you install apps to an iphone by
connecting the iphone to your computer and starting up itunes
clicking on the iphone under devices
clicking on apps tab
checking on the app in the list of apps
thats the only way to install apps to your iphone anything else you attempt will fail

I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.
I am happy to suspend AV and FW software, but would like to know if it is a good fix or not first?

Hi again,
Make sure that you have a Wi-fi / 3G connection and these are turned on.
Try resetting your Wi-Fi router by turning it off and then on again.
Check and verify that Restrictions on your iPad is turned off (Settings > General > Restrictions).
Tap Settings > Store on your device and sign out, then sign in again.
Tap Settings > Store > Apple ID > view Apple ID and turn off Genius for Apps.
Turn off and on (restart) your iPad.

Seems to be a day long problem Apple is having concerning updates, mainly for ipod and pads. So the solution is just wait it out.

"While not a very direct solution, I was able to finally accept the terms in a way that seem to register with apple by making a purchase through iTunes on my computer. This forced me through updating my payment information and updating my iTunes software to the latest edition (which I had not yet taken the time to do). After doing both of these, iTunes took me through the terms & conditions on two separate pages, but ultimately allowed me to purchase my song. I just did this and have since been able to update apps etc on my iPhone and iPad. -
I downloaded 2 apps to my iphone, but neither one will work, they are app to find sateillites for directv when we are traveling in our rv. They areSAToolzdtv and dishformyrv /find satellite.
If you open the Kindle app on your iPad, then in the bottom right-corner should be an 'i'' button - touch that and you should then get a pop-up with the top option being Settings, which should then allow you to link it to your Amazon account and let you download any kindle books that you've already bought.

how do i stop this and get my music onto my iphone?If you look at the details of the error message displayed on your computer, iTunes will show you which songs and account(s) have not been authorized on your computer.
Songs from other people's iTunes accounts are usually the culprit. These songs can be added to your iTunes library by file sharing software, or by perhaps by your friends trying to share music with you.
If you don't recognize the iTunes account that purchased the unauthorized songs, you should probably get rid of them or investigate other (probalby not very legal) methods for working around the problem. -
