Hi, I've tried charging continuously for 72 hours. But to no avail. It just stopped working out of the blue. Actually I believe I let the battery die off completely. When I tried charging it again, it never worked.
I had only used it for about 1 month.
I bought this in January at Best Buy, and still have the receipt. I was on long business trip and just got back. I can't get the 90 day customer service. How can I get this returned to Black Berry, they won't allow me to contact them without providing my credit card for incidence based service.

do any LED color happen when you plug it in?
if only RED, then pug in until red goes out, wait 6 seconds and plug in again.
repeat 3 times and wait to see if 5 green flashes while plugged in
after 5 flahes, leave it plugged in for 90 minutes and it should boot up. if not hold power button down for 20 seconds and try again.
You have 1 year warranty, choose option other when calling in and not phone support. This is confusing I  know.

    If you have access to an Apple Store or other authorized Apple specialist with service department, you could take the computer in for diagnosis and repair under the AppleCare plan. Or the complementary coverage that comes with the computer if you did not buy the extended plan to add a few more years on the basic one. With the basic plan, you have 90-days support; if you bought the AppleCare extended plan, you have a total of three years support and service. Within the first year (from day of original purchase) you can buy the extended plan. Without it, a fee may be charged to test the computer. Or if there is an Apple Store with Genius bar, you could arrange to get an appointment there, and there should be no charge (in USA) to diagnose the problem.

    Not sure what is wrong with the computer, but an expert could tell.
    Also if you have an Apple Store nearby (or within reasonable distance) you could call ahead to set an appointment to talk to a Genius, and have them look into the issue(s) the computer may have. One determined to need repair under AppleCare can be handed off, there.
    Did you have a backup method in place to save your work off the computer, such as TimeMachine and external hard drive? I mention this because a computer going into the shop for possible repair may lose its content, and the hard drive or other parts may have failed, so your saved stuff in there could be lost.
    Hopefully they can get the problem solved.

  • Gmail stopped working out of the blue. Years with no issues. Hoursthrough all support forums, including Google's, to no avail. No phone,email,chat for either.

    Everything been working fine for years, then one day last week.....Gmail iMap died. Deleted account and added it agagin. Tried different setting under manual set-up to no avail. Changed password, did captcha unlock, got many 2-step verification texts, .....I've done it all. No email, phone or chat support for either side. fed up. I give 20k+ to Google over the years for advertising business and still with no escalation to help with upper tech management etc., and no support on Thunderbird side. Had better luck using Windows Outlook!!!!!!! Ugh. HELP!!!!!!!

  • My Remove DVR stopped working out of the blue - been great for months!

    I tried to use Remote DVR via web and my phone today and both didn't work so I tried the diagnostics on the STB (7216) and everything passes except Remote DVR which now says "FAILED". When I hit ok for more info, it just says Check cable which is useless.
    I haven't changed anything on my side or network. My Actiontec router can connect to the internet fine and the EPG, Widget servers work fine. 
    Any ideas if this is a temporary outage or something? I've never seen "failed" in the self diagnostics, it always used to say "Listener 2 started" so this new to me.
    Can someone please help? I've tried rebooting the STB a few times without success. Thanks in advance.

    Hey do us a favor unplug the power cord for the router and STB for 30secs make sure you plug back in the router first then the STB please send us a private msg with the serial# of the STB

    Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report in 10.7), then select Power from the left hand column of the System Profiler. Copy and paste the Battery Information back here.
    Also it would help to know which one of the 9 different models of MacBook you have. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report in 10.7).When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier.

    My charger just stopped working and I got my laptop less then two weeks ago, the green light turns on then turns orange and shows it is charging but the battery doesn't increase it decreases as if I never had the charger connected, what can I do? I have no insurance for my laptop.

    As Csound1 sugessted bring it back and exchange it before the 14 day window expires. Take advantage of it.

    ii got my iphone a year ago in september within the first few months the lock button quit so i sent it away to get fixed and they made me pay 40 then i got it back and i couldnt get service anywhere so they sent it away and fixed it making me pay 198 to have it fixed i have had it for a couple months and the button on top stopped again this is the 3rd time in a year and im sick of it will they send me a new one free of charge becuase i am an unhappy customer ?

    wow i dont know who you are getting your phone "fixed" through but its not apple.
    Apple does not charge prices like that.
    If you got it 1 year ago in september, the hardware warranty has expired by now unless you had your device covered by applecare insurance.
    and if it WERE covered by limited hardware warranty, an obvious hardware issue like the power button not working is covered under the warranty UNLESS it was due to accidental damage.
    So if you paid 198 dollars, chances are its because you dropped your phone and thats why the button was not working,.
    ..and even then, the iphone 4 out of warranty/accidental damage replacement fee is 149. not 198.

    OK. That's what I thought you meant, but the terminology was confusing to me. I get it now.
    Did you try going to the Videos App, tap on Movies or TV  shows - whichever one you want to delete, then tap the Edit button in the upper right corner. All of the videos will have an X in the upper left corner of their icons. Tap on that X to delete that movie or TV Show. Tap the Done button when you are finished.
    However, you have a problem that you need to fix. Your Settings app is crashing (taking you back to the home screen when you try to use it) and that's not a good thing. You need to be able to use the settings app. Quitting the apps and rebooting didn't help?

  • Connection timeout when trying to access network.  just stopped working all of the sudden.  any ideas before i buy a new airport?

    I've already rebooted and created a new network.  No change.  I was able to once get the network to connect and it took forever for a page to load.  I'm thinking the base station is bad.  It's 3.5 years old.  The station still accepts internet connection and will route (hard wire) to my computer, but no wifi output.  Checked my computer's airport with another network and was fine.

    1)access the router web ui
    2)go to the Mac Address Clone subtab , enable it and click "Clone" . Save the settings
    3)do a power cycle
    4)check whether the router gets an internet ip add now ..

    "Speakers", I assume you mean the receiver and the (one) speaker at the bottom.

  • My iPod 5th Generation charger just stopped working??

    Both my mother and I have iPod 5's and we've only had them maybe 6 months. I've never had any problems with the charger I have which is the white regular one that came with the iPod when I bought it. Today, when I got home from school, I tried to charge my iPod, but it simply wouldn't charge with the wall adapter. I then tried to plug it in to the computer and it still wouldn't work. I then thought it was the charger, so I tried my spare charger, yet it refused to work as well. I also tried it on my mothers iPod and it would not work either. The cables are not broken, I have just used them today. Also we thought it could have been the wall adapter and we used the standard white one by Apple, yet when we plugged it into the wall it said it was not compatible. I don't understand why they would just stop working out of nowhere, when nothing has been done to render them from working.

    If you are sure it's the cable (try in with another adapter or a USB port on your computer) you will have to replace it. If the phone is in warranty an Apple store will probably give you one. Possibly even if it isn't in warranty.
