Hi iam very new to OBIEE

1.Can any one clarifies my doubts ..what is the differnce between Fact table LTS and Dimension LTS and if we have multiple Dimension LTS how we need to define ?
2. What is the use of Bridge tables?
3. what is the use of views and is it possible to give relationship to view in physical Jions like FK

1) A logical dimension or fact table can have multiple LTS when the data of the logical table is physically stored in multiple tables for fragmentation or aggregation purposes.
Fragmentation means that the data is stored over different tables, for example: the fact table has one LTS for year = 2007, one LTS for year = 2008, etc. or the dimension table has one LTS for US customers and one LTS for EU customers etc.
Aggregation means that the data is stored over different tables but with different granularity. For example the fact table has one LTS where sales data is stored on day level, and one LTS where sales data is stored on month level.
2) Bridge table are used to create a many-to-many relationship between a dimension and fact table.
3) You can create views to create a physical table which is build upon a SELECT statement. You can use this as if it is a normal physical table, so yes it is possible to create a join between a view and another physical table.

I am very very new OBIEE technology. Our company decided to change the technology to OBIEE. So, We are in process of understanding the architecture and infrastructure for the same.
I have couple of questions:
-the BI web server is the piece that has to run on Windows or It can run any machine?
-can the BI server and the BI scheduler server run in the same physical server (AIX) ?

-the BI web server is the piece that has to run on Windows or It can run any machine?Yes, OBIEE installers are available in different flavors like windows, LINUX, Solaris etc. You can have your BI web server (SAW) on any of the supported envn. Its not mandate to have it just on windows..
-can the BI server and the BI scheduler server run in the same physical server (AIX) ? Yes, both can run on same server. This is general practice..

I am very new to updating my iPod touch and this is the first time I've used the iCloud. However, I am having problems accessing any apps on my iCloud such as photos, reminders etc. I've set it up on my iPod touch successfully and I can sign in on my PC. However, when I try to access any of the apps it says there was a problem. It doesn't tell me how to fix it or what the problem is.

AppleTV 3 only showing Apple logo when connected to very new Panasonic plasma - worked Ok with older Panasonic (2007) - have reset AppleTV, tried 3 HDMI cables.

Tried again as you suggested - no luck. Ref sequence below
A. Pressed menu & down to reset Apple TV
B after reset & restart pressed menu & up buttons to change resolution. After pressing both buttons for 6 sec, LED starts flashing - released both buttons. TV screen blank. After 20 to 30 sec horizontal lines came on screen remained for 20 sec then screen again went blank. Waited for couple minutes. LED still flashing - pressed Menu button for 2/3 sec - flashing stopped & LED glows continuously. Screen blank
C. Reset the unit again by pressing menu & down. When it restarted - while LED was still flashing, got orange color screen with Apple logo in the middle. This screen remained till LED stopped flashing & then screen went blank

In order to resolve the issue if it occurs again, more info would be helpful as to what occurred prior to the "hang." One potential fix would be to try a Safe Boot:
After the Mac is completely shut down, push the power button and immediately after the startup tone, hold down the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone but not before.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
There should be a message that says "SafeBoot." After the Mac is completely booted, try restarting and see if the issue is gone.

Very New to Graphic Design and Printing

Hi - I have recently gotten into graphic design for print...invitations, etc, and I purchased an Epson R1900 for my studio. This is my first printer purchase and I am also very new to CS5 (self-teaching over the last 2-3 months). So, you can only imagine my printer frustrations...first I had color management issues (still do, but much closer than before due to online research) and now I am trying to load custom paper and print from Illustrator (also using Mac with OSX 10.5.8). I keep getting a message saying "The source selected in the printer driver is not appropriate for the paper that is loaded in the printer." What is going on? I can't have printer issues every time I go to print something!!! Please help me!

In your Applications folder there should be an Epson Printer Utility. You need to change to the custom size there at the driver level and then again in your print dialog when printing the file.
Many problems with Epson Printer Drivers. In my case I could never get the printer utility to show up on my Mac (even after updating drivers, resetting my printers, troubleshooting with Epson, etc). I finally gave up and started using my PC to print to this printer, so I could change to custom size and roll fed.

you want to develop your own game or just want to have some games on your new device?
your phone has java runtime already, and that's all you need to run java games .. you can download them from several locations
if you want to develop your own game then download Sun's J2ME Wireless Toolkit; also have a look at Nokia Developer's Suite and emulator for your device...

Built-in apps cannot be deleted. However, there never was a FaceTime icon on the iPhone. FaceTime is accessed by selecting a contact in the Contacts app, and then selecting FaceTime. The same can be done from the Contacts tab in the Phone app.

There is no way I would do the smc thing with a laptop that won't come on.

If it's new and you're anywhere near an Apple Store, take it in. If it's less than 14 days old you can exchange it. If it's more they'll repair it for you.
