Hi, i have a G5 mac and would like to down load a free trial of photo shop. It requires me to down load Adobe first, however my computer wont allow this. Can any one suggest a remedy??

Requires Adobe what first? Photoshop is made by Adobe.
However, it is unlikely that your G5 Mac supports the latest version of Photoshop which is now only made for Intel Macs.
You might consider buying an older version on eBay or Amazon.

Apple has tightened its requirements for this OS upgrade, and some older Macs— even ones that qualified for Lion — won't make the cut for Mountain Lion.
The general system requirements are straightforward:

As i was installing Final Cut Studio i cancelled it while entering the details, to go to bed. I tried to reopen the installer window and it just comes up with a Terminal Text Window, can anyone help?
It may have half installed the software so dose anyone know if i can reinstall or delete what it has installed?after using FCS remover run disc repair:
shut down the Mac
Hold the Shift key on keyboard and start up the Mac
The Mac will run the repair tasks it takes 10- 30 minutes, then it will boot up normally
insert the FCS DVD in the drive and install FCS again. -

I have error code -43 when trying to upgrade iPhone 3GS running v4.3 to version 5 or above. This error occurs whilst trying to back up phone during upgrade process. 2GB of free memory on phone. Can anyone help?
Well I spoke too soon.
The update was successful, but now I cannot connect to the 3GS data network.
Cannot get email and cannot open a page in Safari.

+THe mail server is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in Mail settings."+
Email and internet work fine on WiFi.........no data using 3GS network.
Looks like I will have to revert back to old OS. -

Did you sync those photos from iPhoto or and photo program, you would need to delete them on your computer then connect your iPhone and sync.

I purchased my macbook pro 2nd hand and then purchased Lion online thru the apple store and today when I tried to update some of the software I got the message that it was corrupt. Can anyone help me?
Did the message say what was corrupt. It is not clear from your description of "...it was corrupt" what "it" is. Sounds like the download of Lion was corrupt. Download it again. Downloaded files sometimes get corrupted due to network connection glitches or interruptions.

What's your problem is 1) your ipad froze or 2) you now have no internet connection?

I have been trying to Export a 48 minute movie (stills, titles, transitions, and background music using iMovie 11 Ver 9. After a couple of hours of rendering, it stops with th efollowing error: "Unable to prepare project for publishing. The project could not be prepared for publishing because an error occured. You need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, which requires an Intel Mac with at least 1GB of RAM. If you don't know if your computer meets the requirements, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu.

Can anyone help with my problem. I have one document that just can't seem to be exported to Word. It doesn't have any special formatting. A footer with page numbers is the only special thing. Anyone have any ideas? I've tested other docs, and they seem to export fine, just this one document. There is nothing special to this document either. i've imported the original from Word, modified it as pages, then tried to export it again. Nothing. i've also copied and pasted the whole doc into a new sheet, and tried to save it again as word, nothing again. I'm running out of things to do on this
It probably have something that is corrupt. Sometimes one has to try to export to another format (if it can be done) like .rtf and the open in Pages again. Or copy and paste to a textEdit document, save it and open it in Pages. Last resort is to recreate the document.
