Hi. I want to make a perpetual (Birthdays) calendar so don't want it to have a year printed on it. CAn't seem to get the year removed. anyone else tried this? Succeeded????

I want to make a calendar that has no year printed on it - so it is a perpetual calendar, for birthdays.
I can't remove the year from the options. If I remove the date I get 0001 no matter what.

Here is my advice, at least. Not sure if anyone will agree, but it is my take on the problem.
With the Edge program, there is a "possibility" that someone will pay full price for a phone. This is not always the case, though. IF you do not complete ALL of the 24 months of payments, then you WILL NOT have paid full price for the phone, but simply a portion of the full price. THAT is why it does not make the plan "eligible" to keep your unlimited data. With the Edge plan, technically you only have to pay 50% of the full price before you can trade it in for another phone on the Edge plan. The way the plan is designed, the majority of people WILL NOT ever pay full price for the phone, but only a portion of the full price before they exchange their phone for a new device. That is what Verizon is hoping for, at least.
As Ann154 has pointed out, you can use the Device Payment Plan and keep your unlimited data. At no time during your contract can you trade THAT phone in to get another phone. You would have to continue making the payments on THAT phone along with any other phone you upgraded to. THAT is the difference between the 2 plans. You WILL end up paying full price for the phone on the Device Payment Plan, where you can STOP making payments on a phone with the Edge Plan if you turn it in for another device.

Glitchs like that sometimes happen
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If sit still reocurrs a lot, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

The iPhone 5, the Wall Charger, and the Lightning Cable are all covered by the 1 year Warranty. Make Genius reservation and take all 3 to Apple so the problem can be sorted and resolved.

After upgrade to 10.95 OS and Safari 7.1 I can no longer do 2 finger scrolling. Anyone else find this bug in upgrade? If so, ideas on how to fix it?

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2. -

Install it directly from Adobe. Ensure that you use the uninstaller before installing.

So basically it said that I don't have a program to open it? I already had a trial version on my mac, but deleted it..YasmineH your web browser is blocking the installation of the AAM Detect plug-in. When unlocking my iphone 5 with the camera slide, my volume controls won't work on video playbacks. However, if I unlock the phone normally and open the camera roll I am able to watch my videos with the control of the volume. Anyone else notice this?

If you updated via iTunes on the computer if synced media like apps and music were not in the iTunes library they they will not be on the iPod after the update.
If yo updated from iOS 6, iOS added the SHOW ALL feature ins Settings>iTunes and App Store. When on, iTunes purchases not on the iPod will be show in the Music app with a cloud icon by them indicating that they are not on the iPod and just tap the cloud icon to download them to the iPod. -
I received an Keynote update notice on my Mac Air. I updated and now can not get into my saved keynote docs. I am being asked to upgrade again and purchase the upgrade. Anyone else having this issue?
Try this repair, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:
1 delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote, use Appcleaner from Mac Update to do this, its freeware
2 restart the Mac; Apple menu > restart
3 immediately after the start chime, press the shift key until you see the Apple symbol.
let it fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive
4 when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and click repair disc permissions
5 when complete, restart the Mac normally
6 install Keynote from the Mac App Store

Obviously Ive had the same errors originally but the software has updated fine now. But for some reason the music on the phone will not play atall! with or with out headphones. It seems too just be staying at 0.00mins and even if I fast forward it it just stays at the particular mins fast forwarded to. Has anyone else had this problem?
Similar symptom here. I gathered from other threads that by removing all the songs and re-sync them back to iPhone4 would sort the problem! I tried with one album and it seemed to have work fine! So I removed all the songs and transferred them back again! However, I could not launch Music app any more! Click on Music and it just stopped, i.e. could not be launched!!!
However, I noticed that I could still play all the songs through headphone control. But if you play without the headphone plugged in, no sound comes out of the phone speaker!!!!!

After updating to ios 7.0.4, my ipad air will not allow me to turn on the wifi in the settings, and the bluetooth constantly shows a spinning gear in the settings. I'm currently trying to restore factory settings on the ipad for the second time. Powering off did not help. Anyone else having this problem or know of a solution?
I was going to suggest - Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings, but if you are restoring to factory settings, that should restore the settings back to factory defaults. But if you are restoring from a backup, after restoring to factory settings, try resetting all of the settings and see if that fixes it.
It might be something in your backup.
