Hi imporper functionality of table in jdev 11.1.2.2

Question

Hi all i am developing ana ppplication in jdev 11.1.2.2
i got an issue.
i am having an attribute of type number in db.and in eo its of type bigdecimal.
Then im using this vo in my page as table and when i do a createinsert operation i am unable to get the object of this attribute in the amimpl ,when i do row.getAttribute("here the name of the attribute").

this is in my page as a column.
Object ob = row.getAttribute("Days");
this is in my applimpl method.
Can someone help me out .

yah,that is what its happening its returning null.
amtester is working fine.
This is the method that takes the value of the Days and does some business logic.
Here i am getting the null.

ViewObjectImpl vo = this.getClassesView1();
Row row =vo.getCurrentRow();
Timestamp tm = (Timestamp)row.getAttribute("Startdate");
Date dt = new Date(tm.getTime());
System.out.println(dt);
