as far I understand you are talking about campaign determination. Once a sales order is generated having a campaign determined the campaign creates a reference to the sales order. The best way to track the assigned sales orders is using the related transactions function:
The same feature is available for trade promotions as well.
The data is available in table CRMD_BRELVONAE - you can also write a report selecting on OBJGUID_A_SEL with the campaign or TP guid and OBJTYPE_A_SEL with BUS2010020 for campaigns and BUS2010030 for trade promotions.

Don't know if this is what you're searching for, and I don't know if there is such a function in LV 8.6, but I'm using LV 2010 and under DAQmx Pallete, you go to "Advanced Task Options", there is a function "Configure Output Buffer", in which you can configure the buffer size you want.

Has anyone successfully used OSX Lion with Logic 8, a Digi002 and Digidesign's Coreaudio? Need to know for iCloud update.

I need to upgrade to Lion for iCloud and to shift my mobile me iDisk to iCloud in order to save the content I have and need to share.
Anyone using Logic 8 with this? I want to be sure, as I can't afford to upgrade everthing just yet.

I can give a partial answer.
If you're installing Lion over the top of Snow Leopard Logic should be fine, it you're going to run a clean install of Lion, Logic 8 will not install but will run if you can copy it over from a working SL install.

The other issue are Digi's Core Audio MIDI drivers, they don't seem to be Lion compatible yet so while you may have the audio part of the interface working with Lion, you have to remove the MIDI drivers or Logic chokes while booting up. (unless there are new drivers I don't know about) Perhaps others have more info on the Digi situation.

Clip length and Workflow with iPhoto (I need a pdf for a final...)

I'm feeling like a total lunkhead after taking a number of passes at this in the past year.
Short question:
How do I control clip length in iMovie? Does it work one way when you bring images in and another way when you bring in a slideshow?
Long question:
I need to get from images organized in iphoto to a pdf or ppt presentation and right now this means I am organizing the photos in iPhoto (a breeze), exporting as wmv and then importing this into iMovie. In iMovie I am just adding a title on the first "slide".
Now I am trying to make sure I have no dissolve effects between slides, make sure I can control the length of each slide and to get this exported into a "manually" advanced pdf.
At some point I would like to get some vector based linework into my presentations as well and for some reason I am bypassing Keynote in the above setup.
Can anyone help me get to a manual pdf so I can get out of the ditch here?

Transfer purchases to your computer and Back up your device by syncing it with your Mac or PC first.
After your new phone got set up, you can use the latest backup to restore from. You might have to fill in some passwords again for security reasons.

Major differences between CS 4 and 5.5? Need to know for manual selection

I am trying to get my library to bring in a book or two on Creative Suites, but they tell me they cannot locate any new books. They have a few titles on CS 4. Now I am trying to learn the very basics, so I am wondering if 4 and 5.5 are similar enough that those older books would help in the fundamentals. Any insight would be appreciated.

Not sure what you are asking here... Per se there is no all out book that can cover everything in all of the programs and you really should not have any problems of finding the current CS 5.5 editions of most books like the Meyer's "Creating Motion Graphics" for After Effects. Aside from that of course there is no harm in buying books on CS4 at reasonable prices - most programs do not change that radically. It's only that specific features have not been available in older versions and thus naturalyl do not appear in there...

I am in a project where Essbase is the datasource. I know nothing about Essbase but I an experienced OBIEE prof. Can anyone tell me the things I need to know about integrating Essbase with OBIEE, using Essbase cubes in obiee. I looking for some basic fundamentals of Essbase so I could successfully use Essbase cubes with OBIEE.

It really depends on what you plan to do and which products in the stack you're going to use for what. If you intend to use Essbase as an aggregation layer to speed up you analysis, then you should look into learning more about fine-tuning your Essbase applications in terms of data loads, aggregation, optimizing calculations,...in terms of languages MDX and MaxL.
If you're looking to integrate applications like Workspace as well then you'll have to look at those as well.
Both areas are vast in terms of applications and functionalties so I'd suggest learning the basics and then deepening your know-how according to needs.

Do We Need To Know All Tables and Fields inR/3

We are in the initial phase of BW development(We don't have Functional consltant with us).Our source System is R/3. According to Reporting requirement We have identified certain DataSources in Business Content Which have basic Characteristics and Key Figures which we require in report.
but still lot of fields are there in R/3 which we are not finding in Datasources ?. My question is Do we need to know for each Characteristic and key figure the base table in R/3 and corresponding field name in R/3.
We found certain fields are common in 4 - 5 Tables in R/3,So how do we know that certain field is coming from certain table only.
Here i want to ask, the Business content datasources in which we have certain chars and key figures which we require. do we need to know from which table these are comming or connected to in R/3??.
So the bottom line is ,do we need to see and analyse for each BEx report. what the corresponding field and table in R/3 is.
I would award points to rational answers.

Hello Srini,
If all your requiremnts are fulfilled by the Business content objects, then you may impelement BW without going into much details in R/3. But that is a wishful thinking and doesn't happen in real scenario. Also, even if you implemented business content, while verifying the result you have to go the source system and compare the results.
In most of the projects, you need to enhance the business content delivered objects. While enhaching the datasources in R/3, you must know from which table to take the information. Many a times, the end users have R/3 experience and they tell you what information you are looking for, in that case life will be a bit easier. But if the user wants to see some information which is being captured as part of any particular transaction, you need to dig deep in R/3 to find out the table and how that can be extracted.
So, I would say at least little knowledge of R/3 is necessary. You may not need a full time functional consultant, but someone who has R/3 experience will be of great help.

Need to know base table and base column name for Oracle view columns

I am trying to load metadata for some views and that requires me to know what the final table and column name would be corresponding to the view column.
For example, if I have a view x_v that is select a,b from x_v2; and x_v2 is a view that is select a,b,c from x;
I need to get the following information.
View View Col Base Table Base Col
X_V A X A
X_V B X B
and so on.
Is it possible to get this programmatically using any SYS schema tables or Dependency tables?
I tried an indirect approach wherein I lock tables using LOCK TABLE or FOR UPDATE OF. But I'm not too sure if I can go down to the level of individual view columns.
Can you help me with this?

It basically uses locks on views to verify locks on the base tables.
