hi I need some help. i need to know how can i design a financial model template for an balance sheet. i need to create another balance sheet model for add some accounts , this account i dont want to view in the regular balance sheet.

To get you started off
Basically make it four (think it must be the same amount levels as Chart of acc) levels down by adding a child one after the other, these will be your headings, make four under each other. So after making the four headings it should be from the top left and as it goes down it goes to the right. If it isn't you haven't used "Add child". Then once on the fourth level, highlight it, right click on it, then go to "account Category - Details", here you'll add all the accounts you want to appear under this heading. You won't see it in the other window. You'll have to run your balance sheet and choose a different template.

It sounds like all of your contacts on your Mac running Lion are actually stored up in iCloud.
Several users running Mac OS X Lion and now ML (and iCloud) have no longer been able to "sync" contacts over to their older iPods models.
A work around is to export all of your contacts out of Address Book as vCards and them copy these vCards into your iPod's Contacts folder. You'll need to have the Enable Disk Use option ticked from under the iPod's Summary tab in order to browse out to the iPod's Contacts folder via the Finder.
Using your iPod as a storage drive
That's the only "solution" I have been able to use to get contacts to sync/appear on my 5G iPod Video.

Error when Creating Web Dynpro Model in CAF-Service

Hi All,
I reaaly need help. AFter updating to SPS 9, it was necessary to redeploy my Entity Service. That contains to "Create a Web Dynpro Model" in the Service Explorer,
to get an interface of the Service in my Web Dynpro Application.
Before I update to SPS 9, the Application works fine.
But now, when I want to "Create a Web Dynpro Model" in the NWDS I get the following Error-Message (its not a useful Error-Message):

Hi Aliaksei,
the problem in the thread is the same I got.
When I use only 7 letters for the operation name, the creation work. When I use more then 7 letters the creation doesnt work.
But its hard to find a methodname with only 7 letters.
In SPS 8 I didnt have problems with the length of method names. Why is it so?

Help to create a component model using Calculator Web Service :(

Hello All,
Im working on EP6 SP9 and have a Calculator Web Service.
I want to create a component which should contain following UI elements:
1. <i>InputField</i> - to enter 1st number
2. <i>InputField</i> - to enter 2nd number.
3. <i>TextView</i> - To show the result
The calculator web service consists of 4 basic methods like addition, subtraction, division & multiplication.
I want to know whether how can I provide seperate buttons to each of the above mentioned functions 'coz when I add the web service while creating a component using SAP Web Dynpro (<i>using SAP NEtweaver Developer Studio 2.0.9</i>) - Model Creation step, I get an option to select only one method (and that is add).
Its not working......
I am following the steps as mentioned in help pages on Web Dynpro, section "Web Dynpro & Web Services" and example on WebServiceEmail.
Please help.......
I have to show this in a presentation on coming Friday.

Creating Web Service Model in NetWeaver

Hi all, here's my new problem:
In my Web DynPro application, I want to create a new Web Service Model.
If I create this model based in a WS that I have deployed in my J2EE Engine, everything is created well.
In the other hand, if I want to create the model based in an wsdl file in the internet
(http://www.abysal.com/soap/AbysalEmail.wsdl) Netweaver doesn't give me any`problem and says everything is well created, but I cannot see anything! Nothing appears under the "Model" structure...
I have configured my proxy to access to the URL and ,in theory, everything looks well... But... Is something I miss??

Thanks for your reply, I dose the sam but still I m getting this problem.
it happens when I click on finish and tha it asks for adding proxy files to the and than to activity.When I click on add. the editor goes to Not Responding state.
RAM in the server is 8 GB.and in my system its 1 GB.

How to create good object model?

Does anybody know how to create good object model?
Again and again I have to create different object models in various projects. I have to solve a lot of problems.
- Define all entities
- Create objects for it
- Define relations (ususlly i use SQL Databases)
- Define methods to load/edit/save/delete entities.
- Define methods to search and featch set of entities
- Define events for entities (fired when it change)
- the biggest problem is the events for collections. If i got the collection of entities for filter [FirstName = 'Sam'] i want to recieve event NewEntityAdded(), when new entity with FirstName='Sam' is created. But i want not to recieve event when that new entity's FirstName = 'Jack'.
Do anybody know good book or set of articles for such a questions?

How manage unsubscribers from Target Groups created in Graphical Modeler

We have a communications database which I've created in Graphical Modeler. I have used a SMB filter and then subtract a 'Do not Contact' filter.
How can I manage those contacts who do not want to receive these email campaigns? In general: how can we manage unsubscribes when creating Target Groups in GM?

in gui u have to create target group in tcode crmd_mktseg create profile create target group and copy attribute list of existingif needed create filters and go for web ui create profile set and go for graphical modler and take ur attribute list and drag and drop u can split or rejoin merge target groups i think it is use full

Adobe Creative Suite Confusion. Want to Create a Website

I am so confused by all the information or should I say I am overwhelmed. I am wanting to create a website. I have an idea of the layout of the website. It is basically using a PNG image that I had created as the background. Some rounded rectangle shapes which I need to add (Dont know how to do). I will be using a top naviagtion all text with one button dropdown menu and a header footer and a sidebar. I am so confused with CSS,what it is and why I need it etc. I dont know which tools in the creative suite I need. How is fireworks used. I have seen tutorials where people make sites in photoshop and then take to dreamweaver but I have been told the coding isnt clean. I just need some advice as what to do and where to start. I think it is because there are too many tools. I would purchase additional software if it meant my job is easier but again the coding needs to be clean.

With regards your statement, "I can't make shapes in dreamweaver" maybe you should find out a bit more about the DOM, document flow, and the box model. In my head, you don't make shapes with Dreamweaver. A web page is a series of elements (in general terms, boxes) that you code up with HTML and style or manipulate with CSS and maybe, javascript. A web page is nothing like a printed page.
Take this tiny snippet of code:

That code would render in the browser fine enough. It's a <div> containing a title(<h1>) two small paragraphs (<p>) and a subtitle (<h2>).
Once you have your page structure, you apply CSS to each element as you need it. You can postition them in a rudimentary way with padding and margin and in more complex ways with float or more cautiously, with position. You can add background images, borders, color, and all kinds of fancy things and until you do, each element will just render one after the other, down and accross the page according to the content.

you should also check out youtube. there are a lot of tutorials on there on all the adobe products and probably css too. you can pause and copy the steps in the tutorials too! great place to start as well, for real for real.

SSM 7.0 - Copy SAP BI data into PAS or Create Dim. Model viewing BI Data

I am using SSM 7.0 with SAP BI. Is there some best practice / direction / comments on making a decision between:
#1 - Duplicate SAP BI data into PAS Dimensional Model
- Create an InfoCube in SAP BI
- Create the model connection required by BI Connection
- Copy the required SAP BW/BI InfoCube information into a PAS Model using the BI Connector
- Create KPIs based on this model connection
or
#2 - Make SAP BI data visible in PAS Dimensional Model (no data stored in PAS)
- Create an InfoCube in SAP BI
- Create a Dimensional Model based on this InfoCube using a Link ID and the SCHEMA commands
- Create a model connection to make data in InfoCube available in SSM
- Create KPIs based on this model connection
My thinking is that if the volume of data is low then not actually having to go to the trouble of duplicating the data in SSM would work well - with the benefit that the information is updated as soon as the SAP BI InfoCube is updated.
(At the moment I have tried #2 but so far not failed to create an KPIs - I am wondering if the Key Figures in the InfoCube need to use a particular naming standard)

Although you can use queries that already exist in BW, it is usually better to create new queries adjusted to the kind of information you want to provide in SM. There are a few rules you need to follow when creating such queries, but there is actually no naming convention for its Key-Figures.

You do not need to create a custom web part if you need to show the latest question and then display result in graphical way. The Survey list gives that OOTB.
If there is a specific requirement, you can use Server/Client Object Model and achieve it.

I can't create Entity Data Model Class directly from database

I have just installed odac beta (ODAC1120250Beta_EntityFramework) and Orace XE 11g for test.
I have Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7 32bit.
The problem is that after updating odac I can't create ADO.NET Entity Data Model class. If I try, VS2010 wizard makes me choose if I want to generate from db or create an empty model. If I choose to generate from database, the next window disappers making me return to VS2010.
The workaround is to create an empty model and then update model from database. In this way it works.
Anybody has experimented the same?...

A couple of things you could try:
1. Install SP1 for Visual Studio 2010.
2. Do you already have an Oracle connection created in server explorer? If not, try creating one and then create the model.

I am developing a Widget using Eclipse. Yesterday I closed the project and today I tried to open it again. For some reason, it seems that the config.xml file is corrupted. When I open the editor, I receive the following error:
"Can't create part for model element: null"
I tried to find out where in the xml file is the error, without success.
Do you have any clue to get it solved?

What version are you using? I have had similar problems in the past. Worst case I had to recreate the widget and copy the coding across.
Can you send me the project file, I will understand also if you do not want to, I will try it on my machine.

Creating Multiple Logical Models?

My boss wants me to model how all his APEX webbased applications interact, how they share data, by using Oracle's DataModeler software in SQL Developer environment.
So, I did a data import of the similarly named tables for each application, and each one is now its own RELATIONAL MODEL. These are just displaying as yellow entities (tables) with their corresponding column and datatypes inside.
I know to rightclick on the model in the browser to select ENGINEER TO LOGICAL MODEL, but I need to display a logical model for EACH applications related tables, but when I 'engineer to logical model' for each of the apps they all just keep adding a SINGLE logical model, when I want them to have their OWN logical model.

A logical data model will help you (and other stakeholders) understand the business and data requirements (in other words, the information needs) from a business perspective, irrespective of DBMS technology. An LDM is an analysis artefact. This is great to validate your understanding and confirm with business analysts and business reps, as well as complementing with other analysis artefacts like process models. Also very helpful to see how different systems interact, and where there is commonality and/or redundancy.
A physical data model (i.e., relational), a.k.a., database design, defines and illustrates the structure of the data as they will be implemented in a database. A PDM is a design artefact, derived or transformed from the logical data model. Developers and DBAs will be your main audience.

Yes. I would clarify your statement about the "shared" iTunes Library though. If you want each iOS device to have its own music library, you should create separate user accounts for them. Read:
