account. One day last week, when Facetime rang, my kids answered on the iPad. Dang! Now it's all fouled up! The new iMac won't see my AIM account name and shows that I'm offline, because the iPad is off. We were able to call using "most recent call" in Facetime, but now I can't go and control that new iMac remotely to help with some email concerns the user is having. I'm trying to not personalize this too much, but it's grandkids talking to Grandma and Mom and Dad trying to solve new machine hiccups. Normally, I could just go in via iChat and control the other machine and troubleshoot, but I can't do it with Facetime only. My buddy list doesn't see the other computer even though we are connected on Facetime right now. My name is not highlighted for the other computer. What could have gone so wrong?

After moving to iCloud I can only get my email through the cloud, no new emails are making it to my home computer and .mac account. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this issue?
