Changed Password but lost all my photos and itunes ! Help !

Hi.
I have been storing my music and photos on my powerbook G4 for a year when I finally got around to changing my password (by inserting the Start-up disk and going to Systems and Resetting Password). In a burst of enthusiasm, I also then changed the name of the user. I then logged back in (with my new password and username) but found to my dismay that itunes and iphoto are now empty !!! Disaster !
The things I previously loaded on my hard-drive (e.g. applications) are still there, so I am wondering whether my music and photos are also still lurking around? Does anyone know what I have done wrong and how I can get back my music and photos?

My older computer got smashed and even though I had all my information changed to this computer for some reaseons itunes did not. Therefore they are not transferring all my purchased items. How do I fix this so they are transferred and also my niece uses my credit card to purchase songs which I now want removed from her account as she no longer lives here. Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re running into an Apple ID password issue on your iPod touch, and you’ve created another account which you weren’t able to verify because you didn’t receive the verification email.
Try resetting the Apple ID password for the account that’s already on your iPod touch as shown here:

It sounds like you have intermittent Wi-Fi connection if you were able to update your iOS to 7.0.2?
Although you have tried some troubleshooting steps, I would suggest following the guide below in order to attempt to resolve this issue:

You cannot and need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

Try logging out of your account on the phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it

If I enter a value for "Number of days before user needs to change password" will that effect both user and supervisor accounts or just user accounts? I have a supervisor account that we use for a lot of processes and do not want it to expire. However, our corporate security policy is to have user passwords expire at least every 90 days. mburkett, Version 7.X has the external authentication option. The integration with active directory is very easy and can be configured in a few minutes. However, if your Essbase user names are different than MSAD user names, you would have to replace all Essbase users with their domain ID in order to use external authentication. If the user names are the same, it is only a matter of changing the flag to use the external AD password, rather then the Essbase password. If you are not using Hyperion HUB, you should install it prior to implementing External Authentication. I don't know the details of your custom job scheduler, but if it is based on ESSCMD, I dont see why it would not continue to work with an upgraded version. Good Luck, Chris

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare(or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

Removing the need to change password

This is related to [Pass language parameter to MSA;
Because we are looking to pass username and a set password with the mobileclient.exe we would like to remove the need to change password every x days
Is there a database entry that we can change or settings in MSY that will prevent it from triggering the password change?
This is MSA 5.0 SP11

Hello James,
You can change the Password parameter using MSY.
1> Login to MSY -> Cross-Component Settings -> Password Paramter.
2> Select the Password Parameter "pass_exp_time" -> Parameter Value to 0.
3> Save
Hope this will resolve your query. This disable the need to change the password.

Settings > iTunes and App Store > tap on your Apple ID and then tap on Sign Out
Then sign in with your correct Apple ID and password.
