When you erased the disk did you select Mac OS Extended Journaled as the format option?

Quit the app and restart.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

You won't be able to download music, films or TV programmes from iTunes until either they are available in Pakistan (which will need a sufficient number of content providers to grant Apple a license to sell their content there), or you move to a country where they are sold. Are there other music purchase downloads sites in Pakistan ? You can also copy your own music CDs via your computer's iTunes (so you could buy CDs and copy them) and sync them to your phone.

My phone is in recovery mode before its was off and however ifs get on showing connect to itunes but now in recovery mode its showing itunes is restoring software on phone and and above its showing waiting for phone but not moving further what shold i do

I just bought an ipod touch 1st gen, the battery was totally dead, when it was charged enough to turn on I did a total restore. Now there is a picture of the usb cord with the itunes symbol above it. I assume the means it wants me to connect it to itunes but when I do it dosnt show up on the side bar in my itunes. I waited ten min. nothing. Right now I am chaging it using my ipads ac adapter. It could be that someone has accessed your AppleID/iCloud account with out authorization. Or it could be that you forgot to remove find my iPhone form a phone that your previously owned.
Change your Apple ID password.

Reboot the modem. Just pull the power for a few seconds. No settings are lost. The laptop getting through to the internet is not relevent.

Can you check system update? I think I did a system Update 1st, a day before installing OSX Lion and there is a Safari update. If not try logging in iCloud.

Try to search with a Smart Album for photos and videos taken with an iPhone:
File > New > Smart Album:
Add an EXIF rule fro the "Add Rule" drop down menu: EXIF
and set it to "Camera Model includes iPhone".
Set the scope of the search to "Library"
If there are any iPhone images or videos in your library at all, this search should find them. Then ctrl-click any of the items and select "Show in Project" from the contextual menu.
Generally, Aperture should be showing your last import in the "Last Import" smart album in the "recent" section". And the "projects" view can be sorted by date, so you should see your recent imports.
You may want to check all search fields, if searches are active.

Hi I have an ipod shuffle which worked well on my old pc but since i have tried to link it with my new laptop I cant get it to sinc. I have athorised the device to my laptop so i thought it maybe worth resetting it but all the info I have read tells me that to reset my ipod i need to open i tunes and on the left hand side in the 'source panel' i will find my ipod listed but when i open itunes i do not have a source panel so i cant reset it. i have spent days trying to get this problem sorted and am about to throw the thing away. I have tried to manually sinc the thing, i have installed and reinstalled the latest version of itunes, i have restarted my laptop but i dont know what to do next. any help would be very much appreciated. However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Possible problem: You designed the invoice using Numbers '09 but you are now editing it in Numbers 3. The company name and address are in a page header or footer, something Numbers 3 does not have so it deletes it from the document.
Possible solution: Return to using Numbers '09. It should still be in the Applications forlder on your computer.
Another Possible Solution: Use a text box for your company name and address.
If you are trying to use Numbers 3, you might want to see if your invoice will print correctly (with or without the company name and address)

Best route would be to shutdown the computer and restart from cold.
Make a secure backup of your Songs.
Uninstall iTunes.

Are you sure you have iTunes set up to synch to your new iPod? The reason I ask is that by default, iTunes will not automatically synch to a new device. You have to go to the Apps tab and click Synch Apps, and do the same for Music, PodCasts, and so on....
