Hi, Im having trouble with my Iphones sounds, it wont let me listen to music, watch videos, notify me if i get a text, basically everything that makes a sound is no longer working. The volume level you get when you play music isnt there, HELP?!

Hi, basically i have no sound at all on my Iphone, it doent notify me when i get a text, when someone rings, when i play music or watch videos, the volume slider that is usually present while watching videos or listening to music is no longer there at all, ive turned my phone on and off a couple of times now ive put headphones in and out to see if i had a sticky jack but still no luck Someone help??

And to clarify, these are all iTunes movie and music downloads, so there should not be a compatability issue. And no, the iPod did not come damaged from Apple, it was a hand-me-down from a friend who busted the internal speaker. But it's never done anything like this before. It just had crappy sound. And yes, the timing of the movies and music having issues is the same as the speaker dying. And no, this has NOTHING To do with music videos. I don't have any on any of our devices.

It says it is in recovery mode and i need to restore . after clicking restore it says that my iphone cannot be restored . I am very frustrated because i have been online searching for solutions all day and nothing seems to work . As soon as i turn on my phone it goes to the apple logo for about 2 seconds then the connect to itunes screen . SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ! my phone is my life and i need it back on .

Connect the device to iTunes and restore from the most current backup.
If the issue continues, restore as new.

The only way to get an apple ID is to have an email account you've never used before. The only thing you can do is make her an email.

Turn down the volume of built-in speaker before playing music

So I was wondering if there was any way to turn down the volume of the built in speaker prior to playing music/video. I imagine that if I'm REALLY quick and pause the action, I can turn it down, but I'd rather not have to race against time.
The context for this, is the desire to show someone else video on the iPhone (say a National Geographic video podcast) without the audio blasting forth.
Any ideas?

So you're saying the phone doesn't remember the previous setting you had it at and jumps up or something...?
..or you want to hit play and have it not play so you can adjust the volume first...sorry can't help if that's the case. It kind of doesn't make sense from a UI perspective, when I press play or start a video I want it to play....different strokes for different folks tho

Why dose Canada get left out of everything that makes iPhone fully functional

Why does starbuck in Canada not work with passbook for iPhone 5.. This company makes me sick. Every time we in Canada spend money on a new iPhone we get screwed with lacking software.. All iPhones in the USA work fine and are all fully functional. This is 2012 there's no excuse for bad advertising once again by apple. Your gonna pay for it one day.. Right now apple is big but it will fall if they don't smarten up.

I am still having trouble with my iphone 5 searching fornetwork service. I have contacted ATT and they tried to say it was because my plan was not compatiable. But it was compatible when I set it up. Whats up with this issue?

contacted att about the issue, so I figured I would try here again. When I contacted ATT about it, and the person I talked to claimed that my service was not compatable with the phone. It is the 50 data package so I don't think that is the issue. Please help if you can.

No I haven´t take it to Apple Store, i think I will actually. My iphone was jailbroken and ulocked with gevey sim, but when this failures began i decided to restore it, and I did preserve the baseband, but when I took it into one of these "Places" they told me it would be a good idea to do a clean restore and see if this fixed the problem so I upgraded my baseband, and right now my iphone is freshly restore, no jailbreak no nothing.
Btw yes something like a year ago my screen was replaces by others not by apple, but I didnt had any issues after this.. until today (a little more than a year later).

Anybody having trouble with their iPhone after updating to 4.3.2? My phone is slow to react when I try to get out of an app, or it actually locks up.

After updating to 4.3.2 my phone is either sluggish when changing apps or non-responsive. I have tried sync'ing and turning the phone off and on, doesn't make any difference.

Wait until the screen goes black and the white Apple logo comes up on the screen.
DO NOT release the buttons until the white Apple logo comes up on the screen.

Hi. I had recieved a new iPhone 4 for christmas of 2010. I have been having minor problems with the phone since then. Sometimes when someone is calling me, and i slide the bar to accept the call, the screen freezes and wont do anything. One day my YouTube app had gotten erased and is gone. Some of my Apps freeze. My camera flash is yellow. i do not have facetime on my phone! and recently i changed my passcode lock to my phone and forgot the password, so it said to connect to iTunes and restore my entire phone. I did that 4 times and each time it failed to restore. so now i have a useless phone which i cannot do anything!
If I went to an Apple store tomorrow, do you think they would let me exchange my iPhone for a new one, at no cost? I've only had the phone for 8 months...

Try reseting your iPhone from iTunes first. In iTunes, once it's connected click on your iPhone in the sidebar and simply click reset. It will take a little while and wipe your phone, but it should work. If not, go to the Apple store.

Is anyone else having trouble with their iPhone on any kind of speakers?

Just last night, my iPhone 3gs just decided to stop working on any kind of speakers, iHome or other brands. I've plugged my phone into multiple speakers, and my phone will say that it's charging, and the power button to the speakers will say that the speakers are on, but my phone doesn't really register that it's connected to speakers. Whenever I hit play, my iPhone speakers play the music, not the speakers of the iHome. But whenever I plug my iPod classic into any of the speakers, the speakers work just fine. I'm thinking this must be an issue with the recent 4.1 update, but I don't know.
Does anyone know if there's anything I can do to solve this problem?

Yes, we all are having this problem. Search for Sony+iPhone and you'll see the threads. I have a Sony clock radio that used to work fine, now it's just a giant charger since applying OS4. Some people have got it to work by doing a hard reset so no apps are running except iPod. This didn't work for me though, and I used to also be able to play Pandora too before the upgrade.
BTW, I took my iPhone (it's a 3GS) to the Sony store and tried it on the models in the store. It worked with one of them, but not the others, so the newer ones might work. Not very useful if you've had one for a while though.
