Hi i need help from the experts in node set up
i just both the logic pro upgrade from logic express and I have a g5 and g4 can somboody help my to use the node sistem to put them together. i am in mexico and is not easy to find that kind of help, i dont have a clear idea because the manual instructions are not clear enough how to install the node sistem, they send you to on line help... welll thank you verry much

This is not strictly true... The G4 will work as a Node, though the benefit of it will be minimised.
It wirks pretty simply and you won't do any harm (especially your wallet), giving it a try.
Make sure you install the equivalent version (extremely important) of the Logic Node application on your G4 and run it.
Launch Logic on your G5, open preferences/ Audio / Nodes. Provided you have your computers networked correctly (I am assuming you have done this), the Node computer will be listed there. You can then activate it, if listed.
Assigning a track to a Node is done in the arrange window (view / Node buttons, needs to be enabled) .. Click the Node button and voila!!
It is important to note that only Logic plugins (with the exception of EXS24 and, I think, Ultrabeat) can be processed by a Node.

Need "accounts" help from the experts here
Sometime ago I screw up my original account. In the process, I created a new account and somehow deleted the original one. I have some ideas on how I accomplished such thing, but it's a long story that has resulted on the following: My account name is "R. deFernandez" (made up name, of course), but the Home's icon in the Finder (the "house" icon) is not my present account, but the original one.
Also, if I open "Accounts" in the System Preferences, only one account (Admin) is listed, and this is my present account, not the original. If I open the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, and then the Accounts folder, only the original account, not my present account is shown.
Now, this information I am about to tell you may be of benefit to some: trying to update Office 2004, and also MS Messenger results on the following warning: "Warning. The following disk images failed to mount. Image: office2004-1123Update. Reason: invalid checksum."
I have unsuccessfully tried to update both applications with the help of both Apple technicians and Mactopia, and just today I realized that both updaters can't update the applications mentioned, simply because their respective installers follow the path through the original account. Sooo, whatever you do, don't mess around with the original account's name (the first admin. account created on your hard drive).
Now, here is where I am asking you for help: is there a way where I can reinstall Mac OS 10.4 without erasing the hard drive, AND so when I start the iMac I can use the Set-Up Assistant to create a new (virgin) account?Open the NetInfo Manager in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, locate your account in the list of users, and change the last part of its home property to match the desired setting; if you aren't sure which account is yours, look for one with a numeric UID of 501 or above. Don't delete or alter any other accounts, groups, or properties. Next, open the Users folder in the Finder and change the name of the item in the home folder to match what you entered in the NetInfo Manager. When you've done this, log out and back in; if this procedure was successful, your home icon will be the present name of your account. If not, you will have a brand new home folder and can migrate your data from the old one.
An account's name and home properties can be changed independently from each other, and a home folder does not need to be in /Users/.

Whenever i go to a website that uses java (like runescape), the window that has the java is all white screen and on the top left side there is a little sheet of paper with a folded corner with a red X on it.

Need help from RAM expert before purchasing.
I have tried google searching for awhile and am at the point of just asking on the forums to get the best possible information. I am trying to figure out whether I would really see any performance improvements by changing from the RAM I currently have to a different type. I have read some conflicting information with my setup that leads me to believe I may not see any improvements with speed increase as my AMD CPU may still run at 1333 still. Also my current RAM, although older and slower speed has a lower CAS latency time which makes me think I may not see any difference between my current RAM and new RAM I am considering. I was wondering if anyone on this forum would know of a solution to our current issue. Basically we had our web designer set up an online viewing system for our clients, attached to our website, using Adobe Air. At the moment, each client has their own username/password which directs them into their private online gallery space, where they can view the different jobs which we have done for them. Our problem is that some of these clients have clients of their own who need to see the photos as well, but cannot be allowed access to the username/password, as this would allow them to not only see the job relevant to them but also every other job done for our client. So here's my question.......
Is it possible, when uploading a new job to a clients gallery, to have an option where you can create a new 'guest' password that allows access to only that specific uploaded folder, and not to everything else in that viewing gallery?
If so, is it a case of writing new code to enable this feature and is it difficult/time-consuming/expensive????

Need help from an expert regarding fingerprint scanning, ONLY AT HOME?!?!
Ok people... You might think I'm crazy, but let me tell you what I'm going through.
I recently purchased an iPhone 5S and I love it. But, I am having the strangest problem. Whenever the phone is plugged in at home, the fingerprint scanner doesn't work (for adding new fingerprints or unlocking from lock screen)!!! As soon as I disconnect lightning cable, it works as it should...
So I assumed something was wrong with the phone. I brought it to the Apple Store, and plugged it into one of their display lightning stands, worked just fine. Tried one of their lightning cables with USB AC adapter, worked just fine.
Did I have a bad cable at home? A bad wall adapter? Here is where it gets weird... I have three lightning cables and three wall adapters and all of them exhibit this symptom. I also have the problem with when trying to plug into many other devices in my house via USB (Yamaha receiver, APC battery backup, Panamax line conditioner, etc).
If I plug the phone into my Targus cigarette lighter in my car, it works as it should. If I plug into my Morphie battery pack, it works as it should. But anytime I plug into something that ultimately leads to my AC electrical at home, it doesn't work!!!! What is odd, is that I have zero problems with any other devices at my house. And it is only the fingerprint scanner that has issues. It charges fine and does everything the way it should, but not fingerprint. I have checked my electrical system, and it seems fine.
Another odd tidbit, If I plug the phone into my MBA while on DC power, it works fine, but as soon as I plug in the MBA AC adapter, the phone exhibits the same problem. I think my electrical system needs an exorcism or something. (Again, EVERYTHING else in the house works fine on these outlets).
I have iOS 7.0.1, and have tried both soft resets and hard resets. This is 100% reproduceable and very strange. If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know. I will keep you posted of any updates...

EdEmanx32, sorry to hear you are having the same issue. Sadly, I'm happy to know I'm not the only one. I was starting to think I was in some sort of tech Twilight Zone. Now that the fingerprint scanner has been publicly hacked, I have it off for the time being (it's actually less secure with it on.) However, I would still like to know what is causing this issue.
Again, if I get any new updates, I will keep you people posted!

Ok, here is the deal. The hockey season starts in 3 days. I don't get to watch my home teams games because I don't live nearby and don't have all the fancy sports channels....so i listen to them on the radio.
In the past I just did this by going to the NHL site, scores, and click the listen to the game but this didn't work during the pre-season games which i know were on the radio. Can somebody please help me get set up so I can listen to my hockey games? Do I need a special media player?

I need help proving the date tag on a photo stored in my iPhoto is from the date it was sent to my iphone/date it was imported into iphoto - and that it is NOT the date the photo was actually taken. I recieved a photo via text on my iphone and then I synced my iphone to my macbook and now it is in iphoto. I already know that the date on the photo per the tag that shows up on it in iphoto is NOT the date the photo was actually taken. I need article or literature or something confirming the tag is from when it was sent to the iphone and/or when it was imported. I greatly appreciate some assistance!
All I am trying to do is find something on a forum board or article etc stating that the the date showing in iphoto could be the date it was imported or synced or sent to me and not the actual date taken.
The date on the photo could be anything because you can edit the date with iPhoto or any of 100 apps, free and paid for. So, the date on the photo will prove nothing, I'm afraid.

Read the HT5312 page that you posted from, it has instructions for how to reset them i.e. if you have a rescue email address set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down that page should give you a reset link.
If you don't have a rescue email address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use -

Anytime I select Vibrance to adjust the color of an image. The whole image turns Pink in the highlights when the slider is moved from "0" to - or + in value. Can the Vibrance tool be reset to prevent this from happening? When this happens I cn not make adjustments...just turns Pink.

Yes, that does reset to “0” and the Pink does disappear.
But as soon as I move the slider +1 or -1 or higher the image turns Pink in all of the highlights again, rather than adjusting the overall color.

Need help accessing the router web page. I have been told my router is acting like a switch and the IP address is not in the proper range. I have tried reseting the router (hold for 30 sec and unplug for 5 mins). Didn't work.
thanksWhat router are you using? Almost all Linksys routers use 192.168.1.1 as the default local IP address, but there is at least one that uses 192.168.16.1 , namely the WTR54GS (not the WRT54GS).
You need to try again to reset the router to factory defaults.
To reset your router to factory defaults, use the following procedure:
1) Power down all computers, the router, and the modem, and unplug them from the wall.
2) Disconnect all wires from the router.
3) Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
4) Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds, then release it, then let the router reset and reboot (2-3 minutes).
5) Power down the router.
6) Connect one computer by wire to port 1 on the router (NOT to the internet port).
7) Power up the router and allow it to fully boot (1-2 minutes).
8) Power up the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it is off).
9) Try to ping the router. To do this, click the "Start" button > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. A black DOS box will appear. Enter the following: "ping 192.168.1.1" (no quotes), and hit the Enter key. You will see 3 or 4 lines that start either with "Reply from ... " or "Request timed out." If you see "Reply from ...", your computer has found your router.
10) Open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1. This will take you to your router's login page. Leave the user name blank (note: a few Linksys routers have a default user name of "admin" (with no quotes)), and in the password field, enter "admin" (with no quotes). This will take you to your router setup page. Note the version number of your firmware (usually listed near upper right corner of screen). Exit your browser.
If you get this far without problems, try the setup disk (or setup the router manually, if you prefer), and see if you can get your router setup and working.
If you cannot get "Reply from ..." in step 9 above, your router is dead.
If you get a reply in step 9, but cannot complete step 10, then either your router is dead or the firmware is corrupt. In this case, use the Linksys tftp.exe program to try to reload your router with the latest firmware. After reloading the firmware, repeat the above procedure starting with step 1.
If you need additional help, please state your ISP, the make and model of your modem, your router's firmware version, and the results of steps 9 and 10. Also, if you get any error messages, copy them exactly and report back.

In detail report changes are visible, but the trigger replacement value is not set in session value.
How can I implement this?You'll have to create a process which runs after your database update process that does a query and loads the result into your page item.

Why can I not view videos using VLC or MPlayer X?
So I have used VLC for years and never had a problem but I was watching an episode of a TV show i downloaded on VLC and suddenly the video stopped and I got a pop up saying the video was unable to be cleaned. I tried the whole uninstal reinstall....s
