Hello there,
I have two questions which I would like some help with:
Q1 Is there a link to documentation that lists all the SAP R/3 functional modules and provides an overview/description of each module?
Q2 I would like to list all the transactions belonging to a fuctional module/area such as SD, MM, PM, FI/CO etc. I know that tables TSTC & TSTCT will provide a list of all the transaction codes, but is there a table that will show all transaction codes belonging to a specific fuctional module?.. if not then is there another way of getting this information?...Please bear in mind that I need to be able to download this information to an excel spreadsheet.
Your help here would be much appreciated.

NEED INFORMATION ABOUT "MAX_TEST" FUNCTION MODULE

I need information about "MAX_TEST" function module . this function module is used in 4.6 version , now system have been shifted to 6.0.....here in 6.0 version this function module is not prasent.can any one tell me which new function module we can use in place of this function module, without changing the functionality........

The module is not very sophisticated. Profficiency in Java or ABAP will be a great bonus here. There are plenty of good materials regarding XI on SDN. I suggest to start with step-by-step guides and master all basic integration scenarios

       I want to know the use of the given sap standard function module SAPWL_READ_STATISTIC_FILES.
     In this all_stats change parameter is there. what exactly it is returning i want to know and what is the purpose of this function module? There is no documentation available in english language for this.

what I want is the list of Transaction Codes which are out dated / Obsolete due to release of new versions by SAP.
Any Transaction Codes are out dated in SAP HR Module, or SAP came up with new Transaction Codes with (same + extra functionality), so that we can use the new Transaction Codes.
Example: SE16, SE16N
Please let me know those Transaction Codes.

Hi Pranab,
Please follow the below steps to create an extra field and write code for that field through Infoset.
1-->Change in Infoset
u2022Go to SQ02 , enter Infoset name and click on Change Button
u2022Go to Extras (F5) button displayed on application bar.
u2022In Extras tab, click on 'Create' icon to create additional field E_NAME1, give as type C (character) and give desired length and. Enter header description as 'ShipToName'
u2022Select this field i.e E_NAME1 in one of the field group of Infoset.
u2022Go to Code section (Shift+F8) of infoset, Select Record Processing Event and write your logic code (condition) in this code section:
if vbpa-adrnr = space.
E_NAME1 = kna1-name1.
else.
E_NAME1 = adrc-name1.
endif.
2-->Generate the Infoset.
3-->Change in Query
u2022Go to SQ01(in a new session), give your query name (by selecting your user group) and click on change button.
u2022Check the field group in which you have added E_NAME1 field, then check E_NAME1 from Fields screen
u2022Click on 'Basic List' button; give line (row no.) and sequence (column no.) for extra fields.
u2022Execute/Test the Query, you will get desired result.

You don't need a server, you just need a web hosting package such as the ones from GoDaddy or many other hosts. You then send the web gallery directly from LR to your web space.

My requirement is by using a function module i want to create another function module(if needs modify action should also be done if i need this is for the created function module) and the main thing is that the function module which we are used to create is should be RFC enabled.

Hi,
You can do one thing... you write the BDC code in the function module name you are creating... so that if you call the function module in a program and execute that program and if you give the function module to be created in the selection screen of the program... in this way there is chance of creating another function module.
