Hi, I'm trying to install a free trial Adobe Photoshop Elements

Hi I'm having trouble installing free trial of Adobe Photoshop Elements, and when it's time to install the adobe download assist, I get a message saying an error has occurred and it can't install cause the installer is misconfigured. Can you tell how to correct this problem.

Please try the following steps assuming its a MAC:
1) Open Activity monitor and Force quit Adobe CEF Helper, Creative cloud, Adobe IPC Broker & Crash Deamon if available.
2) Try to open, if doesn't work then go to Applications>> Adobe Creative cloud>> Right click>> Get Info>> Click on the Add sign>> Select the user you are logged in>> Give Read and write access.
3) If that doesn't work then enable the root user and launch to update there, check this link on how to enable/sign in to root user Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X

When you report a problem you should always try to include as much relevant information as possible. Saying "it doesn't work, help me!" is not very helpful to us, because there could be a million reasons for it not working... What exactly happens when you try to convert a PDF to Word? Are there any error messages? How exactly are you trying to do it? Also, what operating system do you use? What version of Word? What exactly version of Acrobat? etc.

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). After I downloaded the file, a pop-up says "This type of file can harm your computer. Do you want to keep PhotoShopElements_13_WWEFDJ.dmg anyway?" then, there are the options of Discard or Keep.

Free trial download Photoshop Elements 10, won't open

I downloaded and installed the trial version of Photoshop Elements 10, it all installed fine, but when I click on the icon to launch the program I get this error:
The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “Adobe Photoshop Elements 10” can’t be found.
I have no idea what this means or how to fix it.
Anyone know anything about this??

It would seem to indicate that the shortcut/alias you are clicking on is not able to locate the application. Which operating system are you using? Did you have Photoshop Elements 10 installed previously?

Hi. I am thinking about Purchasing Photoshop for my little business but would like to download the free trial as my friend did this recently. I started to download it An hour later my computer crashed so I tried to do it again and I thought it has worked as it went to the whole Adobe product list of things I could do. When I clicked on Photshop it wouldn't let me go into it!

Cannot install free trial of Photoshop elements???

I have now tried to install this several times and it is not working. It downloads fine, I open the file and it tries to unzip but I get this error message: Cannot open file "Photoshop Elements_12_LS25.7z." It does not appear to be a valid archive. If you downloaded this file, try downloading the file again.
I've downloaded the file 4 times now. I'm using Windows 7, and Winzip to extract the file.Even when I open WinZip to try and locate the file the folder is empty.
I have tried deleting the previous downloads before downloading again. Nothing is working.

I believe there is supposed to be an executable file that also downloads that you run instead of interacting with the zipped file. The executable deals with the zipped file.

okay I bought the Premiere Elements 10 and have it installed and tried to use the 30 day trial of the photoshop elements part and it asks for a serial number the only one I can find and have is the one for premiere.... anyone know????

Like you said, Photoshop Elements is a trial that you received when you purchased Premiere Elements. After the trial expires, if you want to continue to use it, you'll need to buy a license of Photoshop Elements.

Cant install upgrade disc to Adobe Photoshop Elements 10

How do I load all three discs. First disc loads, others do not. Should they??

If you have successfully installed Photoshop Elements using disc 1, and are able to open the application, that's all you need to do. I am guessing that you are on a Windows OS.
Disc 3 is for installing on Mac OS. To install Premiere Elements (trial version) on Win 7 64 bit use Disc 2.

Photoshop CC might installed on your computer.
Please check and try to launch the product from your computer, it should work.
However you may need to restart your computer update your Photoshop CC.
You may also try to repair Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64) from your "programs and features" window if restating the computer is not working.
