Maybe:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)

I installed Pro tools 8 M- Powered, the ilook and interface are plugged in, but for some reason
when I go to create a new session, it doesn't happen. Pro Tools is still open, but I cannot
access any sessions.Nope---didn't work. I've owned Macs for about 12 years so although I am brain dead on some things, I do have a working knowledge on most things. I only say that to say this--I did try holding down the mouse and choosing empty trash. It asks if I want to permanently delete what's in there. I say yes--and then I get the same identical message again-----'The operation can't be completed because the item "Firefox 8.0.1.dmg" is in use I can then click stop, or continue.' So apparently that complains the same way it does if I click it up on the menu :)))
As for item owned by---that's not an issue and isn't coming up. User is not a problem either as I am the only user on this system. There is only ONE file in my trash at the moment at that is this dmg file. Nothing Mac. Nothing owned by anyone other than Firefox. The problem seems to be that the dmg file and the original 4.0 FF file are working in tandem with each other--even though I have already drug the new 8.0 globe into the Apps folder and it updated the FF app with the new stuff. If I could force the dmg file to go away, I would do so, but at every turn the system is telling me it can't be done because it seems to think that dmg file is in use---even though everything is shut down and/or ejected. Hey--I'm getting ready to head out and won't be back till evening. I'll check back in this evening. Thank you again for your help. -
I really don't know what to do. I went into KnowHow to sort it - they backed it up for me in there. Now when I am trying to re-download everything back onto it - it is saying there is a billing problem! What do I do!!!!!!! Also I still cannot delete any apps. I NEED HELP!!!!
when you back up a dvice it backs up the settings as well, so by restoring your ipad from the backup you used your just putting the passcode back on the dvice.

My battery is fully charged, but when i disconnect from mains MBP won't start
As soon as i remove mains cable from MBP the laptop just crashes ... no juice ... even though it says battery is fully charged. As soon as i replace cable, it reboots ... i need this laptop to work on battery !!
Try resetting the SMC. If that doesn't work, I would get the machine to Apple for service ASAP.

You may want to do a Restore on the iPod in iTunes. The Restore button is on the iPod's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the iPod, re-install its software, and set it to default settings. If the problem is caused by data corruption in the iPod's storage, a Restore should fix it.

HT4060 i plug my ipad to charge but i see the percentage decreasing not increasing.
I plug in my ipad to charge as it was showing 30% battery. After some minutes I checked and saw that the percentage had decreased. Looks like the battery is draining??
What are you using to try to charge it? PC USB? Apple charger?
Does the battery icon show charging? I.e., lightning bolt in battery icon?

If your computer is running Windows, go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. Check to see if "Apple Mobile Device" Service is Started. If not right click on this service and select Start. Also make sure Startup type is set to Automatic. If not, right click on this service, select Properties and set it to Automatic.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Yes. The battery appears to be shot and in need of a replacement. This can either be done by Apple or a third party repair company.
